Ironsi was on a visit to all regions and he decided to start from the SW which he started from Ibadan. Maybe they could not kill him in Lagos because nigha was afraid and a coward where he used to go sleep at on the Naval boat and he sleeps there everynight..

So saying otherwise by saying they choose Ibadan doesnt make he true at all,the opportunity showed up for them to do what they had to do

Nobody will call anybody betrayal or anything. The coup was a coup lead by soldiers. It has nothing to do with where the coup was to take place.

The coup plotters saw an opportunity and they took it. They might have even killed Ironsi in the North or Lagos or anywhere. I'm sure they didnt choose Ibadan because of what you are saying because it is all conjectures

After going through the history of the coup I understood why there shouldn't be Nigeria in the first place. Guess what , Akintola and Tafawa Balewa caused this coup. If you read our story since 1956 till date you will realize that nothing has changed in our political scene. Tafawa Balewa declared state of emergency in the western region just like Tinubu did in Rivers and that was one of the reasons that provoked the kaki boys. Awolowo & Zik fvckup big time , there shouldn't have been a country called Nigeria in the first place

And Yes truly it was Akintola and the North that caused the Jan coup. It was a bloodly periode before soldiers symathetic to the Awo cause decided to do something.

Also,I think if wè didnt discover oil Nigeria would have broken off into bits and pieces. It is oil that wè are still enjoying that is still holding Nigeria together

Even the civil war was technically fought so as to take the Oil regions away from ojukwu. Because ojukwu himself decided to add the Oil areas to his Biafra

So its all personal interest from every one of them and that is why wè are here

The July plotters already penciled Fajuyi down to be killed as they thought he was among the planners of January coup. He was named and called "Action grouper" by the July coupisrs and that was why they took both him and Ironisi along.

However Fajuyi knew about the coup but he wasnt a participant as he was away out of the country when the coup took place.

Btw,How can he even stop Danjuma and his group from taking Ironisi? When they were fully armed. So that lies that he lay his life for Ironsi isnt true.
