Almost every home and business in urban Nigeria has generators for standby electricity. The lack of maintenance culture and technical know makes the cost of servicing and repair exorbitant.

with the comments above, I only deducted the following:
- some C. E. O are greedy, in a situation where you pay your staff below 10k monthly and you still expect them to return the 30k survival fund so u can dash them below 5k. Employee will abscond, I have a case study of a private school around me.

- survival fund is Wrongly channel: some people have a dormant CAC certificate and at such they don't settle any employee rather than friends and their subject. Na dem dey ask 'is it your money'? meanwhile, survival fund is to assist Small and Micro Investment.

- ideal investors: if you have a genuine investment and live after survival fund, your employees can never abscond.

above all. the initiative is to lift Nigerian out of poverty, which ever purse the money enters, it will serve it's purpose. it's a grant and not loan.

One thing I know is this, if all your statuses are verified, they will definitely pay you...the time is what I don't know.

You sound very certain and confident about the delayed payout. Are u one of their staff or you know something the rest of us don't because I've decided to give up after today, if payment fails to trickle in.
Since I got verified both online and phone call nothing has dropped yet.
What's the sense in releasing 3rd payout when many are yet to even receive 1st payout. This country tire me.

I don't think d 50k is for the employer. All my employees were paid 50k except one who received 30k. I think it has to do with d amount on payslip.

Seeing that you are an employee, I can understand your sentiments. But understand the following:

1.The fund is called payroll support because it was meant to support employers of labour who have been through a rough patch during the pandemic.

2.To ensure the money is used for the payroll of staff is the only reason they requested staff account details.

3.The goal is to ensure that businesses stay afloat and not layoff staff due to payroll burden caused by the pandemic.

4. The objective is not to dash you money. If you want free money check the other covid households relief schemes that are running simultaneously with this one.

You are pissed because some employers like school proprietors are making profits from this. Don't be an entitled or jealous individual. Running a business in this country is like living a block away from suicide, freaking difficult especially in the early phase.
When your employer makes a loss, you get paid your complete salary and take no part in the loss. So why wail and lament because he makes a profit?
You should probably start a business of your own and I bet you'd sing a different tune. Act like a real Sufi mystic friend!

Just a simple schedule displaying name, designation, salary, amount received, date and signature, with a heading "schedule of salary payment for the month of x". Then the schedule will be duely sign and stamp by a principal officer.
