SHORT OF WORD BUT I BLIEV ALL IS WELL

This is just to make people understand the truth about the yesterday ladipo demolition. I did a self-journalism,interviewed a few people, in order to truncate the on-going tribal bashing here. According to the reliable voices I heard from,the chairman of the ladipo market nicknamed "Sege" had been notified of the demolition exercise, which is a prerequisite to building a standard and well structured market, since 18 months before the demolition date. "Sege" was carried along in the demolition plan and he signed series of documents acceding to the development on behalf of the people he chairs. However, he failed to convey the real information to his followers because he understood his source off livelihood (tax payed by shop owners) will automatically cease.he also collected N10,000 each from them telling them the issue had been resolved and the money served to bribe the Mushinl government authorities.Other sources confirmed the rate at which he switches from one exotic car to another. This was all made known as the people held meetings with the Mushin local government authorities where he(sege) was speechless. And the authority promised to look into traders getting back their goods. This is simply a case of misrepresentation and greed and has no tribal nor political undertone.

Question:

A Shaykh is refusing to help non-Muslims
(Christians) in case of Sihr by reading Ruqiyah
using Ayah from Surah - Isra: 82 as justification. Is
he right? Are there any Hadeeth saying that
Ruqiyah shouldn't be used to help people with Sihr
unless they are Muslims?

Fatwa:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the
Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of
worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His
slave and Messenger, may Allaah exalt his mention
as well as that of his family and all his companions.

There is no disagreement among the scholars
concerning the permissibility of making Ruqyah
(reading Qur'an and Prophetic supplications) to
non-Muslims. The evidence for this is the narration
of Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri, may Allaah be pleased
with him, who said that they came during a journey
to a tribe of Arabs, who refused to host them. But,
the leader of the tribe was bitten by a snake; they
(the tribesmen) came to the companions may
Allaah be pleased with them, and asked them to do
Ruqyah for him. The companions refused to do so
unless they paid them a wage for it. They agreed to
give them a flock of sheep. The companions then
made the Ruqyah and the leader of that tribe was
cured. When they came to the Prophet Sallallaahu
Alayhi wa Sallam, he said: "What you did is correct
and make one share for me too." [Muslim]
The narration proves that making Ruqyah for a
non-Muslim is allowed. As for the verse
(interpretation of the meaning): {And We send down
from the Qur'aan that which is a healing and a
mercy to those who believe (in Islaamic
Monotheism and act on it), and it increases the
polytheists (and wrong-doers) nothing but loss.}
[17:82], it does not prevent making Ruqyah for non-Muslims. The meaning of this verse is as explained
by Abu Qataadah, may Allaah be pleased with him,
if a Muslim listens to the Qur'an, he benefits from it
while a disbeliever does not benefit from that. A
believer is cured from doubts, hypocrisy, and other
spiritual diseases while a disbeliever does not get
such a cure.

10 Wife Duties To Avoid With Male friends

1. Some ladies think that acting like a wife will
automatically persuade the guy to put the ring on their finger That is faulty thinking and could lead you into big emotional problems.
2. Just so we are clear, until he puts the ring on
your finger,
you are NOT, I repeat, not, his wife. You go
everywhere
together, hold hands, kiss in public, he introduces
you to his
friends as ‘my wife’, all that is nonsense until he
puts a legal
ring on your finger.
3. You are dating him, that doesn’t give him the
right to
demand wife duties from you. Dating and marriage
are totally
different things. Even if he is engaged to you, that
doesn’t give
him the right to demand wife duties from you.
4. Some men demand that you cook for them,
organise their
apartment and give them sex to prove that you are
good wife
material. Don’t you fall for that. Any man who tells
you that
wants to use and dump you. And, DON’T move in
with him
because that will automatically make you his ‘in-
house-mistr
ess’ who will perform all his wife duties for him
without the
commitment of marriage.
5. You don’t have to submit to him until he puts
that ring on
your finger. Some men demand that you should
submit to them
because you are dating. If he wants you to submit
to him when
you are not dating, just think of what he would do
to you if you
are married to him. This does not mean you should
be
disrespectful to him, however you must
understand that you are
not under his total control. Dn't go about agreeing
to all he
says even when you know that it contradicts your
own views
and decisions,
6. Don’t give him your money unless you are sure
that you will
get it back. If you give him your money because he
is a
‘potential husband’, you can kiss that money
goodbye because
you may never see it again.
7. Stop giving him your body whenever wherever.
Anytime he
wants sex, he calls you up, yet he hasn’t put the
ring on your
finger. Giving him sex is counter productive. Your
objective is to
get married to him, not to warm his bed.
Pretending to be his
wife by giving him sex will not make him put that
ring on your
finger.
8. It is not complex: if he wants you to perform
wife duties for
him like cooking, organising his life, sex and all
other wife
duties, tell him to take you to his family and
organise a
marriage.Stop being foolish. If he really loves you
as he
whispers in your ears, he should take you to the
marriage
registry.
9. If he gets all the wife duties from you for free,
why on earth
do you think that he will make you his wife? If he is
not ready
to make a life commitment to you, he doesn’t
deserve any wife
benefits.
10. Protect yourself from emotional and sexual
abuse. Stop
giving this man what he doesn’t deserve. If he is
not willing to
honor you by putting that ring on your finger, then
he is not
worthy to receive wife benefits from you. When you
become his
wife, then he will get treated like a husband.
