One thing I love about this country is that, they know what's the guy and still go for the wrong one and later come back to complain about the wrong choice they picked. As it stands now, we don't need to beg anybody on who to vote. So by 2028, everybody will feel the result well |
“Tonight, at my direction, brave American forces and the Armed Forces of Nigeria flawlessly executed a meticulously planned and very complex mission to eliminate the most active terrorist in the world from the battlefield. Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, second in command of ISIS…” - President Trump

Na Ovaltine we go benefit while they benefit jobs and exports |
My happiness is that, the crude price is now above $100/b and we don't pay subsidy. Now we should be having excess revenue as the price is above budget benchmark. I want to see what this current govt will do with the excess cash or they will shamelessly still borrow as the accused GEJ of mismanagement even when he was paying subsidy and still managed to keep the fx low |
PigTormentor:The slots are for non commissioned who do the dirty work, those for commissioned are always taken. Why do the dirty work when you quite know that u will be sacrificed for nothing |
What we meant then that subsidy must go then was because it was hitting our revenue and PDP had the an economic think tank that could handle the economy and the impact but this present corp of leader was against it and now they are championing it. If we had allow it go then, by now we would have been past what we are currently experiencing |
simply privatize the refineries but have a minimum stalk of about 20-40% |
Gboss247:In this case, the supply(Russia, Venezuela, Iran) will reduce causing an increase in demand. |
nairalanda1:If the Iranian, Venezuela, and Russia oil blockade holds, crude price will definitely go up to about $100/b. The negative effect is petrol and it's derivative price will rise. What then will the govt use to cushion the impact? |
nairalanda1:Most of the debt we have are tied to crude exchange. Coupled with freed up money from subsidy and forex. Also the APC claims to have cleared up backlogs of debt. The major one which I believe was made public was the bonds sales. Except they went behind to still borrow more than the mtef set by them. If they can cut down their bogus expenses and allowances, we have no business borrowing for now |
I'm more interested in seeing if T-pain will still borrow to fund the 2026 budget. Benchmark was approximately $65/b, if it crosses $70/b then we should have surplus and a boost in foreign reserves since they don't pay petrol subsidy |
e get wire wey u go collect, the whole community go celebrate with you ![]() |
Shimbo96:Inflation was at 33% raising from a single digit because the APC govt closed borders and implemented policies that backfired against the economy and raised the cost of foodstuff. Now T-pain came in and reopened the borders after multiple appeals. Now inflation is dropping and the price of foodstuff going down and the same APC is claiming a win over inflation despite it being the cause of the high inflation. The guy is just mocking the FG |
saphiere:Change indeed, women rule have always been worst than the male rule. Look at Tanzania for instance that's the most recent and when they are overthrown, they start playing the gender card Other countries include; Argentina, Bolivia, South Korea, myanmar, Brazil, Philippines etc. the list is long. That's why people are always skeptical on giving women power because they are more interested in consolidating power than leadership itself eg japan |
Its depends. Deceased acct that goes dormant and the family doesn't come to claim the funds are moved to the cbn for investments until when the family comes to claim the money Those who come to claim the funds must come with the death cert and balance inquiry (from probate). The nok doesn't do anything as the bank will only recognize the person that comes with the original death cert n probate letter |
I saved my life oo This T-pain no easy |

President Donald Trump has said the US launched a "powerful and deadly strike" against the Islamic State (IS) group in north-western Nigeria. In a post on Truth Social, the US president described IS as " terrorist scum", accusing them of "targeting and viciously killing, primarily, innocent Christians". He said the US military "executed numerous perfect strikes", without giving any further details. It is unclear what exact targets were struck and when. In November, Trump ordered the US military to prepare for action in Nigeria to tackle Islamist militant groups. In his post late on Thursday, Trump said that "under my leadership, our Country will not allow Radical Islamic Terrorism to prosper". In his warning back in November, the US leader did not say which killings he was referring to - but claims of a genocide against Nigeria's Christians have been circulating in recent months in some right-wing US circles. Groups monitoring violence say there is no evidence to suggest that Christians are being killed more than Muslims in Nigeria, which is roughly evenly divided between followers of the two religions. An adviser to Nigerian President Bola Tinubu told the BBC at the time that any military action against the jihadist groups should be carried out together. Daniel Bwala said Nigeria would welcome US help in tackling the Islamist insurgents but noted that it was a "sovereign" country. He also said the jihadists were not targeting members of a particular religion and that they had killed people from all faiths, or none. President Tinubu has insisted there is religious tolerance in the country and said the security challenges were affecting people "across faiths and regions". Trump earlier announced that he had declared Nigeria a "Country of Particular Concern" because of the "existential threat" posed to its Christian population. He said "thousands" had been killed, without providing any evidence. This is a designation used by the US state department that provides for sanctions against countries "engaged in severe violations of religious freedom". Following this announcement, Tinubu said his government was committed to working with the US and the international community to protect communities of all faiths. Jihadist groups such as Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province have wrought havoc in north-eastern Nigeria for more than a decade, killing thousands of people - however most of these have been Muslims, according to Acled, a group which analyses political violence around the world. In central Nigeria, there are also frequent clashes between mostly Muslim herders and farming groups, who are often Christian, over access to water and pasture. Deadly cycles of tit-for-tat attacks have also seen thousands killed - but atrocities have been committed on both sides. Human rights group say there is no evidence that Christians have been disproportionately targeted. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cj69j8l918do?at_ptr_name=facebook_page&at_medium=social&at_bbc_team=editorial&at_link_id=86A1C5BE-E1ED-11F0-A2AF-CFDC20E13B96&at_link_type=web_link&at_campaign=Social_Flow&at_link_origin=BBC_News&utm_social_handle_id=228735667216&utm_social_post_id=633936298&at_campaign_type=owned&at_format=link&fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQPMjc1MjU0NjkyNTk4Mjc5AAEe0Ze1qOMKcpQjptBWuKplRZACw7KKfzvI8UOVMJ7g36AEcA2kxD4Ri-Er2sY_aem_SAYDXD9pJJrQm00XstZB2g

$490m!! how one person go embezzle that amount of money? there must be other people involved |
The Nigerian govt designated IPOB as a terrorist organization and left the Fulani mauraders as bandit while the US govt designated Fulani mauraders as terrorists and ipob as a secessionist group |
In as much as I wanted us to qualify, let's been plain... We played rubbish and we need to overhaul the whole team. What's iwobi still doing in the SE? Secondly, those saying we should source local talent. Isn't it the same local talent that fumbled in the just concluded WAFU? we just need a good replacement player for every wing. Those who are ready to spill blood for the National team |
For any coup to succeed, they need the guards bridge, artillery, communication, armoured Corp involved. But on a serious note though coup is bad and if such should happen, only those benefiting from this administration will protest especially the SW. I don't see any other region getting involved in protest |
franugo:As in ehn |
This was the finals I anticipated last season... Barca for the 3 points |
ernieboy:It's called third party indemnity form. |
People are just criticising for nothing. Almost interest free loan and money will be paid directly to contractors and consultants hinged on project milestones unlike the past where the loan will be given to the govt who then embezzle it and leave the project undone. That's why people criticize when govt wants to take loan. The pro of this loan is that, the contractor will be in a hurry to complete the project so as to access their money |
Who still remembers bunmi TV then in 2014, after the 2015 elections they faded |
When the original managers of etisalat left and handed over to it's Nigerian counterpart, I know it was a matter of time before it gets to this point but the fall was too fast |
FreeStuffsNG:I understand your point but the road will also boost the economic outlook of the host community. Bonny island is also a tourist location due to its location. I have always wanted to visit that location when I served there but crossing the water was an issue due to its span. With the road completed, they can easily transport fish caught, also have more visitors to boost the local economy and more employment opportunities due to the oil companies around. It has a long term multiplier effect |
If the conservatives push forward, they might be a snap election |
One week would be very much ok to mourn the passing |
na wickedest cause am.. cos i dont see the reason why a supposed man of God will aloow the alter to be used to throw gabs at political opponents. |
