Hello everyone please I need your advice.
On 10th of June I submitted for my visa application and did my biometrics on 15th but today I got a refusal later stating I have insufficient funds but I submitted a statement of 25m proving the source of the funds from the sales of my moms property being the sponsor. Second reason for refusal i will attach a pics.
Please need your advice here and direction.
I also attached the land documents.
Is your program masters or undergraduate?

Any help with this please

My little cent on this matter . If you’re using an agent, don’t trust them 100% yet to ask questions. You said you’ve gotten admission, you didn’t mention if you’ve applied for your visa. Definitely you are planning to do an upfront medical if IRCC hasn’t requested for your medical. Ask the agent to give you access to your portal if you’ve submitted your visa application. And ask your agent ti give you access to the email used for your admission process too. With that you can know maybe you are being scammed or not

Good day all,

Please can I use an online ( mobile app) generated bank statement of account and also attach a bank reference letter.

The issue is that the hard copy stamped bank statement my bank gave me is not clear at all. Access Bank statement, very bad printers, I have tried 3 different branches. It’s not even clear and the size is over 30 mb, by the time I compress that document an inch lower, I believe nothing will be clear again.

Has anyone here used pdf file online generated bank statement ? Is the stamp actually important on bank statements? I believe with or without stamp , the visa officer will still do his verification.

Please what are you thoughts

You can’t use online generated bank statement for embassy. If it’s not clear enough get use my bank statement service offer by your bank with that your bank statement will be sent to the embassy directly. You will just be given a username and password for the embassy to be able to access your bank statement with that you don’t have to upload any bank statement anymore

Please I received a don't reply mail on Friday, I was expecting a positive result honestly, to my greatest surprise I downloaded the corresponding letter, with a summary of a generic response saying I have been given a 5 years ban previously, this was a shock to me because I was never sent the normal procedural fairness letter, please I really don't understand what to do, my sponsor is my brother and MPOWER loan, I have also ordered for my CBSA note immediately, please what must have been the issue please, attached is the letter..... and I never used a fraudulent document or bank statement, I even sent the usual my bank statement which contains a password, although my sponsor bank statement he gave me was the printed copy, please what must have been the problem? Pardon my English, please

Have you ever applied for Canadian visa before? Either yourself or using an agent

I need help urgently!!!
I'm suppose to pay for my first semester fee (fanshawe) today through flywire. I want to pay through transfer (black mkt rate) but my banks(zenith &first bank) said they don't know about it.
I don't have a domiciliary account and I can't wait for form A.

What should I do?
[color=#006600][/color

You have to pay via black mark rate and you can look for someone who has a dom Acc to help you out.

Thank you.

She used her domiciliary account as well but it's still not going through. Her flight is about $3002 and she has $3100 in her account. And was it the credit card option you selected?

I will advise you not to use your Fx if you’re paying from Nigeria and you want to book Lufthansa airline to Canada. There are date for Lufthansa airline that are less than 900k (paying with naira account). $3100 is too expensive

Hi guys , I want to ask if it is still possible in Banks that we can send dollar to a USA account through Western union, Moneygram and others. And does anyone has the idea of the rate and charges. Thanks

You can only receive money via western union and money gram. The only way to send money out it’s goin through the cbn channels which it’s either you use Form Q for business or Form A for school fee, and bills(hospital etc). You can as well open a dorm account which you can fund at black market rate and pay for whatever you want

I’m not a guru but I can give my on opinion. The fixed deposit isn’t available for the purpose of your study, hence the insufficient funds. I believe your Letter of acceptance would have stated the deadline to make payment for your first semester tuition fee, which I believe should start before January the liquidation date of your fixed deposit. Hence the money won’t be available until January 2024, that’s an automatic insufficient funds. What VOs are after is the money available for the said purpose study and not just showing them figures. They are both interested in the figures and availability. You should have liquidated before applying then you write and show them when you started the fixed deposit and date you liquidated. So kindly re-fire and do it rightly this time. Also consult gurus before submission I guess he would have been properly guided on this before he submitted his application. Thanks.

You’re very right, let me explain further with my own personal experience. I used a fixed deposit ( in my name), personal account, investment account and sponsor account. The fixed deposit ought to liquidate by February 2023 and I applied September 2022. I didn’t get any message from IRCC until after my fixed deposit got liquidated hence I had to upload another offer letter which shows I defer to another semester

Please house help me out.
I no get dollar card, I don't have anyone abroad, I don't have a functional dorm account. How can I pay for my tuition fee, it's urgent. I'd have open a dorm account, but I have a bvn change of name issue, that is still in process.

Based on your situation, you only have 2 options
1. Get a virtual dollar card that you can fund yourself and pay for your sch fee
2. Find someone who has a dorm account that can help you with payment. I can help you with my dorm account only if we stay in the same city and it has to face to face deal probably you come to my office

Thank you.

If you want to use landed property as proof of funds I believe you have to sell it

I’m thinking of applying with just sales receipt and pictures of my sponsor in her store but don’t know if that would make sense to the VO.
Also did you get your PPR ?

I believe sales receipts and pictures of sponsor in her store won’t justify how far the business have been in existence. And yes I got my PPR

Gurus in the house should please help me answer this, I’m applying for student visa done my upfront medicals. My sponsor is my Mom but her business is not registered, is there a way to convince the VO on this since she doesn’t have CAC and she can’t register the business now because it would be obvious that it because of the visa application because the registration date would reflect on the CAC or can a backdate be done on CAC

I was in this situation when I applied for my student visa last year. My sponsor Business wasn’t registered, we went to register the business which was done within a week, then I applied. It was stated it in my sponsor letter that the business as been in existence for over 15 years thou it was registered recently, I backed it up with sales and purchased receipt of 12, 10,5, 3 years ago plus recent receipts too

Please what is the best way to show "ties to homeland". I don't have any landed properties in my name, just a car. And I currently do not have a job. How do I best show that I'll come back to Nigeria after my study.

You can use your car, family as home tie

Hi guys, my start date is July 4, is it reasonable to travel May 20th ? will I be allowed at the POE?

You can travel anytime you like. Just make sure you have your pof abd necessary documents with you. In fact IRCC advice students to travel as soon as they receive their visa to avoid busy travel period

Pls can I use Letter of support instead of gift of deed. Because my sponsor (third-party) is ready to transfer Tuition fee balance and living expenses to my account to show commitment.

Use deed of gift. However you still need to show sponsor bank statement to substantiate your claim

Hi all,

Please a friend of mine is trying to apply for his student visa to Canada but he is going to be sponsored by his mentor who has a completely different surname.

Please can anyone advice on the best way to go about proof of funds. Should he use gift deed or what can he do?

He intends to pay a major part of his tuition but he still needs something to show as POF.
Any suggestion or recommendation will be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

Some people have used third party sponsor and has gotten their visa approved whereas some got denied. If you can prove beyond doubt that the person has sponsor him at one point of his career then you’re good ( your sop is goin to treat that) my advice will be , let the sponsor make a deposit of tuition fee (probably the first semester fee), then the sponsor should deposit the remaining school fee balance plus maintenance fee to applicant bank account, he should go for a gift deed
