I would not bother myself much if i were you. I mean, you submitted your application already, except you are willing to cancel the application.

But like you said, having an amount come into an account that has alot of money in it already should not be a problem. Except your work doesn't have anyway of making such at once. I don't see any major problem, if you had not submitted, maybe an explanation would have made it easier but you have.lol so we move!!!

You will be fine jare.

The account is very busy. Infact the statement was about 30pages. On the same soa, there is even a lump sum deposit if 2.4m in January.

LOL! Don't be, last i checked, there's no VO on this platform. Everybody shares based on experience or what "should" work. The best applications have been denied too. Keep trusting God and hope for the best. Meanwhile, start checking for the cost of your flight and make other arrangements. That's how faith works. ALL THE BEST!!!

Bukella:

we in this together. Also 2 weeks. I joined nairaland after applying. stuff I am seeing here makes me scared. I pray for God's mercy and favour.

Thank you very much. I'll just wait till i'm invited. Bless up!

Returning from Canada would help. It’s best to take a medical examination when you are called if you feel there is ample time for your resumption. Upfront medicals is for those who feel they might be out of time for resumption. It’s best to wait for medical call so you do not incur unnecessary expenses should God forbid you are not granted and you have already gone ahead and taken medicals. Each application stands on its merit, not whether you have taken medicals and passed already. Best wishes!!

This doesn't really sound good. I thought i heard things are now pretty fast. By now, you should have gotten a final decision. let's hope for the best, maybe after sometime, you may need to ask them what's going on.

Medical is a must if you applied for study permit(intend studying in Canada for more than 6 months). Wait for cic to send your medical mail
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by harde116: 12:09pm On May 03, 2018
Hello everyone.

Please is it a MUST that medicals must be done before you get your TRV? I applied less than 2weeks already and i chose to wait till i'm requested to do the medicals, even though it may take longer, but really, i'm not in a rush. I believe there's still time.

Have there been exemptions? I just returned from Canada in March. Could that help too?

I also read someone's post of not hearing anything after 9weeks of application. These delays still happen or there could be a reason.

I'm already thinking two weeks is too long sef without hearing anything.LOL Maybe because i got my visiting visa in 2weeks.

Please your responses would be appreciated.

May God answer the desires of our hearts according to HIS will.

Thank you very much. It seems this Police clearance is necessary i guess.

Please if you don't mind, can you help out with the list of these "additional documents".

Or they are not specific like the SOP and Police report?

kylexy61:

Your document checklist is the same as mine and everyone else's. There is no problem here. Upload SOP, Police Clearance and other additional documents in the "Client Information" field.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by harde116: 11:24am On Apr 11, 2018
Thank you very much. I thought all them SOP, police report etc were necessary documents that had their own tabs. Apparently, they "may" not be as necessary if i'm not making a mistake. However, they "may" only support your application.

I'll use that tab wisely. Thank you for your help.

jnyuwa02:

What forms are they talking about that you didn’t see? There is a little question mark Icon on each of the things stated on profile of things to upload. If you click that question mark Icon, it tells you the list of documents to upload there. SOP is not specified on the profile and should be uploaded with additional documents in the client information area. There are no exemptions based on having a valid Canadian visiting visa. You will have to qualify for a student visa based on a different scale of merit and requirements. I have seen someone with valid Canadian visiting visa denied a student visa, so approach it with the uttermost care.

Ps: I will log on to the profile later when I have time and answer all these questions about forms. Seems to be that all these things should be self explanatory.

PLEASE HELP OUT OOOOOOOO!!!

harde116:
ATTENTION! ATTENTION!! ATTENTION!!!

Hello everyone.

It's been really helpful on this platform but i appear to be really confused. I just started my application today after i got the letter of acceptance from my school and i paid the first deposit already.

However, i don't seem to see all the things you guys talk about here on my documents checklist. Not even SOP, the many other forms people mention here or any other document. I still have a valid canadian visa and i just returned last month. Could this be the reason for the exemptions?

MY DOCUMENTS CHECKLIST

*Application for study permit made outside of Canada (IMM1294)
*Letter of Acceptance
*Passport
*Proof of means of financial support
*Digital photo
*Family information (IMM5645)
*APplication for a temporary resident visa from outside canada (IMM5257)
*Client information

And of course, the fees.

COULD THESE BE EVERYTHING?

I applied for my visiting visa myself and i uploaded only the documents they required on my checklist.

Please guide me, i hope i'm not on the wrong page, or is this what everyone is seeing?

Yes i have. I guess the regular...

Why do you want to do the program?

Are you ready for the total expenses?

How relevant is it to what you do currently?

Why the school?

Depending on the level of study, they may ask where you'd like to major in, be sure and have your reasons.

Be sure to have your own questions too. I don't know your field, i could have shared more info.

All the best.

Please has anyone done an interview with a Canadian school before? what kind of questions should one expect? what is the best way to prepare and ace the interview?

I have. i used the card option though and my VISA card has always worked fine. It takes about 5-7days before your money reflects in the account though.

Pls I want to find out who has made use of Flywire platform of recent to make payment. I just tried using it for Pre-admission Deposit payment in Canada dollars and chose Payment option "Debit/Credit Card NGN", but transaction was not successful.

I guess the process is now pretty fast. I thought mine was really fast, they requested for my passport in about 16days as against the 93days processing time i was seeing on the website, i didnt know there was a faster one. Passport dropped though, expecting my pickup message.

Adeneyagrofeeds:
Good morning to you all. I'm full of joy right now. I applied for Canada visit visa last week Dec 12 through paper route, Dec 15 I received a msg from vfs stated my processed passport is ready for collection, Kai I was really scared, just 3days for visa processing, where some people has been waiting over 8weeks yet no response from the vfs. Inshort I went to the vfs today hoping maybe my application was rejected and to God be the glory I was approved with 2years multiple visa.

You guys here are really helpful.

You will have to fill different forms, but make sure its one application and you should be the primary applicant. There's a stage at the beginning where they ask if anyone is accompanying you. I guess that is where you include your family.

Thanks dear and please I want to know if i will fill 3 different online form for me, my wife and son since my daughter wont be included as a US citizen. Please help me in this form issue, or are we filling one form
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by harde116: 2:14pm On Jul 07, 2017
Oh ok. Great! I'll secure my admission first and then come here for the process. As regards portfolio, i think everything online says that about me.
Thank you very much.
jnyuwa02:

Just follow the school's instruction. You don't need to be writing a thesis proposal like us and finding supervisors. Yours I think would be more in the line of presenting a portfolio. Once you get admitted, in obtaining a visa, you can come down to our level. It's the same process for everyone, some a little more vetting than others, especially the would be pilots.

Hello everyone, i am kinda new here, but i have read quite a number of things on here and its really helpful. I'm a photographer and filmmaker, Google also says this about me. I already travelled to the US for a short course in filmmaking in 2015. Now i am considering going to canada for a fulltime course of at least a year, checked out a couple of schools, made my choice already and i am about to hit the application process. However, the rules that apply for people that want to go for normal masters and all, do they necessarily apply to me? or mine is even harder.
From the filmschool wesites, everything just appears very easy...Really dont know wassup
I would appreciate your answers to this.
Thanks
