We thank God for this platform. Reading the last few pages had me thinking and then got me laughing. People sharing their experiences makes us know that we are not alone when we feel down or quite jealous of that pregnant friend or neighbor. It makes us thankful to God for life and sometimes sef, u begin to think "thank God it's only TTC". I used to go for a church program when i just got married. Then, when i saw people who had been ttc for two years, i used to think "God forbid"!! C me here, 4yrs after, just begging God to not let it enter 5yrs. Ttc can turn a confident person to an introvert. It can turn a gentle woman into a nag. We need to consciously fight it, not only with drugs and scriptures, but also with our attitude. To all that got their bfp, may you carry to full term, have a delivery even easier than that of the Hebrew women and never know sorrow over these fruits. To us still trusting on God, may our expectations become realities this year IJN. May we also have bfp announcements to make veeeery soon. |

beautyuche:I'm an advocate of working with a doctor. What if it's not the egg quality that is the issue? What if it's the endometrial lining? Has Oga done SFA to be sure that it's not the quality of his swimmers that is the problem? These are questions that you need to have answered so that you don't end up using malaria drug to treat toothache. |
Omojudy:It's advisable to use drugs based on a doc's recommendation. I think people use drugs on their own basically due to financial constraints. We however need to bear in mind d fact that what works for A may not necessarily work for B. I was shocked when my doc told me that letrozole and clomid can be combined. Na so I begin argument that they do the same job now. He sha explained that they have a formula for combination that enables you get the best out of the two. (Biko, do not try this on your own Ooo) |
shanlewise:How do you sleep at night? |
Happy new month people, may we receive the desires of our hearts this month. I saw an ad on insta and thought to share for those wanting to do a lapro. PLEASE, RESEARCH THE HOSPITAL FIRST.
|
God is great,He remains unquestionable. My friend has not had a period since last year October, she kpekused in February with the thought that "notin dey happen". she was feeling funny early this month and went to the hospital, tests revealed that she was in her pregnant( still in the first trimester). God is still on the throne and He will answer us, regardless of all medical conditions that doctors or google has told us. He is the ultimate healer, Oba Ara, Onise Iyanu, everly doing great things. I tap into her testimony and declare that God'll make us all come to testify before the end of this year. |
MamaHeaven:ma'am, i dunno how much you consider by "not too expensive" cos most hspitals in Lagos are expensive. you can try general hospital in Gbagada/ ikeja/surulere. for private hospitals, I know of parklande and Boots (both in surulere). Parklande is cheaper than Boots but they have specific times and dates that you can see the gynea. i think they have two gyneas, so you may not see the same person the next time you go. You can talk to the gynea and owner of boots at anytime, either via calls or whatsapp but the drugs are not cheap. i also hear that Isalu in ogba is good but i dont know anyone who has gone there, so cant give info on their price range. In either case, the hospital will only give you a list of the tests to conduct and the list of labs that are acceptable to them. |
fpeter:God will answer us all. She may not have told you out of consideration for you. She may have felt that telling you could /might put you in a thinking mode. Besides, are you sure she told the person who told you or that one got to know by chance? |
Mumyeva:May God bless you for being willing and selfless enough to do this for your sister. As you have decided to put a smile on her face, may all always have cause to smile. BHG, d BFP will be a sure thing and you will carry to term |
Kbabes:Hi, I will suggest that you visit a good gynea, metformin nd dost.nex r not exactly drugs that one should play around with by yourself. They have strong side effects and your doctor will probably need to see your prolactin level to determine dosage. |
Pweetiebabe:fanx luv,i stay around Ojota. please if anyone knows another tested ok trado woman around that area, kindly help with the address |
Fertilemum:me i dunno, mine is anteverted bet i'm not sure it'll be bad to try the womb setting (as long s the person doing it is experienced and will not play ludo with our wombs) especially since the setting is said to take care of other issues like leaking sp**m after kpekus. for the supplements, try folic acid, vit E, C, B6,B12. your period type and what your gynea/result says will determine what else you need. meanwhile, please i have some suppliments that i dunno when during my cycle to take. i have inositol, red clover, dhea, licorice, CoQ10. please help with the dosages and time to take what, mk i no turn my belle to pharmacy. found these links online, hope it helps someone http://health-benefits-of.net/anteverted-uterus https://www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au/health/conditionsandtreatments/retroverted-uterus |
Hi @pweetiebabe pls can you dm me the trado woman's contact? Does she reside in Lagos? I think i need a second opinion. Thanks[/quote Pls, I'll also be interested if she is in Lagos. Anyone who has a trustworthy trado woman in Lagos can pls comment. Thanks in advance |
Benignasweety:Healthplus is like medplus, they have branches around. U could try checking online for the one close to you |
4realwoman:MFA is very cool. however, you can explore the option of paying using Paypal in order to reduce the exchange rate. if you have dollars, you can also pay into their dom account. it may also be cool for people to buy together cos the more things you buy, the cheaper the shipping and other charges become per item. |
bebebeme:Babe, I'm not sure there is any medical doc here,it's just basically people with similar issues, sharing and finding strength in each other. In order for u not to misdiagnosed, i will suggest that you go to doctor who can help you analyse the results( I believe you were directed to-do the test by one) and prescribe appropriate drugs. If the doctor tells you the actual issues, then mamas here might be able to give you natural solutions to try. |
My colleague lost his10yr old son today. It has deepened my faith and conviction that only Him knows why He does what He does when He does. A lot of us have miscarriages and begin to question our faith. Years of delay also brings out similar attitude in us. I think we should be specific in our prayers. Let's pray for Godly children who will make us,the church of God,d nation and even the world proud. Children that will live to see their own grandchildren. Children that will give us peace, joy and pride right from the time of their birth till we depart the earth at a ripe old age. Healthy children that will not require special care or drugs and that their birth will not be the catalyst to the death of their mother/father/siblings. My heart goes out to anyone who has lost a baby or pregnancy. Count it all joy and judge Him faithful to give us double for all our troubles. It is well |
Monwojuoluwa:I support this. You can even drop d name of the hospital while gisting. That's d same scope someone used on me, as she drop d name like dis, I find am go and google, got the address and went to check the place out. However, don't let the gist be too ttc focused abeg, u know how touchy we can get. |
@folash |
folash:i didn't get your response. |
folash:I really can't say, I used the hospital 2013 or early 2014. You can just go there to make enquiries and get a feel of the place. |
Ayun:my sister, where can we run to? we will continue praying ni. my brother got married about a year after i got married, now he has two kids. my SIL also got married after me, she has a kid now and i suspect that she is pregnant again. her first pregnancy was confirmed like two months after my blighted ovum was evacuated, i nearly cried my eyes out. DH was either not sympathetic or was using stong eyes, i was too distraught to ask questions. now, my other SIL is preggas , she got married two years after me. i am judging God faithful, sebi he has said that not one of His words will go back to him unfulfilled? so we just need to remind Him constantly about it. |
folash:it's St Andrews hospital, around oshodi/isolo. dnt have their card again but Uncle google came to the rescue 26, Supo Adetunji Road (Formerly Oteomi Road), Papa Ajao, Oshodi Isolo, Lagos, Nigeria. 0704_0346_671, 0704-03-456_73 hope it helps. meanwhile, who knows Boot hsptl in Surulere? i hear they r very good. |
Stephaniecoa: i'm not so sure about this, i had a Dr who used to administer both trado and engliish toDH and i in our first year of TTC. my quarell with him was that he was never interested in explaining stuffs to me and curiosity no gri me just dey take drugs/ tests without knowing what they were for or interpretation of the tests. Funny enough, i have people that swear by the man's combo of trado and english helped them. i got my first official BFP like two months after stopping wiv him. so i guess its not so much about mixing trado and english, its about ensuring that the trado and english do not have the same function. eg, d trado might be to correct irregular period while the english will be for ovulation. |
mztubsy:it is well with you God will make your stay here very short and speedily grant you your desire to be a mother. anytime you are down, just find a private place to cry unto God, after which you leave there, trusting Him to fulfil His words in your life. He has said that not one of His words will pass away unfulfilled and since His word says that non shall be barren, that he makes the barren woman to be a mother of children(He did not even say child ooo), then we know that we have the assurance that we will be fruitful. |
ogunbekun:medical ART is good bet dia price is nor hia!!!. IUI is 1m, registration is 250k, IVF starts from 1.7m. gird your loins if you want to use them , but they seem very organized and the ambiance there is cool ( asif na ambiance i find go dia ) |
Saw this on insta from a lady who's ivf cycle was cancelled cos she had only one good follicle. That abandoned follicle gave her a BFP naturally. Holding on to Job 5:25 for us all
Please mamas any home remedy for thrush? I used one native soap for my bath and felt a sting when the lather touched there. Please I don't want to take drugs for it since I am ovulating. I really don't want anything standing in the way of conception. Please help
sorry, those ghana/black soaps can fit to sting. so this is what i found on google. 1. Yoghurt Dip a tampon in yogurt and insert it in the jagyna for 2 hours. After removing it, clean the area with lukewarm water and pat dry thoroughly. Do this twice a day. Also, include yogurt containing live cultures in your diet. You can also opt to take probiotic supplements after consulting your doctor. Note: For treating a yeast infection, only use plain, unsweetened yogurt. Any sweetened yogurt will only worsen the condition. 2. Coconut Oil Coconut oil stands out as a natural remedy for thrush. It has effective antifungal properties that can kill the fungi responsible for yeast infections. Directly apply extra-virgin coconut oil topically on the affected area, 2 or 3 times a day until you see improvement. You can also include it in your daily diet. Start with 1 teaspoon of extra-virgin coconut oil daily and gradually increase the dosage to up to 3 tablespoons per day. 3. Apple Cider Vinegar The natural enzymes in apple cider vinegar help regulate the pH of the jagyna, which in turn helps prevent yeast growth. Additionally, it is known to boost immunity and good bacteria in the gut and jayay, which helps in preventing as well as treating thrush. Plus, apple cider vinegar has malic acid containing antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties. Add 3 tablespoons of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar to 2 cups of warm water. Use this solution to wash the area, 2 times a day until you notice improvement in your condition. Combine equal amounts of apple cider vinegar and water. Soak a tampon in the solution and insert it into the below for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove the tampon, wash the area with warm water and then wipe the area until it is completely dry. Repeat once daily until the infection heals. Another option is to fill your bathtub with warm water. Add 2 cups of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar to it. Sit in the bath with your knees folded toward your body and allow your under to soak in this bath for 15 minutes. Gently pat yourself dry before putting on clothes. Enjoy this soothing bath once a day only. Mix 2 tablespoons of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar in 1 cup of warm water. Drink it twice daily for a few days. 4. Garlic Take a clove of fresh garlic and peel off the natural, white paper shell that covers it. At bedtime, put the clove into the jagyna. The next morning, remove the garlic clove and clean the jagyna with lukewarm water. Do this once daily for 2 or 3 days. Eat a few fresh garlic cloves daily and also include it in your cooking. You can opt to take garlic tablets or supplements, after consulting your doctor 5. baking soda Mix 1 cup of baking soda in a bathtub filled with warm water. Soak in it for 10 to 15 minutes once daily for 1 week. You can also dissolve ½ teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water and drink it once daily on an empty stomach for 2 weeks. Take a break for 2 weeks and repeat again for another 2 weeks. |
folash:funny enough, mecure prices are like ok. hormonal is 16500(plus progesterone test), hsg is 20k, thyroid is 6600 |
curvilicious:i read previous posts and people testified to the intensity of their flows when they drank bitterleaf juice during AF. take a cup in the morning and at night |
Omojudy:Not trying to form spiricoco but have u tried praying, azin praying like your life depends on it? i have been trying to read this thread from page one (i've been skipping though) and i noticed that a lot of people who had delays or frequent msc"s quoted fasting, vigils and deliverance as part of what they did differently.I also read about people noticing that they had a particular dream or experience each time they had a miscarriage. I'm not saying that you are not spiritual oooo, but i think a lot of times, we either do not pay attention to our dreams or don't take them serious. i"m speaking from the stand point of someone who only just realized that i used to have the same dream close to when AF is to come. |
