How did your technician change the oil? For how long was the car parked before the oil change was done? Why did you have to change the gear oil in the first place and how long have you used the car before servicing the gear?

All these are important factors to look at before one can actually know what has gone wrong.

He drained it tru the sump, the car was parked for over 2hrs bfre oil change was done..... last time i changed oil was 1yr and it has just exceeded 30000 miles before this recent oil change....

TYPE 111 and it was drained thru the sump

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME... I RECENTLY CHANGE MY GEAR OIL(TOYOTA CAMRY 05) AND THE FILTER WAS EQUALLY REMOVED FOR CLEASING... AFTER FIXING IT BACK AND NEW GEAR OIL WAS POURED IN THE CAR, DRIVING HAS NOT BEEN SMOOTH... ONCE THE CAR CHANGES INTO FIRST GEAR, CHANGING TO THE 2ND GEAR BECOMES A PROBLEM, INSTEAD CAR WILL KEEP ACCELERATING NOT UNTIL I STOP PRESSING THE CLUTCH AND GIVE IT A BREAK BEFORE IT CHANGES TO 2ND GEAR BUT ONCE ITS IN SECOND GEAR, IT CHANGES TO OTHER GEARS COMFORTABLY... i am in lagos now but car is in UROMI EDO STATE

It all started with over heating and the gasket got burnt after which was fixed by the mechanic, Only for me to go on another journey of 2hrs and noticed the temperature was rising again, i managed to get home.... Few hours later, only for me to start the car and it never start again till date(over 2wks now) i called a mechanic to check it, he suspected that the timing was jumping which he corrected, only for him to see that it wasnt supply current to the plug and he said its a rewire's job.... Now the reiwre has checked all the fuse and all are okay...in the process of trouleshooting he had to check the brain box and realised the wires have melted together..he seperated the wires and ask me to start the car, yet he didnt come up which made him condemed the brain box, I bought another brain box and that one just got burnt too....PLEASE GURU'S IN THE HOUSE...KINDLY ASSIST ON WHAT TO DO PLEASE

the car was scanned and the only thing the guy said was that i need to change the brain box... Now i got a new brain box and its burnt again

Go and scan your car. Computer will tell you the exact problem except if your car is old model without OBD. I don,t trust road side mechanics.

3) u can plan yoursef for the month with public transport but with private car, you cant cos most times, unexpectd does happen
