Queenfunlola: I don’t understand this medical booking o, I tried with iom, I messaged the mail and was sent a link to fill in my details which I did and after verifying my mail (that’s where the problem is) I couldn’t download appointment details, it keeps saying “error encounter” PLEASE HELP Pls use Qlife. And if you’re booking appointments with IOM try do that via email. That’s what I did and I got an appointment date within 5hrs of sending a mail to them. But I got a closer appointment date with qlife so I ignore that of IOM |

Ijiimmayi: Good evening guys. Plz I need help with this. My wife studied botany in school( she applied for nursing and was given botany normal Naija way) now after graduation she was a teacher for 2/3 yrs. Now she wants to go back to studying nursing in Canada. Will this have any issue in convincing the VO? Does she need to do PGD or directly BSC nursing. She is currently 27yrs old Thanks You don’t have any problem as I’m talking from experience. I studied Microbiology ( both microbiology and Botany are in the same department Biological sciences) and I have gotten my visa for Nursing. Age isn’t a factor as I’m well over 30. You just have to address things well in your SOP |

Legitmenaija: Thank you.
One question please.
If you are to submit your passport directly to the Abuja office and also pick up, do you still need to pay the #9410 fee? If you are to submit at Abuja and you did your biometrics at Lagos then you have to pay for transmissions and one way delivery of your passport. They don’t allow pickup of passport for now |

Welsh2np: Just a quick one please. I know this subject has been discussed here times and over again, I just can’t seem to find the thread rn.
If you completed your biometrics in VAC Lagos, is it a must to submit your passport to Lagos upon PPR?
(Note: the person who wants to submit the passport is neither in Lagos nor in Abj)
Secondly, someone kindly help update with the passport submission information, please. It’s not compulsory to submit your passport to VAC Lagos. The only advantage is that you don’t have to pay transmission fee if you submit at the same center you did your biometric. Secondly, just follow this Just print the ppr letter and submit along side your passport,a copy of the data page of your passport and the biometric slip at VFS, if you don't reside in the state where you had your biometrics you can send it via courier make sure you pay for two way passport submission Information after Study Permit Approval. For Lagos Office: Walk into any DHL or UPS store, you can google & check for the one's near you. This is the Address you will mail your documents to: canada Visa Application Centre Ground Floor, The Manor Plot 110, Admiral Ayinla Way, Lekki Phase 1 Lagos Nigeria Documents to go with to the DHL Office: - Two photocopies of your international passport data page - Your International passport itself - passport request letter - Biometric confirmation slip (the document you were given after u did your Biometrics) -Two copies of signed VFS consent forms The VFS consent form is available at https://www./vfsconsentformPut everything in a Big Brown Envelope, Write your FULL NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NO. & Email Address on the Envelope boldly When you go to DHL, also indicate that you want a two way courier service. SomBaby: Hello... please anyone/solo traveler coming in to Brandon for probably Brandon university or Assiniboine college for the fall and looking for where to stay temporarily (1week or 2) should please DM. Let's help u save money on Airbnb. It's just for a few days and it's completely free... But it's not my decision alone...my flatmates and I decided to give back to the society by harbouring someone for free for a week or two.
Preferably a male (a female too can as long as she can manage) as the person has to occupy our living room during the period of stay
About us; we are a group of three(2ladies and a guy) sharing an apartment (3bedroom) we met here on thread 20 before our journey to Canada last year December. I am a lady from Anambra (Catholic) the second lady is from Benin (Muslim) while the guy is from Delta(Redeemed).
Thanks Pls I’m coming to Brandon University and I will appreciate if I can contact you about this |

Yesterday, i was paying for my study permit fee and biometrics (using a Naira visa card) but it was declined.
My own dollar card i applied for is not ready.
I have someone who kindly agreed to let me use his dollar card, i have where to buy the dollar but ENTERING THE BANK to deposit the dollar is a major problem as it is nearly impossible to enter the bank these days.
Please how do i make this payment?
Please help. You can’t pay application fee with your naira card. It’s either you get a dollar card or find someone who has it. Try to enter the bank and deposit this money |

babineli: Hello Gurus,
Please what’s your advice on this. I have a dollar account that have been running and currently have about $800 in the account. However I have $1800 dollars cash in my hands and I’m thinking of going to the bank to deposit the money. This will reflect in my dollar account as CASH deposit by me. Do I still have to give explanation of CASH deposit? And if yes? What’s the best explanation to give. I just want to submitt the dollar account along side with my main account where I have my living expenses. Just like a boost for me. I will advise that if you want to deposit the money do it now. Cos it goin to look suspicious if you deposit the money now and print your bank statement few days after depositing the money and you can deposit it gradually not one time with different names |

FolamiAsap: Are micro-finance banks statements valid as proof of funds for Canada students visa application? We really don’t kn how IRCC works. We’ve seen instances of people that used micro finance bank as POF and they got approved and people who used commercial banks and got denied. Just make sure I’m whatever you do, do it right. Don’t use fake bank statement. Used Microfinance banks that are verifiable. I used 2 micro finance bank plus commercial banks and my visa got approved |

gonegreen: Good morning. Please, I want to ask what information regarding your Study Permit application one needs to share with Qlife during Upfront medical screening.
Meanwhile, I have submitted my SP application, and I have an appointment with Qlife for Upfront medicals next week. I will appreciate your response. Thanks. When you get there you tell them it’s upfront medical, they goin to give you a form to fill. I believe all you need to take along is your application No, UCI and passport |

towseen008: I did the medicals upon request already, I meant after the medicals did you have to raise a webform to send the slip given to you at qlife ? I don’t think so. You can give a call to Q-Life after 2-3 days and ask if they have sent your result to IRCC. I did mine 1st March they told me it got sent 5th March when I called them 6th March and my medical was updated 7th March |

I went to their website to book an appointment, after you picked a date a page will pop up where you register then make payment. But I think booking of appointment is always on Monday 8AM tho the portal got opened around 7:52 AM cos I have been on it since 6:00 AM. You can try to book an appointment now thou cos I might be wrong about the timing of the appointment |

Habeebboy: Good morning to you all. I will like to ask this important question.
Is upfront medical important before visa can be approved? Or does doing upfront medical give advantage in getting visa approved because I have noticed that many people that get approval on this platform did upfront medical Upfront medical doesn’t guarantee your visa will be approved or not. The only difference is when your application gets to the medical request stage it get updated instead of IRCC sending a medical request. But letting IRCC send a medical request before goin for medical makes you have at least 90% assurance that your visa will be approved cos most people who got refused doesn’t receive medical request |

Oluwaloniglory7: Hello Harkintem , I can see how you are asking for how to submit your passport for visa?
I noticed Canada student thread really lack of answering vital questions people asked, other Nairaland thread like Uk visiting visa or student visa didn’t do that way.
Many people on this Canada student thread are using back door billing innocent and poor members of this thread on what they can explain or teach them how to do.
It will better we should emulate other Nairaland thread by solving others members question, not by posting visa alert, PPR or asking for college group etc alone
Please let be our brother’s keeper!!!!!!! Here is the info how to submit your passport in Lagos and Abuja through my searching from past conversations on this Canada student thread
Just print the ppr letter and submit along side your passport,a copy of the data page of your passport and the biometric slip at VFS, if you don't reside in the state where you had your biometrics you can send it via courier make sure you pay for two way
