Good afternoon people, hope we r all good. Pls let's hear gists of BFP's to boost our spirits abeg.
Ehen ooo, someone tried sending me a private message yesterday from the group. When i checked her profile /previous messages,I realized that she sells drugs. I stand to be corrected o, but I think once u av advertised ur drugs here from time to time, please leave it at that, anyone who is interested will contact you. We have different tolerance level and can fit to read meaning into things differently.
As I dey like this, asides from d hospital prescribed drugs, it's natural stuffs like bitter leaf juice and cabbage tins that I'm interested in.

Morning people, happy Sunday. So,I av official started my hsptl runs this year . Went to parkland on Friday, gynea had gone home. Went back yesterday, d delay was not encouraging. We got there around past4, we didn't leave until past 10, DH was just fuming.
Mehn, ttc journey is not cheap, anybody on a budget should not go near Parklande o. Odnari family card-10K, monthly consultation_14K, small drugs(m2tone and infection drugs)-28K.
The one dt is baffling me is d cost of d tests. Hormonal profiling-30K, thyroid test-15K, hsg-40k!!!!!. When I asked if i could do my tests outside jejely, they told me they only accept tests from mecure and Prism, I just weak. God has to answer me this year oooo, I'm tired of enriching some pple from my pains abeg. cry

I stay at ogudu too. If you don't mind using a general hospital, you can try gbagada. Their gynaes there are very good, and their clinic days are on Fri.
Folash, thanks. I've heard about gbagada General hspt, esp for pregnant women. Hubby has a phobia for gen hsptls cos of the blood donation they ask from the husbands grin .
Lemme just jejely go with parkland esp since they av gyneas on call for longer periods.

RANTING MONDAY
So this neighbour of mine came to meet me sometimes last year after another neighbour put to birth, telling me not to worry, that my own too would come too, I should keep on praying bla bla bla. I told hubby about it and he got angry being that we very private people and all. He even wanted to go and meet the woman, and tell her never to discuss such with me, but I told him to let it go.
Fast forward to yesterday, this same woman saw hubby outside, asked of me and told hubby that she would like to see me, hubby asked her for what, she dint want to talk initially, saying its better she tells me about it directly, after so much persistence, she told hubby that "u know after marriage, the next thing should be children, and that she knows that we ve been married for a while without kids, that she just wants to encourage me, that I shouldn't worry that my own children would come. Na so hubby vex tell am say make she no follow am talk that kain thing for her life again. That does she even know if it's deliberate, and we dont wana have kids yet.
Hubby has even said he would report her to her husband, and to think that is somebody
that I don't have any form of rapport whatsoever with. The only thing that binds us together is good morning, good evening, that's all.
I was just dumbfounded when hubby told me. This TTC journey isn't easy at all. May God make it easy for us and answer us sooner than we expect.
Same thing happened to me 2015. My LL's wife put to bed and my neighbor decided that it was an opportunity for her to poke her nose in my biz. To b honest, when she asked me why "they had not seen big stomach", I was too shocked to give her the comeback she deserved. This is someone that our interaction is limited. Hubby was mad and wanted to call her hsb to warn her. I honestly wish she'd pull d stunt ur neighbor pulled so that she can enjoy the tongue lashing that hubby will give her.
D day my FIL's sister drew me aside to recommend her "wooli" for me, it was my MIL that saved her from hubby's vex. grin

[color=#006600][quote author=Thehomemaker post=54101434]Hi Dear, you can check parklande specialist hospital surulere. 13, rasaq balogun street off Adeniran ogunsanya. They have two gyneas and consultation for gynea is Monday to Saturday in the afternoon. (3-7pm).

I use them also.

Have a blessed day.

thank u so much. Lifeshore was recommended to us for IVF and i was just telling DH that we should try the normal hospital first (parkland) before deciding whether to move to Lifeshore (hopefully not) since they are owned by the same person. it was after the discussion that i logged in to check if anyone had recommended hospitals and i saw this. will check them out this week BHG.

priscaver:
I know of a my gynea. a very good and patient one that won't treat till all tests are done . he also listens his consultation is also reasonable but its ikorodu. Don't know where u r on mainland. Be more specific
Thank you for the quick response. however due to the fact that i live around Ogudu and work at Yaba, i'll prefer a Gynea that i can quickly visit both during work hours and weekends which will not be achievable with Ikorodu.

Please all, anyone with info of good gyneas around yaba/surulere/ maryland/ilupeju/ikeja/berger or even Ogba?

thank you

Gd afternoon, happy Sunday. I've been reading posts here off and on for some time now. My marriage will b four years next month, meaning that my TTC journey will b four yrs old also.
Hubby is of the opinion that we should save for IVF, but I am of the opinion that all we need is a good gynea( my first doc could delay for Africa and was always unwilling to discuss issues. Not been to any Doc for over a year now) since the cost of IVF is not cheap.
Could anyone recommend a good Gynea/hospital in Lagos mainland where we can get good treatment at a reasonable price?
Thanks in advance
