1. We need shooters in our team.
2. We also need to approach teams from outside Africa differently. Meaning we have to be faster going forward.
3. We need a powerful striker with strength not durosimi lanky and slow.
4. This was how the game deserved to end.

We need a replacement for Moses Simon and zaidu sanusi. We need another player with the strength of Akor Adams.

The way Femi Azeez dey shine for this Unity Cup, I hope it won't be like Cyriel Dessers who was hot during the last Unity Cup only to disappear during the qualifiers and AFCON?

God abeg long may this current Azeez form continue.
The reason why most of our strikers fizzled out Boniface, dessers, arokodare etc was because many were not given the opportunity of playing 2 upfront. The coach was trying to play them like osimhen. In such situations, goals would be hard to come by and Nigerians don't have the patience for that.

We are most likely going to struggle in this wafcon that serves as a world cup qualifier. But if the coach needs to redeem himself, he has to find a powerful striker to complement ihezuo for the wafcon. Someone with physical presence.
If we keep playing with one striker it would be difficult for us. Secondly, we have to play with 2 strikers going forward. Drop one goalkeeper for a striker. Unless, no world cup for super falcons. Onyedineze is not it. No speed nor strength.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Hardrive(m): 4:09pm On Feb 13
No preliminary list for super falcons yet.

You guys should watch atletico Madrid to see how simeone makes use of lookman and see difference between him and Chelle. Lookman has a free role to roam from right wing to second striker depending on the flow of the game meanwhile Chelle would only leave him in the same position. This is what Chelle should be watching. Me I just want the best for our national teams, I don't hate the coach.

Please who is this player Kareem Tunde that plays for levante. We have far too many players playing in Europe these days that all of them unfortunately won't play for the super eagles.
We can map out 5 players playing in every position on the pitch or even more. We need more national team competitions. Just Crazy.

If he had done this and Morocco had scored, I'm sure you'd be the first person to suggest some other option that he could have done. The man at home watching always knows better than the coach no matter what the coach does.
Your take is just like when the country is bad and we decide to go and protest , you now say "what if they shoot us". Then the situation remains the same or gets worse eventually. You won't improve anything with this mindset.

Won't you be happy with the football that we could have played knowing that we created chances to score and still lost the match. Let's just hope we don't find ourselves in this situation again.

Morocco na Benin abi. Okay na
What did the Senegalese do differently ? They contained both full backs using both their wingers and their full backs. The game is such that both sides would create chances to score, the team that takes theirs wins the game. It is for us to create more chances than our opponents. It doesn't matter if it is Morocco or any other team.

4-2-4 abi
No ,more like 4-4-2 same way we played Benin Republic in uyo. The easiest way to go about making changes like this is to prepare the players before hand. Explain to them that if a situation occurs when we can't play our normal game, this is going to be the next option for us.
Let me use the game between the super falcons and England for example, the coach realized that the English team would know how his team was going to play so he switched things up, with that the English team didn't know how they were going to react.
You have to have it at the back of your mind that others are watching and looking for how to stop you.

Pisa leads 2-0 omo.
Can you guys see the importance of a good coach. He saw that there was no fluidity in the game and so he brought in di Marco on the wings and everything changed within 5 minutes. Same thing I was saying when we played Morocco . Where we needed chukwueze and lookman on both flanks to supply akor and osihmen.
If you notice something is wrong in the first half there is nothing stopping you from making changes in the first half.

Some other players that should get a look in Chuba Akpom = Second striker back up for akor.
Bob Murphy omoregbe = Right wing option or possible replacement for Moses Simon.
Victor Eletu= Time to time call up to get used to the eagles setup.
Sani Suleiman= Replacement for Moses Simon
Gift Orban= Lookman's back up behind the 2 strikers.

Imagine the morrocan fa president Farouk Lekja running for the office of CAF president 5 years down the line maybe after a successful 2030 fifa world cup co hosting. African football would be at his mercy.

Are you actually sure people don't understand? Because right from time even before Éric Chelle, the Super Eagles always play better in the second halves of games, and under Éric Chelle it's now almost balanced, we are always on top of our game for the whole match.

Even Egypt we played yesterday, the second half was better than the first, we had more possession and Egypt didn't get a shot on target. We just had two goals disallowed, of which the first had no business being disallowed in the first place.

Of our 14 goals scored in this tournament, 9 came in the second half, so what are you saying my lord?
I meant to say after the subs have been made in the second half of matches, I struggle to understand what the team plays , not the second half per say. I hope you understand me now.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Hardrive(m): 10:14am On Jan 18
The major problem Eric Chelle has is that if he is faced with a problem on the field and he needs to change something, his solution is to change the positions of the players on the pitch rather than change the approach to the game to make it easy for the team to play well.

Our stats shows that for everytime we have 2 strikers playing up front our chances of scoring a goal increases. At the same time, our gameplay is now very dynamic in that we can play with the ball on the ground as well as in the air within the course of the game.

Anytime the game is not working for us we have to switch to making sure the strikers get the ball in the air. The second half of most of our matches has been very poor. Everybody talking about how our defense is solid don't know that the best form of defense is attack. If your attackers are on top of their game for 90+ minutes, your defense would have less to do.

Our national teams are edging closer to being unstoppable at every level of football if we get it right with the senior national team.

If you want to know how to be a good problem solver as a football fan of your team, most especially when your team is finding it difficult to score goals and win games, your check if your team is playing to the strength of your best players on the pitch

Where you have good headers of the ball find a way to play the game in a way that would suit them. It is only when that has happened that you can say the player is not good and needs to go based on ability. E.g onuachu. Not using lookman , a player who needs freedom to play his game behind two strikers , in the position of a second striker.

I'm sure a lot of people don't understand what we play in the second half of most matches.

The coach struggles to put in the right players in the right position. Nigerians would now think the players are not good. Eric Chelle needs to go back and learn this job.

Eric Chelle is not ok in the head. He has continued from where he stopped last match. Putting the players everywhere.

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Hardrive(m): 6:25pm On Jan 17
The coach still has a lot of work to do. The coach now needs to correct his changes by removing Simon for osihmen and dele bashiru for iwobi. To make the game balanced.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Hardrive(m): 6:19pm On Jan 17
If osihmen is to enter this match he should come in for Moses Simon to maintain the 2 at the top. Any mistake in that means the coach still doesn't know what he is doing.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Hardrive(m): 12:53am On Jan 15
We complained about using dele bashiru in the wrong position only for the coach to make the same mistakes again. Not that chukwueze had a bad tournament up till this point. The coach doesn't know how to do "in- game" tactical change. Basically, when faced with a problem during the match he won't know how to solve it.

One journalist should tell him to explain his substitution decision to Nigerians.

Man this is a ridiculous take and you know it. You can't prepare well enough for a penalty shoot out . Where he could have had an effect on the game you refuse to bring him on.
