Same thing have happened to men around the world too. You don't see or hear them shouting about it, do you? Life is a struggLe, that's a standard fact, struggling isn't only synonymous to women alone, is it?

Same happened to me also, I got my current job via sweet nepotism. My competence too was questioned and most of what you typed was said to me. And you know what, it was and still is my greatest pleasure to make them eat their words.

If there's one thing I love doing, is proving myself and making my nay sayers eat the negative words they say about it. I don't whine, I take a challenge and entirely love it, even when I was a teacher, do you know how many times I was called poor, wretched and won't amount to nothing?

I believe such cases usually involve the say so of a family member. I too have lost a brother during the 2007 doctors nation wide strike, I watched him die when doctors littered the place.. so let's not feel as if we're the only ones who experience pain.

People die everyday. Women aren't the only ones dying, I hope you know this. Whenever there's a struggle, death is usually inevitable.

I have it better than 90% of girls and I know it. Do you really think I'd have gotten this job in a regular setting if I didn't have someone's recommendation? Do you knw how many times I've been referred to as 'small girl'? My niece was denied her position as sports prefect because it'd be shameful for people to knw that a girl is better at sports than all the boys.

These are just 1% of my experience and I've had it better than a lot of others.

*Women can't possess property in their name
*The gap between the annual salary index of males to females is ludicrous
*Men are three times more likely to be considered for a leadership role than females..meaning,girls need to work thrice as hard
*Its illegal for a woman to go out un-accompanied
*Women only recently acquired the right to vote and run for office
