SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Hardrive(m): 9:23pm On Nov 16, 2025
We should never play with one striker again .

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Hardrive(m): 9:03pm On Nov 16, 2025
We can no longer rely on 4-3-3 that is what got us in this position. Revert to the formation that has gotten you the result.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Hardrive(m): 8:50pm On Nov 16, 2025
The last 20 minutes was trash. Stick to playing with 2 strikers.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Hardrive(m): 8:43pm On Nov 16, 2025
Coach remove lookman we might lose, bring in akor Adams. Let Moses Simon come in. The coach is experimenting with the tactics at this point. They will make osihmen get tired by 60th minutes

Our squad list should have been out by now. What are they preparing.

yinkeys:
Osimhen
Moffi
Arokodare
Orban/Adams
Personally, I'd pick 5. Osihmen, Arokodare, Onuachu, Kelechi and Dessers. Why ihenacho because he is needed to do the job of playing just behind the strikers. What chukweze and out of position lookman can't do. Onuachu because when we might be faced with a difficult situation of needed a goal, his height and form would be required. Dessers if we have to play with 2 strikers . All are in form at the moment. Chukwueze is not up to speed but will still be selected.

I wish there was a way to reach out to the super eagles technical team or even the psychologist working with the players. They need to start incorporating the dark arts of football.
We are always reacting physically instead of psychologically . If you believe the opponents has done anything you feel that if verified by the referee or var, you need to learn how to simulate a reaction that can draw attention for things to positively go in your favour. That is what the Moroccans and the north Africans have been doing for years.

I hope this gets to the players. Only osihmen does this to perfection of all the players who have played for the country. It should be a learned skill for as long as they play football professionally. I wish this can get to the players or anyone around them.

Stanley Nwabali subbed off injured 🆚 Richards Bay FC
We have a big problem on our hands. Who is a reliable back up to nwabali now that okoye is likely to miss the world cup qualifiers with the ban.

This is the question I asked sometimes ago. But I hope he comes back quickly. We only look at our starting 11 and not the alternatives, just in situations like this.

Going forward chidera ejuke deserves a look in.

Lookman and chukwueze should start practicing direct free kicks. We should be able to rely on the two of them in that department. It is about time. We need a reliable back up goalkeeper for the suspended okoye. I fear that nwabali might accumulate yellow card and we would be scrambling for a goal keeper.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Hardrive(m): 10:02pm On Jul 26, 2025
Well the coach can redeem himself if he plays with 3 forward. Take out ijamilusi and abiodun, bring in asisat/onumonu and echegini. Also more crosses into the box.

If we are going to win against Zambia, we would need to play a counter attacking game. If we do that we win and avoid what happened against Botswana and morroco.
If the coach continues playing the typical Nigerian football, then nothing for us. This way the Zambians would be forced to come out and play thereby exposing their terrible goalkeeper.

[quote author=lovewins post=136081328]Oh

I didn't know Oshoala stormed off the pitch when she was substituted in the last game. Many obviously didn't know because no one here brought it up.

Osasu asked the coach about it and here was his response:

journalist is a very fantastic instigator while the coach is a brilliant saboteur. The coach refuse to understand that if you mismanage this situation with oshoala, the rest of the players will respond with animosity. This is where man management will save you but I am sure of one thing, he would get himself sacked. The job is to frustrate the players into a reaction to get rid of them. Where you need a cool head to navigate the terrible and planned officiating the morrocans have set up for the tournament is when you are having problems with the players.
With time, there won't be foreign players both men and women for us to call upon anymore because they are going to choose other nationalities ahead of Nigeria.
I realized that many so called Nigerian journalist are being incentivized to promote anything local in Nigerian football( coaches, players) even if they are mediocre. They are all part of the system dragging us back.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Hardrive(m): 12:28am On Jul 11, 2025
At this point we stand no chance since we are going to be facing either morroco or Senegal. Zambia will top the group.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Hardrive(m): 11:42pm On Jul 10, 2025
1. The coach should be SACKED.Not intelligent.
2. Why play Toni Payne and ajibade out of position in consecutive matches.
3. I won't use abiodun for the remainder of the tournament. Red card waiting to happen.
4. Stop barking instructions at the players every move of the game. He is putting pressure on them unnecessarily.
5. Going into any major tournament henceforth. We must do away with MISSION STATEMENTS. IT IS PUTTING THE GIRLS UNDER IMMENSE PRESSURE. i.e mission x. This is the reason why a team who didn't lose a game in regulation time at the world cup is unrecognizable from a team playing like a Nigerian Women's Premier League team.
In conclusion, the reason why the girls are all playing poorly is because they are UNDER IMMENSE PRESSURE.

Guys, let's pay attention to this kid Noah Adedeji- Sternberg. A proper option for us on the wings. He plays for Genk. Tolu Arokodale can be an agent for us with this.
