You must also understand that the process of replacing bad habits with good ones is not an overnight thing, neither is it going to be easy. You may fall sometimes, but you must get back up quickly and continue accumulating more good habits. Don't be deceived, everybody has one bad habit or the other they are struggling with, the difference is that some don't care about stopping, until it destroys thier lives, while others like you are genuinely concerned and seek help, and help is a good friend, it always comes to those who keeps seeking for it. I get really scared for the country when even the seemingly educated nigerians defend and support corruption like they have been compromised, i had thought our problem was the uneducated who have limited intellect to make objective and informed judgements. It seems our value system in nigeria is unconsciously being modeled to defend and support corruption as long as we have interests. We need a systematic mental rehabilitaion which would best come through a resounding and visionary leadership. Nigerians we can do this, lets vote right and ensure our votes count. Lets be cautious of our mindset TODAY.

My heart bleeds when i see posts like this with 51likes, even with the deterioriting state of the nation, i feel pained to the realise the unfortunate reality that even if a fool is president, some, maybe even most nigerians within the same geopolitical region would support him in foolishness. Indeed we seem to need an iron hand leadership, we are not at all matured or intellectually ready for a true democracy smh. My worry is not actually the comparism of obasanjo with jonathan, i think that is a very subtle issue, my worry is for the weakness, the inefficiency, the lack of vision and articulatism of the current leadership not plunge the nation into a war, a tribal war, a war of corruption, a war of debt, a war of dilapitated educational sttructure, a war of backwardness. This is my worry. Obasanjo to the best of my knowledge is in a different league from Jonathan. Although OBJ has his flaws, he is an independent intellectual strategist , sincerely i would rather be comparing him with a Fashola or an El-Rufai in the context of leadership and not as president.

The blackberry messenger had before now become a phenomenum, a redefinition of chat experience. It was like if you were not on bbm, you were either weird, antisocial or even both. But now whatsapp came up and peeps sighed an air of relief because now they could chat with peeps using cheap sorry any phone brand, some even dared to say whatsapp is better than bbm.

Well the following are some reasons why bbm remains better than whatsapp

1. Bbm has a dynamic delivery and read feed back to enable you track your chat unlike whatsapp which just give a single or double stroke which we don't know what dat means, like has the message been read or delivered?

2. With bbm you can track friends who recently updated thier profile, so you don't need to keep scrolling down over 200names to see who has updated profiles like whatsapp.

3. With bbm you can restrict the people on your chat space by not giving them your pin, unlike whatsapp where everybody that has your phone number is by fire by force on your contact list, I mean who does that?

4. With bbm you can easily delete anyone from your contact list and they are gone, I mean out, unlike whatsapp even if you delete or block the persons number, as long as the person has yr number, you are still on the persons contact list, I mean what's dat..... crazy I tell you.

As a matter of fact whatsapp copied some key concepts from bbm, but lets leave that for another thread. So next time someone tells you whatsapp is better than bbm, you can tell em whatsup! WORD.

I have read various articles about android phones being better dan BB and stuffs like dat. However having used all 3 major brands specifically in naija I believe I can confidently say the BB remains the best for these 3 major reasons:

More efficient internet structure: BB provides access to an unlimited internet data plan and at the least it provides more internet data at a lower cost than any other phone brand.BB pioneered this structure

More efficient mail structure: BB provides the most robust and easy to use email structure, due to competiton bw google and yahoo, Yahoo mail is sometimes inefficient on andrioid phones. Also other phone brands require more settings for uncOmmon emails unlike BB. BB pioneered easy access to emails.

Most dynamic chat system. BBM redefined chatting on phone and created the platform for whatsapp to enter. At a point people were so used to BBM dat it became a phenomenon, people cud literally be sleeping and chattin on BBM. BBM pioneered so much chat innovations like; no login required, sending of pix n voice, etc

Now some of the inefficiencies of BB had been battery life and slow system processors. This has however been addressed with the Z10 and Q10.

So the BB can be an only phone and you won't be missing out on anytin. But if you make an android or iphone an only phone u wud be missing out on the BBM as well as a very efficient and timely email structure.
