Security isn't all about buying vehicles,its far beyond that,what's the operational capabilities of the amorekun,can you put them at lar with the rrs in Lagos.......what is the security situation report from amotekun since this incident happened? They are visibly not on ground......the simple truth my friend is that majority of the govs are hugely underperforming in the area of security.

The truth of the matter is that Govornors are just chief security officers of their state on paper. And that is the truth. Even with that,I don't know of other state o,in Oyo the security agencies are well funded and it is in public you should Google it.

Oyo police have gotten more than 300 vehicles since 2019. And a purchase of two helicopters which is currently being assembled at the Airforce in Lagos. You can Google it. Still yet,the Govornor cannot still order the police around. They have to get orders from Abuja. That is what we are saying is wrong

The Govornors are like a Man with no teeth and you give him meats to chop. You want to solve insecurity,give us state police then you can blame the Govornor of any state. But for now,all the Govornors can do is to furnish the national police who still won't take orders from them until from Abuja yet Abuja is currently playing politics with insecurity

P.S. I guess you have forgotten an episode of a police officer in public embarrassing Sanwo Olu and telling him he doesn't take orders from him. He even told him he can't call his boss that he can only give the Govornor his boss number for he Govornor to call his boss and then his boss will call him. Were you not in Nigeria then or you didn't see it?

If such can happen in public do you know which will happen in private? So leave sentiments apart and tell tinubu to do the right thing as that is what can solve insecurity and not this current one we are doing

Even members of the APC card carrying APC folks in Oyo know that he has done excellently well in terms of funding Amotekun and the police force. Not to even talk of the police. Amotekun got over 400bikes as startup and currently over 200 trucks for Amotekun. Note, I'm not talking about the police o..let's not talk about them yet

you probably didn't read. Lagos never needed Amotekun as they already had neighborhood watch. Tinubu was the one that advised the other states on how to get Amotekun and get the nod of the then FG.

If Seyi Makinde had any sense of seriousness and responsibility for his state, he wouldn't be playing politics. Wike never needed Amotekun or any regional group to clear out nonsense. He wasn't doing begibegi or playing helpless that he didn't get help from Buhari.
