He promised to reduce the purchasing power but na una no understand |
So people here will still blame and guilt trip her with "after all Nigerian has done for you". Abeg what has Nigeria done for her. Besides she put the country on the world map of athletics competitions and what did she get in return? Go where you're appreciated and valued... Simple as that How much does the AFN give our athletes again for upkeep, training, and bonuses? |
The state govt shouldn't collect the blame alone, what happens to the local govt? What are they doing with their allocation? |
If I were to be the president, I will sign an executive order for life imprisonment or 10yrs imprisonment with hard labour on charges of economic sabotage eg rail, electricity, public infrastructure vandalism |
It's not just about reviving it but making sure we export finish goods. |
Zeebuy:As in ehn, Nigerians saw evil, lesser evil, and more evil and stup!dly went to more evil and still have the guts to complain. Even if you're a tribalist and was against PO, abeg wetin do atiku or sowore? Me, 2027 I will vote APC so we can continue the good work |
Me:: YES YES AND MORE YES Reason: Let the shege continue to 2031 |
helinues:As at Dec 2023, the total debt (fgn only) was at #87trn, as at Dec 2024 (#134trn). Note the debt includes both domestic and external. Subsidy was removed May 2023, there should be savings or redirection of the money to key sectors. Going to say the allocation is being increased to other arms of govt is just a wish saying because as at pre-removal, other arms were given more allocation based on how much revenue we got. Now with the plan sales of sukuk and the mtmf loan, the debt profile will increase. Where then is the savings from subsidy and why are we still borrowing when we have more money. PS: I supported subsidy removal in 2012 and still do now but the money must be reinvested in small and medium scale enterprise as was done during the pdp era openly and felt by the people which is clearly lacking in this regime. |
advanceDNA:The pressure on naira is from imports eg steel products, petrol, foodstuff etc. The country should break the bottleneck around them |
For the dollar rate to fall, we must kick start that ajaokuta mill and have factory that are ready to process from the steel from raw to finished produce. Already the dangote refinery has reduced pressure on fx to a large extent but we need more players on ground so we can satisfy local appetite before export |
Truly we have short memories because it was the same man that kicked against subsidy removal on 2012 and now went ahead to remove it. It was same man that said the gains from subsidy will reduce govt expenditures but what we have is ballooned cost. Same man that said subsidy gains will be reinvested in critical infrastructure but yet to see them while we saw pdp sure-p programs. |
If psg wins it, I wonder how mpappe will feel cos he left them to RM with the sole aim of winning it but this season, nothing come out (no trophy). Another one was Harry Kane, left Tottenham to Bayern to win something and same Tottenham won a European cup. Consolation, Harry got what he wanted Summary, I am rooting for psg |
It's actually more than one. The reason its underreported is because APC made niggrid remove their site where we could actively see the grid activities and supply to discos. Nigerians over monitored it last year and it was painting the govt bad. If anyone wants to argue or engage me, then what is the supply to your disco today and link to verify ? |
This piece is an eye-opener to those in the corridors of power. The people are angry and lost while the political class shield themselves from the people. The people are looking at the opposition to get their acts together, once this is done then it will be the people vs the oppressors come 2027 |
On a norms, I see no reason in building more PHCs when the existing one are under equiped and under funded. That's what PO did when he was on seat. Equip existing ones to standard before establishing new ones. This same technique applies to the educational sector, instead of building new one, upgrade and equip the existing ones to standard before establishing new ones. |
bentenny:They should do the needful cos 2027 is just around the corner |
The only way to resolve this LP issue is for all parties (factions) to step down and a NWC constituted to organize a national convention and the result should be binding. |
GOFRONT:Wickedest son dey chop life pass bros solo boy. The video dey everywhere |
From the video online, 3 amsc guys tried assaulting the man and the amac werey pepper spray himself |
The only time you will see northerners comfortably bring money to buy land down south is when they need the land for their mosque. |
5000 officers to fix overcrowding! Is there something I'm not getting? Why not expand and upgrade the existing structures, expedite judicial cases before we talk bout employment |
That no. 28, comot am from that list |
But when there's increment, you won't hear let's sell the old stock at the old price... 9ja my country |
Johnson5258:Yes |
Johnson5258:He's qualified to be voted for. Even a one day old cardinal can be voted for if the need arise |
Johnson5258:You are welcome Okpaleke made waves because he wasn't accepted by the ordinance in his cathedral (mbaise) which was a serious case then. He was installed outside his cathedral (which ought not to be so because all bishops and archbishop has to be installed in the diocese n arch except cardinals and popes). He had to resign from the diocese and a new one (ekwulobia) was crafted to accommodate him by the late pope. I believe it was that act of humility that made the late pope elevate him to a cardinal. He is very much eligible to be voted for but he's a new boy on the block against the old experienced hands. I wholeheartedly support him to be next pope when I heard of his elevation to cardinal but as I said, it will take lots of grace to complete the fairytale story of a rejected bishop turning into a pope who his people will look towards to sherpard them. |
Johnson5258:It will likely take lot of grace for him to make it to papacy. The ones from Ghana hasnt done much works on charity, peace, sacrifice. The one from congo hasn't done or called the world attention to the war in his domain. The Philippines cardinal is power hungry and too young which is not what the church want. The Italian parolin has a scandal to his name which might disqualified him. Cardinal grech seems reserve and more into administrative role with a more inclusive view which high go down well after the LGBT storm around the late pope. Cardinal zippo seems the likely successor based on his works (peace, conflict resolution, charity etc), his from Italy, worked closely with the late pope, has no known scandal to his name. I may be wrong but one thing I'm sure of is that the papacy is coming back to europe |
Mrchippychappy:They don't prerecord Easter mass when it's attended and view live |
bixton:Not making excuses for the SG but I feel it something similar to IPPIS. What the SG should do is create a committee comprising of both the union and SG officials to streamline the irregularities from the system before implementing not what the teachers are doing by having different committees to dialogue with the govt since other parastatal have theirs already working |
Those who didn't read will just jump to conclusions. They say they have a teacher payment system which is yet to be implemented and not that the state is owing them backlogs. PS: to the mod dashing out bans and hiding posts, e dey mind. |
Making money takes time and not a one way thing. If you want to invest and need a higher interest than what the banks offer, your best bet is to buy commercial notes, Treasury bills (u can get a above 16% pa). If u have too much money, then buy metals and keep. |
