Let me educate you please, dolometa-B is drug that consist of 100mg diclofenac sodium (a non steroidal anti-inflammatory) + vitamin b1, b6 and b12. It is not an opioid analgesic like you said. You obviously were prescribed another drug(Vicodin) and you're obviously misplacing the name. I have used dolometa-B severally for clients that had to take thier pets home. Please do you research very well also before you come online and accuse people blindly.

Correction taken boss. I just checked the drug now, and I found out that what I took was Dolo-pap B Fort, and not Dolo-meta B, neither was it Vicodin (I'd never mix the two names up, they're way different in spelling to miss out). Apologies. But still, it isn't advisable to administer otc drugs for humans to pets. Most time we do not know all the active ingridients and we just use, at the end of the day we regret. Please it's best if you can access a vet to examine the limb properly and administer appropriate analgesic. Paracetamol won't provide the required level of analgesia and anti-inflammatory effect required. You can get dolometa B from the pharmacy and use it instead. You can administer 1 tab morning and 1 in the evening if it's an adult, if it's still young use half tab morning and evening.

If it were a cat, you'd have been blaming yourself for it's loss, cuz as much as 250mg of pcm can be very fatal to cats or small pets.
