i dont think its right treating iui same as ivf.ie as per drugs, ivf targets producing many eggs say 6 to 15eg

ordinary clomid/letrozole/taxo... could be given to the woman to stimulate egg production, since its only 2 to 4 eggs that r required.

My brother, I help people assume the best out of every situation, hence my research on prices and co in order to help myself believe that their prices r justified .
I honestly believe that the price should vary based on individual needs. Just list out all it the options and allow the person choose which one she wants.
Some people need iui just to bypass the cervix, not that they are not ovulating normally. While some may need more ovulation prompters than others.
I think ttc related drugs and treatments are generally overhyped in Nigeria. Why will you ask someone to pay 1.9m for hysteroscopy, a procedure that doesn't take up to an hour?
In all, we pray that God removes us from the clutches of overhyped procedures and expensive trado practitioners by crowning our current effort(s) with success.

Some hospitals treat IUI almost the same way they treat IVF, the exception is that they don't harvest the eggs for you. I saw menopur online for $349 for 10. if we use 367 per dollar, thats 128k for the ten and you will be given 5.
i overheard a doctor asking for the price of sperm prep medium and when he was told 39k, he himself shouted. Now, if the hospital intends to transfer sperm twice, it means that they will use like two bottles of the sperm prep @39k each. if you have male factor issues, they will probably have also issued drugs to DH to boost count and motility.
Then you will be given HCG shots to ovulate and probably other injections to regulate progesterone.

Let's remember that most of these drugs are imported and affected by exchange rate. plus they have to be stored at certain temperatures so that they don't loose their efficacy. the doctors sef g chop and pay staff, na for where person dey do e dey chop.
With all this o, 150k-200k is fair. But if its just letrozole no sperm wash and one HCG shot, that 35k sef is plenty.

meanwhile, se you know that some hospitals in Lagos charge 1.5m for IUI?

For those who want to buy kit and do at home, check amazon. if it's not one of the items they ship directly to Nigeria, there are plenty companies that now allow you buy things from the obodo oyinbo and deliver to you here for shikini money.

You can buy locally for the first month if you want to start immediately and then try buying through mallforafrica or shoptomydoor. The selling websites often offer discounts for bulk purchases and by the time you add the shipping cost, you still would have saved a lot of money. Shop to my door also offers different shipping time/options which will make the cost more reduced.

Its a fertility hospital at surulere. Since the place is usually crowded, they must be good.
Just go there with a bucket full of patience. Also confirm the days and time for gynea visit on their website before going in order to avoid stories that touch.

Gave my heavy cramps. I had a regular cycle so nothing changed but had to complete 3mths as recommended by my doctor. All 3mths cramps were hell. Try ACV and BSM with massage. That's what reduced my cramps and I only take panadol once nowadays if I have cramp any month. I used to have very painful cramps with vomiting even before marriage.

I didn't av any side effects from clomid. Maybe because I used alongside letrozole share. I only stopped cos of fear of fibroid but far from being dry, over wet is doing me.
Maybe u should try inositol and vitex along with the bitterleaf therapy.
