Your marriage is very young and you are coming in with the wrong mentality. You cannot show love to a woman while hating her family, she will not be fooled and you will not have her complete loyalty. Take charge of your home and take leadership with respect to all relationships, including your relationship with your In-Laws, agree with your wife on what should be done given the resources available and show care in other areas that may not require footing bills. Encourage your wife to work and earn a living ( if she does not have one) so that she can also be a good place to help out without losing sight of who comes first, your family first.

If you keep threatening divorce, becareful as she will over time prepare for it, and when you have done your worse, it will surprise you how well she will move on.... you will see divorce and fear.. its never easy on anyone.

"A mass defection at the Senate on Tuesday has enthroned the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to majority control at the upper chamber of the National Assembly.

After the 2015 election, the All Progressives Congress (APC) ended the reign of PDP as the ruling party for the first time since 1999.

APC had 63 members in the Senate to become the majority, while PDP had 43.

However, Tuesday's action has turned the table in the Senate, with APC now the opposition while PDP is now the majority party.

The latest defection saw bigwigs in the Senate such as Dino Melaye, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Lanre Tejuosho, Abdulazeez Nyako and Monsurat Sunmonu cross to the PDP.

Presently, PDP leads the Senate with 58 members while APC has 48.

Senator Victor Umeh remains the only member of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the floor of the Senate.

Similarly, at the lower chamber, 33 APC members defected to PDP while four others defected to ADC. However, APC still maintains the majority in both the lower chamber, and the National Assembly as a whole.

This could change soon, though, if the defectors' claim that more defections are underway is something more than a mere threat.

"The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, says President MuhammaduBuhari is using the state security agencies to victimize the leadership of the National Assembly.

In a statement released on Tuesday following the siege to the residences of Senate President Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu, Secondus said the actions of the APC-led Federal Government is dangerous to democracy.

He condemned the President for allowing such behaviour under his watch, accusing him of operating a totalitarian government.

He said: “The APC government led by President Muhammadu Buhari is using state security apparatus like the Nigerian Army, Department of State Services and the Nigerian Police to attack the National Assembly with the aim of forcibly overthrowing its leadership and rendering the third arm of government comatose.

“We hereby call on all Nigerians home and abroad to immediately speak up against this act of gross violation of the constitution of Nigerian and the attempt disruption of the democratic process and institutions by President Muhammadu Buhari and privatised members of the Nigerian security agencies.”

He also called on all Nigerians, traditional rulers in Nigeria and the international community to caution the President."
