Got this fron Stanbic IBTC. Am thinking of forgetting about the whole recruitment process. It's a year already and no tangible info as regards the recruitment. They keep putting up adverts for recruitment when they are yet to conclude the ongoing ones. SMH

didnt actually say it to discourage u guys, i said it cuz i am aware sure of the whole thing and need you guys to pray alongside with me. cuz suspension can be lifted in just one week. One of the ED's word that crowned the suspension was that it won't be lifted until there is a change in the sales report of the bank and various measures have been put on ground to ensure this. Even the operations guys are involved in sales drive already as part of their KRA, so i trust God to lift this suspension soonest guys. Lets keep praying.

well a CSO is an operations staff, they just got restructured this year, they were formerly called enquiry officers. they are very important to the bank at the moment cuz a restructuring is going on about them. they are mostly BTO 2. Dont really know much about new entries tho... more CSO's are needed at the moment throughout the bank just like the management has mandated, might probably have two each in a branch soon.

better grab it so ur recruitment can be fast, i wish i had your opportunity. you are a graduate trainee, they choose where you fit in plus now thats where they need people

I applied for a graduate trainee position with Stanbic but the interview invite shows 'Client Service Officer'. Is it Stanbic's norm to choose job roles for candidates?

@hardeyswaggz, so what do we do? Forget about ever applying to stanbic. How did you get this feedback? The last time i checked, they said they were waiting for management approval. This wait ehhhhhhhhhhh......

that's why i said we should pray the management changes her mind. they will always say they are waiting for management approval of course, isn't that what we need? if you notice, all offer letters dropping on here has been operations applicants (ENQUIRIES OFFICERS, ASSET CUSTODIANS). asking me how i got the info....call me on...08128697518

we plenty die!...the sad news is that the new management that came on board around november last year was really mad at the december sales report of the bank that came out around january. as a result, an embago was placed on onboarding private bankers, business bankers and personal bankers till there is a significant improvement. as a matter of fact more than half of the contract sales guys were disengaged throughout the bank nationwide so attention will shift on the present personal and business bankers in the bank.
so let's pray the management changes her mind. o ti su wa bayii...since last year!!!

omo na waa oh..see @WenHigh wey just do medicals 31st of dec. dey celebrate offer letter so fast....and 7,8,9months ago medicals invitees still dey bench. i celebrate with you my brother, please give more glory to God even if u don't cherish the job cuz thats a good thing God just gave u. and trust me when i say so. i tap into it by God's grace, i will be the next to celebrate here! PATIENCE IS THE ANSWER. THE RESTRUCTURING GOING ON THE BANK ESPECIALLY BRANCHES AT THE MOMENT IS SERIOUS AND HAS KEPT MOST OF US ON PENDING. BUT WHAT AMAZES ME MOST IS THAT MOST OF THESE HR GUYS WHEN YOU CALL THEM WILL TELL YOU THAT THEY HAVE LEFT STANBIC.

i quite agree with you sir, my experience on my recent interview was somehow unusual, i got in and the first question after asking for my name was 'HOW MUCH DO U WANT TO BE PAID ON THIS JOB'? it was too early for me, it felt like the interview was over already and got me off balance. so many things came to my head and i mentioned a figure. yours faithfully, they wrote it down. i felt i shlda said more maybe......#smiles.....

I think the idea of giving a range may be detrimental sometimes..
For instance, I was negotiating with an employer sometimes ago and he asked me how much am i looking up to..
Yours sincerely gave him a range like 60-90, after the whole thing the man offered me the least value of the range which is 60k.

I realized that if i should have given him an exact figure like 90k, the man would have agreed because he needed my service badly ..

so giving a range can be funny sometimes

When did u get this mail dear? if u got it today then thats like 3wks interval btw when you were interviewed and now. so we july 10 batch should expect ours this week or next depending on the response, success or regret. #ichosesuccess

i am worried.. someone payed for my applied for my SEVIS fee in the US since last sunday and its yet to reflect on their website, my interview is nextweek. what do i do guys...the status kept writing not paid. its 5days already

bro my own bank statement that was used by the school i applied to was that of march. that month had high inflow from my sponsor. what do i do as my interview is later this month. do i still print it to date? cuz the inflow in the account now is low oh...there is no business

I guess you mean the bank statement was printed a month before the interview. I will advice you print a more recent bank statement, because your current balance also matters along side the cash flow in the account. Try to print the statement few days to your interview date if possible, just to be on a safer side.

gurus, from what i have read so far, i can see that one of the supporting documents at the embassy includes bank statement of my sponsor. i initially wanted to go with a reference letter from the bank only. thanks to u guys. But my questions are>>>>

1. from when do i start printing the statements of accounts, i only made use of march SOA for my admission and ma interview is this month.?

2. i am going for an undergraduate course tho i have a degree already, kindly give me insights on how to tackle this.

3. my school never requested for any standard examination like TOEFL, SAT etc whatsoever so i didnt even bother doing one. i am really worried as many pple i have read about here had these results one way or the other.

pls help......

i hope the passmark is 50%...but come to think of it...12 questions to 36 questions...same time rate tho. can we say they will base it on same mark? i hope my prayers work out sha... #team50%verbal50%numeracy
