Stop judging the book by it's cover. Chill and let the puppy grow first. If OP takes your advice and the puppy turns out great, he will be in regret. Plus that pup has all the characteristics of a sable short-haired gsd Sir. Google the characteristics.

That's a short-haired german shepherd. Plus, you can't determine the purity of the puppy from just viewing pictures. That dog is a fine sable gsd. I'd advice the OP to buy the dog, it looks like what would turn out good in the future.

Because a dog is house raised does not change its internals. The dogs digestive system is built for such. It's like saying because you raised a Lion indoors with kibble, his digestive system can not accommodate raw meat anymore.

The enzyme you speak of is Avidin. That is present in egg whites and as long as you feed the dog the whole egg (yoke, egg white, shell), biotin deficiency is not a worry (egg yoke contains more than enough biotin). The biotin deficiency you mention can only occur when you feed your pup only raw eggs crazy amounts a week (which is not the case here) and as its only meal. Chief, there are no down sides, only upsides. Incorporate raw eggs into your dogs diet and see the difference it makes on their coats. I didn't just come online to spew nonsense without getting my facts right. I can give you links to Animal nutritionists (with actual PHDs), dog breeders, etc that have been feeding raw eggs, meat etc. to different breeds of dogs for decades without any downside. In fact, they thrive on it.

If switching them from one food brand to another can disrupt their system, what makes you think the whole scavenging life would match the system of a house raised dog? You can't come and compare the system of a local dog and that of a boerboel. Just because they are all dogs, doesn't mean they can stand the digestive process of certain food they ingest. Also, I never said that feeding raw egg was totally bad, there are a lot of pros too, but the digestive system of the dog is a factor to note too. Not all dogs have the same resistance level to certain sicknesses. Plus, raw feeding is also good, I never said it wasn't, I'm not just all in on the raw egg thing. Also, not all research articles are 100%, most are from personal experiences and observations, most are hypothesis. If time isn't taken, I probably have made more research on a dog's diet, both raw and cooked. Plus, I have had over 10 dogs, I have been into training dogs for over 9 years now, I think I'm speaking more out of experience than you are. Lastly, we have derailed this thread enough. I rest my case. Whatever OP chooses. I wish the dog the best life.

The eggs don't have to be cooked though, raw eggs are perfectly safe and contains more nutrients (yoke, egg white and even the shell - the whole damn thing) than cooked eggs. Also, salmonella infection does nothing against dogs as their digestive system is riddled with such bacteria. Fun fact: I take raw eggs

Think about dogs that scavenge food from the trash or dogs that eat their poop or even the ones that rid your compound of rodents . Their digestive system was built for those kind of things.

I'll stick to one whole (egg white + yoke + shell - the shell is a very good source of calcium) egg a day though.

One egg is enough. And I hope you cook the eggs before giving him to avoid salmonella which is very infectious to both humans and other animals. Also, mind how much food you give him, so he doesn't get obese. At this stage you need work him to bring out his muscles. The dry food and chicken is enough source of protein for him, maybe one egg too, he's already heavy enough now. Cuz excess protein is stored as fats in dogs. Please note that a fat dog is not a healthy dog.

You can't know a dog's purity based on pictures bro. I'd advice you never to test for a dog's purity based on pictures, most times a pure dog has several faults, at the end of the day, if you should do the rating via pictures, he'd score lesser than that which looks pure in looks, but via DNA/PROGENY, you'd see he's even better stock than the better looking one. Sometimes they are pure but not well taken care of. Most people here saying that it's impure is prolly cuz the ears aren't cropped and not because of any prior knowledge of the dog's tree.

On feeding, it's a big fat lie that Milk isn't good for Dogs, milk is good for any mammal/living things at whatever age, so feed good nutritious milk, not watery, good thick milk, either powdered or tin.

Your dog may not like what you are feeding it, rather than waste money buying can food of about #300 or #400, buy noodles waste, buy fish or meat( chicken or cow intestine) at the market for a low cost daily and mix with it's food, add boiled egg to it also, feed twice, one in the morning and evening, then try just to feed with milk and raw egg in the noon. Then watch it's growth.

Baba, quality gsds have white patches too. It's a genetic fault, yes, but not for you to say "a good gsd shouldn't have any trace of white patch on it's body", that's wrong. Many top gsds have white patches. Have a good night.

Ok yesterday i went to the vet store to get Cesar his dry food ( fidog brand) which he has been on since i got him. On getting to the store i was surprised my vets store was very empty all the dry dog foods has been purchased remaining only 4 bingo puppy food , i had to buy one even if i initially intended on continuing with fidog brand.
Ok so i started researching on the brand this morning as i am very meticulous about what ceaser eats, i discovered more discouraging reviews than positive ones. People were complaining about loose stool and bad smell. I decided it was time to try it.
Already i had served him a bowl of fidog dry food this morning as it was still remaining a little so i wanted to exhaust it before opening the bingo food, he ate his fidog as usual ( he doesn't rush it he just takes his time and eats moderately) and remained a little. So i opened the bingo pack took a handful and gave it to him. Come and see the way my boy swallowed everything! Someone that just finished eating. I went back filled another bowl amd served him again Ceaser rush it just lik he rushes chickens in matter of seconds plate don dry.

Now i am eagerly awaiting his poop, but so far his reaction towards bingo dry foods in terms of palatability is more than fidog.

Is there anyone using this brand too? Please let me know the effects
