You awarded a contract in 2018 with the ten exchange rate and probably didn't pay in full but in part installment. Heading towards 2023, exchange rate went up and most of the materials used on that contract was imported, why then won't the rate go up.
What govt should do is pay in full for all contracts awarded and allow the contractor face what ever challenge that arises instead of dragging

If for example I go to national television to announce that I'm now a citizen of Germany and no longer a citizen of Nigeria...., If I then go and swear affidavit that I'm now a citizen of Germany, does all this make me truly a citizen of Germany? Certainly No!

That's same issue that Fubara is facing and you guys that are supposedly educated keep supporting him and getting him to sink himself deeper into the mess he's in.

Fubara should be impeached cos the guy is just too stupid and greedy to be a governor of a great state like Rivers.

Common sense should tell you that it is wrong for Fubara to present budget to 4 members of assembly out of 30. It is wrong. Fubara is indirectly denying more than 90% of Rivers people from having any input in the budget. Giving the high rate of budget padding, inflation and misappropriation, it is completely wrong, illegal and undemocratic to use for people that are loyal to you to pass a budget.

Will you support Tinubu if Akpabio, the Yoruba speaker of house of reps and two other members unilaterally pass the national budget? Will you be happy?

If you check well you'll discover that it is Fubara who is trying to corner Rivers state resources into his pocket. That is why he's doing all this illegality while crying like a fool that Wike is the problem.

All the actions Fubara has taken so far has been to his own personal advantage. At what point will those who helped him become governor begin to have a say in the affairs of the state?

So you think the opposition will release their membership register to their opponent to be used against them when they have a lot to lose?
So the court affidavit attesting to the fate that they are no longer members of the PDP already in the court and public domain is null and void right?
Expulsion of the lawmakers by the state party already in public domain is null and void right?

If not for judicial rascality, this matter should have long been settled.
Even those judges churning out mushroom injunctions should be penalized by the NJC.

Lawmakers announced their defection, also swore at the court that they have defected together with video evidence.
What evidenced do you need again even their party seized to recognize them as their members. They were also received by the APC party official.
All these noise would have been put to rest if inec had done the needful

It's enshrined in the constitution, and the constitution is where the nation law is built in.
section 68(1)(g) of the 1999 Constitution clearly stated this. We got other court rulings on defection/cross carpeting.

It has been stated in the court that if you cross carpet to another party, u lose your seat except your national party has dispute which in this case is absent.
Those lawmakers by virtue ain't lawmakers again. Now using the court to drag the matter when there is already a clear judgement is an act of illegality. Inec should have conducted a rerun since but in Nigeria, we have strong individuals and weak institutions instead of the other way round.
Presenting the budget to the 4 members isn't illegal even if it sounds morally wrong but matters of state shouldn't be placed on hold.

We have not had it bad like this in Nigeria APC should let go off their ego and consult PDP on how they managed the Nigerian economy and security in 16yrs. PDP is neither a saint but it's evident that PDP outshines APC in all ramifications from appointing competent individuals(the likes of Ngozi, Soludo, Sanusi, Dora Akwuyili e.t.c) and PDP managed the global economy fall in 2007 that Nigeria as a country didn't feel the effect.
What of how OBJ successfully transitioned Nigeria digital space from Analog (NITEL) to what we have today.
If it had been APC that took over fragile and empty purse from Abacha/Abdul-Salami in 1999 Nigeria will not exist today. And today PBAT is giving flimsy excuse that PMB left almost nothing. Don't they know that OBJ inherited the same and clear our debt .
These are the only mistakes of PDP:
1 failed to scrap the 1999 constitution
2 failure to build refinery
3 GEJ was too docile and he shouldn't have handed over power to PMB bcs he would have won in court
4 OBJ allowed his ego not to work with GEJ hence he tore the party card which gave APC a chance

Unfortunately, GEJ would have lost convincingly at the court which he knew and decided not to follow through. That 2015 election to me was like if jazz was used to cover the eyes of Nigerians to see beyond their nose. They voted massively against GEJ powered by the collation of parties, the West, and the nPDP (that gangup was suppose to be a pointer to the people). If GEJ had gone to the court and para venture won, the country would have been set on fire and I doubt if he would have had peace of mind with that tenure cos their would have been riot across the country which would have prompted the military taking over because majority of them then (backed by some powerful northern cabal) was against GEJ because of him invited those south Africa mecenaries to battle boko haram weeks to the election thereby depriving them of kickbacks.
My anger with Nigerians is the 2019 when they should have gone for lesser evil but still yet stick with PMB and now repeating same in 2023. On the refinery issue, if the complete removal of subsidy was done in 2012 and wasn't opposed. By now, we won't have this issue cos PDP then had the technocrats to manage the proceeds and economy.
On doing away with the 1999 constitution and implementing the confab, it would have led to problem against him since the north are majority in both chambers and implementing that would have been against them, their numbers, and also diminish their strength on matter of national importance.

The govt is still paying subsidy and now NNPC isn't making enough money from crude sales to offset the bill because future crude has been used to take loans

Constitutionally, VPs don't have a role. It is what the president tell him to do that he would do. The president defines what the VP's role is. It's practically a useless political position, except, of course, the fact that it's a breath away from the presidency. But then again, no VP has successfully gone on to become president, so politically, it's not necessarily advantageous.

A Nigerian President needs to be able to fly in a plane owned by Nigeria as and when needed.

People who say the prime ministers of some countries in Europe use commercial planes. Yes, but those countries airports and airlines are very well connected to other countries.

Nigeria airlines don't fly to many countries. I think Airpeace only flies to the UK.

So, what if Nigeria's President needs to travel to France, USA, Brazil etc? He should fly Air France, or United Airlines? What if those airlines are not available on the day he needs to fly?

Because the price of beans and garri is high, Nigeria should not buy an aeroplane? I disagree.

The Nigerian government can do both - buy the plane and continue to work to make life easier for citizens.

That is where you miss it.
A country can use a commercial airline as a flag carrier. In places where the airline doesn't fly to, you charter the whole plane and there's diplomatic immunity to it. Say air peace doesn't fly to France, you charter the plane for that period.
Secondly, the Vatican use air Italia to fly the pope on all route he wants to go to.

If only Nigerians knows how much it cost per hour to fly that toy and also cost of maintenance and spare parts.
