Beer is cheaper there for many reasons. Some of the reasons are:

1.
Rent and labour are cheaper there. It is cheap to rent a bar and pay waitresses.

2.
Higher rates of poverty and illiteracy in the North positively hinder ostentatious lifestyles the region. Northerners will hardly brag about going to expensive bars. Ostentatious lifestyles and unhealthy competition make people in the East and in the South to flex financial muscles in expensive bars. The higher the prices of drinks in a bar in either the East or the South, the more popular the bar.

The demand for beer is low there for religious reasons. The lower the demand for a product, the lower the price of the product.

4.
Another possible reason is that there may be many breweries in the North.

Apart from number 3 you are not making any Sense. To say there's more bear parlour in North compare to south means you've not travel out. And only a literate person will avoid drinking bear because he has been informed of the harm it cause to the body/kidney.
