happney65 I supported GEJ's subsidy removal back then with this same point up there. You opposed him. Your point wasn't valid back then until now. Where are the sure-p bus and staffs. But I'll still support PMB's move again with this same point. And I'll be hoping Buhari do a good job with money meant for the subsidy. Most people protesting back then were doing it based on the fact that they don't trust the government to handle the sure-p programs. And they were right. Sure-p was another Avenue for scam. But if we can put aside our differences and look for a way forward. In no time we'll be enjoying fuel at the lowest price ever. If dem like make dem occupy everywhere this remains a good plan to me. No more subsidy.

I did not support deregulation of the Oil and Gas Industry neither will i now..You cant keep comparing the telecommunication industry to that of Oil and Gas..We had no telecommunication industry at all and it was deregulated.so tell me something,we have a Oil and Gas Industry all we needed is the Govt to fix the refineries and we are good to go.Is that too much to ask for?Is it Rocket science to have a functional refinery?Why should the People pay for the cost of govt inefficiency.Why?You claim you want to deregulate,and Mr Bubu is also living the same type of flamboyant lifestyle GEJ lived..Still kept the same type of Presidential Jets,Had over a Billion Naira to fed in a year even more than that of GEJ.

1] Jonathan sold Petrol at N87 while Buhari is selling at average of N300 & above, yet Buhari supporters think Jonathan was more corrupt and wasteful.

2] When Jonathan Budgeted N1bn for feeding in Aso-Rock in 2011, and N517m in 2015, APC cried wolf and now Buhari's budget for same is N1.7billion. Yet Buharists are mute and still think GEJ was more corrupt and wasteful.

3] Jonathan spent N1.4bn to service all presidential jets in one year while Buhari spends N6bn on same in 6month yet Buharists
think GEJ was more corrupt and wasteful.

4] Jonathan gave more funding to education while Buhari's 2016
budget favours Ministry of information more than education
yet Buharists think GEJ was more corrupt/wasteful.

5] Jonathan spent an average of N8million on each international
trip while Buhari spends an average of N55million on each
international trip, yet Buharists think GEJ was more corrupt and

6] Jonathan created Over 5.8millon jobs in 5yrs while buhari has

7] Jonathan made Nigeria's economy the best in Africa and No 1 investment destination & quadrupled our GDP in 4yrs while Buhari has dragged Nigeria's economy down to 14th position in ranking in just 7months.

8] Jonathan left Naira exchange rate @ N185 to $1 but Buhari with his Adama and Eve economics has destroyed the Naira in just 8 months which now sells at N315 to $1.

9] It took Jonathan less than 2weeks to select his cabinet including foreign based technocrats while it took Buhari 6months to do same. Even with indicted people and no single economist among the 36 names.

10] Buhari claimed that subsidy was fraud (Who is subsidizing who@) but buhari has spent N1.2trillion on fuel subsidy in the last 5 months and still no fuel while all Buharists have suddenly gone dumb.

11] Buhari/APC accused Jonathan of corruption but have not been able to pin one stain on him, while Muhammadu Buhari himself followed the crowd that entered into the #DasukiGate.

12] Under Jonathan freedom and liberty of Nigerians was not determined by party affiliation, but today under Buhari his perceived enemies and political opponents are leveled with frivolous allegations of crimes and intimidated with either the EFCC or the DSS.

13] Buhari does not have an Honorary WAEC but bags an
illegal Honorary (Ph.D) from a university that have no PhD student and Not approved by NUC and yet Buharists respect his NEPA Bill more than GEJ's PhD.

If you remember the time when Mikel was without a club (at a time when Man Utd and Chelsea were battling over him), he was in Naija, training with guys!!! If his career had somehow ended then, would you be using him as an example today? He would also probably be begging today because prior to getting signed to Chelsea, he played for a small club that probably paid little!!!

Opabunmi was a fantastic player who unfortunately had a very unsuccessful career!!! There was not enough to invest with and moreover, the little he had was what went into catering for himself and his family!!! I listened to the story of how he spent all his savings on his eye problem without any positive result!!! It was the same eye problem that made him lose his position in his club and that eventually saw him back in Nigeria!!!

Dont mind people..They would be shouting wetin he use he's money do when in essence they did not know what he went through..I know how the issue of he's eye problem started..its being long he's being battling it..For we folks in Ibadan,we know it was just a matter of time before he goes broke..No matter how rich you might be,if you got a health challenge,your whole money might vanish within a twinkle of an eye and you would be at the mercy of people..Opabunmi visited so many places looking for solution,he was even duped countless number of times..

I pray we wont have such..However,i am not saying those who got money should lavish it,however,people do get problem..Opabunmi had one and he seems not to have being able to conquer it
