They are not going to examine evidence from both sides. That is for the judge to do. I think.

You are not required to say anything. Except in court. Murder charge or not.

I watch american movies and I see how criminals are convicted. I know the lawyer does all the dirty jobs of digging deep to find loop holes but when it is a murder investigation, but the police looks at every possible angle before charging someone to court. You just don't get the first suspect and drag him or her to court, you have to look at other possiblities nd look for solid story before dragging someone to court. Now what is the motive of amarachi killing frank. They weren't dating. And amarachi left town almost immediately after waking up so when did she hve time to go to franks's saloon.did anyone see her enter or leave franks' place. What time did she arrive her friend's place in d other town and what time did she push kelvin out of the house. There is a lot of loop holes in her time frame. If she pushed kelvin out,then what time she get to frank's plaace murder him, come back, clean up then use the weapon to decorate her house before leaving. And y is noone testing their blood to see if they wre actually drugged. Then again, this is fiction set in Nigeria so the plot is as expected

No but I also thought detectives are supposed to follow up on every possible lead before charging someone to court. If they (amarachi n kelvin) claim they have been drugged, why have any test been carried out on them to determine if it is true or not. Also the person tht called ini, why didn't they follow up on that lead or they re so blind or lazy to follow leads but rather convit the innocent cos they are too lazy to do their job. Cos it is clear to the blind tht clearly there was a set up cos who kills someone with a knife andthen uses the murder weapon to decorate her room.

Anyways this is fiction so anything goes.
