We had both cladding done, the finished woods were imported from South Africa and the external was factory treated, so much so that water and sun has zero effect on them.

Offcourse it was expensive and I'm yet to see that available in Nigeria.

Wood cladding can be used both inside and outside, however there are those for inside and those for outside.

South Africa is one country that has gotten this sorted out... Offcourse the outside cladding has undertone serial treatments.
