It's lochia, don't think it's something you should be worried about.

Hi Guys,

I will appreciate some clarification from the experts or experienced.

Now we are expecting the second baby, and she is registered at the General Hospital and a diff Private hospital this time. She was asked to do CT pelvimetry scan which she did at Afriglobal. The report that came with the scan footage says her sacropubic diameter is inadequate. Her value is 11.1 and the reference value is 11.5

When the report was taken the hospital (private), she was told that she will have to go through a CS and she should decide on a date when its time.

The same report was then taken to the General Hosp, and she was told that the report may not be accurate that she will go through viginal delivery first, then they may now revert to CS if necessary.

Kindly help shed some light .

I'm not a doctor o!! I believe that private hospitals avoid taking risks and look for the easiest/simplest way out of things, most likely to avoid being sued or having bad reputation.

General hospitals on the other hand are more of risk takers and will try until they have no choice but to take the CS route.

The decision lies in the hands of your wife, is she ready to be used as a form of Guinea pig? She should weigh the pros and cons and decide on what to do.

Letting God b d judge is actually what I hope she will choose instead.

Ironically, I used to believe that God was punishing me for a termination I did b4 I got married, so a saint, I'm definitely not.

You see these two are the main issues. If you can't talk to your mum, then who will understand you? Secondly, if your husband should beat you to the point of death or maiming you, those kids you have decided to "remain" for will live their lives. Strangers may feel your pain, but will only b able to offer you some level of comfort. It's best you leave a situation that sounds like a threat to your health and general well-being.

Lastly, I don't think you should be talking termination/laying curses and God in the same breath. I know what your husband is doing hurts, but if you have ever tried to conceive for just 3 months sef, you will not wish it on your worst enemy. If you think God will actually answer your curse, then know that He will also make you pay for the termination ( we don't get to choose which side of God we want to see).

I went for ANC on Friday and the doctor gave me a prescription of ferrous, fesolate and vitamin C to get meanwhile I'm on pregnacare original. The question now is can I take them with the pregnacare? Or should I stop pregnacare for the ones the doctor gave me.

I think he is trying to boost your blood level. You should be able to take along with pregnacare.

Please who knows any information about giving birth in onikan health center?. The private hospital I do my antenatal I overheard them telling someone they don’t believe in CS that doesn’t sit well with me at all so my DH suggested we use onikan for delivery. Would I need to register antenatal there or anybody have information? Please kindly respond

HI ma, dunno about onikan, but FMC at oyingbo is pretty good. I will just advice that you go with all your test results in order to reduce how much you will spend. Actual anc reg is less than 17,000, but tests can gulp like 30k.

I’ve not commented here in a long while. I really don’t think anyone who has ever walked in the shoes of people here would ever call anyone jealous and any sort of names.
It’s fine for you to say that you decided to share how you got your baby, but you should have just dropped the info and moved on. You don’t need to try and force it down people’s throats.
If indeed you had read past pages of this thread, you’ll see that we have reasons to be weary and you should respect that.
Since your testimony is true, then I pray for you that God grants you multiples of what you wish for people on this thread.

Nope i was personally in that very clinic when both the owner of Fertility Chick and one other lady came in, introduced what they do and had a chat with with of the Doctors who happened to be a junior doctor there....

They did not ask any penetrating questions or request for a tour only for them to go and publish an in-accurate information about the clinic.....This i know personally i wasn't told, i witnessed it

Like I said, they wrote their opinion of the hospitals and then did ranking based on members feedback. You can either go with their opinions or go with feedback from members, your choice. Mostly, I read comments and use that as an aid.

I think registration, preliminary assessment, drugs and procedure is about 1.3m. Follow up drugs after pregnancy is 60k( I still think that’s an error in communication)
When you compare with George’s (about 2m) and Olive Branch (over 2m), it is veeeery cheap.

I know about one done recently by Fertilitychick with an inaccurate information about one of the fertility clinics I know very well.....those guys came, meet one of the doctors and two nurses and without even a tour of the clinic facilities went away to write a report that does not reflect the clinic abilities

This is not exactly true. Fertility chick stated how they came about their ratings. They wrote their opinions and voted the clinics based on member feedback.
If you read the one they did this yr, they asked for people to state their personal experience in each of these clinics too.

Your delivery is still crappy. Ordered for items since October, chose sea freight, it’s still not been delivered.
To add salt to injury, two of the items were stolen/ misplaced and shop to my door is refusing to replace because the value of the items have gone up by $5 (combined o, not $5 each).
Is it my fault that you guys were negligent? Should you not be concerned about customer satisfaction instead of being petty by asking for $5 from me? Why don’t you close the gap in your company that allows for items to get missing instead of spoiling your rep?
Finally, I heard that even if I pay the additional $5 to replace the items, you guys will ship by sea. That means that it would take another 4 months or so to get the items, making a total of 7 months for items I had paid 6pm for!!!!!!!

Let me gist u abt my sis. She is 40yrs old, her monthly period could not fill one spoon. It was basically like spotting cos she didn’t need to wear pad sef and it last d for one day only.
Without using any medication, she is currently 10wks pregnant.

Pele, pls do hormonal essay cos irregular periods r often caused by hormonal imbalance. If you want to self medicate, then u can take vitex .

a similar mindset has killed some women who insist on natural birth , refusing ceaserean..even when the baby is so big.
that ivf didnt work for you then..also doesnt mean it wasnt Gods will, he may hv been preparing you etc....

I don’t think that was his intention, he even mentioned the case of an elderly woman who got pregnant via ivf in the same hospital. He was simply stating that it’s not by our efforts, it takes the mercy of God. We should not abandon prayers and focus on drugs alone.

May God give you double for your losses. I luv how you guys r even deciding when to try , but like you wrote , God's will is the ultimate. Please, start to bd as soon as ur doc gives u the clearance to start trying, the month the baby is birthed does not determine his/her greatness and God's plan for his/her lives.
The koko is that we have healthy, Godly and blessed fruits.

Y don't you ask the hospital for their list of acceptable diagnostic centers? It will not be cool for you to do the tests and then have the results rejected.

Some people have testified to the efficacy of serrapeptese, and the Chinese teas. However, I think you will need to use religiously for at least two months. There is a thread for blocked tubes on NL, kindly search and read back.
For your husband, you can try either addyzoa, manix or fertilisanM. You should also change his diet and encourage him to go au natural whenever he is at home as heat is one of the factors listed for LSC. If he can rest his man parts in a bowl of water with ice cubes every morning and nite,it should help also. I think there is also a thread on this, kindly check there for more info

My dear, if you give up, what's next to do? A life without faith and trust in God is incomplete. I cannot say I've not thought like you at one point or the other but the truth is that after my ranting and loss of faith, I find myself seeking God again. No one else can put an end to ttc apart from God. His ways are not our ways and in sure that if God could open our eyes, we'd laugh at ourselves.
God is not a man that He will lie, His word says none shall be barren, therefore we aren't barren. Please hang on, your testimony is just around the corner
