Hi guys.
Didn't find this topic on time but am sure am not too late.
What could be wrong here?
The room is always damp and steamy esp when all the doors and windows are shut.
Now the under decking is having water droplets.

This structure is 14 to 16sqm sqm and it consumed 14bags of cement to deck.

Is there anything can be done to rectify this?

The top has two brand new water tankers sitting on it and is partially tiled.

You have water tank sitting directly on top of this Slab (decking)

The issue is from the way it was cast, you cast it like a normal slab that will be rooted later....

Solution you need to Damp roof that slab and provide a good drainage for any water that will be dropping on that slab

Two thing contributed to the final finishing of the plastering/rendering.

1. Level of workmanship
2. Nature of material ( sand)

1. To get well smooth surface level of workmanship determines this in most cases.

2. Nature of the sand used will determine the final look of the plaster when dry up, some plaster sand are yellowish in nature and no mater what you do the final look will still look yellowish.
Some plaster sand also are grey in nature this will looks like cement colour after it drys up even in wet form you will notice it.

Here are few pics of what I did in the past and presently

who handles your plastering for you

Bro I don admit my error in choice of word but no one in his right senses will transact with you that way for the first time. Trust is something you build. Once again, I'm sorry I labeled you a scammer as I chose the wrong words if truly you're genuine. I can't simply accept an international passport as evidence of trust. Thanks and God bless

offering his international passport is a sign of trust to begin with, because I see it as a security risk... You can track him and get any info about him with that Passport, even down to his BVN ..

Betnomore:
I'm sorry for my wrong choice of words but if you checked my subsequent posts, you will realize I explained in details why I felt so. My only advice which you can decide to take or not is to change your mode of operation so as to enable escrow for the ease of mind of your customers.

Every Seller can decide on his own mode of operation, if you are not comfortable with it, you can move own... How can you call him a scammer because you are not comfortable with his mode of operation... Nawa for you oo..

You better go and edit your post to an emoji...

Dennis3D:
I did mine at Eti Osa on Walton Gate, Landwey Properties for about 220K. That was 2018. It's not outrageously high if he charges 250K in 2020 which I believe you may want to negotiate. Every professional has their own standard. That you get something very cheap doesn't make it a standard scale for works carried out .

I think we should learn to use words appropriately not to make a professional service look like been outrageous.

I may not wish to join words with people arguing here about professional fees and all that sorts. However, if one is sat down. The person would be schooled appropriately.

Nairaland thread is meant to proffer advice and guide, not a place to call out those who carry out their works professionally as outrageous because someone else decides to do for far less.

Services works are subject to some factors not explained here in details.

Thanks

You guys should try out Lagos state Material Testing Lab... They should give you a convenient quote

Please, Can you make me understand why Custom will get hold of the phone at all.. and even demand you pay such amount. is it contraband??

Just tell the seller not to indicate the reall price on the package

kingazubuike and 25tolife....

Seriously your childish qualms is becoming unbearable I swear,...

You guys should take your fight elsewhere and leave this thread alone...

Maybe it's time the mods lock the two of you out of here...

For all I know, you might even be friends playing with everybody's intelligence... I don't even care...

Just let us enjoy this Group in peace...

Open a thread and start an all out war there...

I know you will most likely reply me in a stupid way, just know that I will avoid the urge to reply and shalaye
