No. Not in the US. Our tax filing season starts in mid January and ends mid Alril. This year's has been on from January 19 and it ends in April 15. So if he wants to use it, he might have used it already and that's just too sad.

That said, there is no excusing what he did. Even if he did not use the SSN to claim credits, what he did was absolutely wrong. Social Security Administration is always boldly written on the envelope that brings the card in the mail, so he cannot tell her that he didn't know that it contains the baby's SSN. Then he still went ahead and hid the entire card from her after opening and probably copying the number. Arghhh. How criminal can that be?

He didn't think about the criminal implications of that before opening the documents and even hiding it from her? You know what SSN issues can cause someone in America? You gotta experience it before you feel the full weight of it. I still stand by what I said. Call the IRS identity theft hotline. Tell them the envelope was delivered open. No need to mention the person that opened it. Let them put a marker on that SSN and possibly give you a PIN. If he has filed with the SSN this year, fine. Next year if he tries it, his whole refund will be held and he will be told to verify identity with the PIN you were given and since he doesn't know it, that's when the issue will start. If he can't produce it, his whole refund will be held and might prompt an audit and even an investigation. Some Nigerians here are just appalling and I've heard stories of hosts doing that to people. What will the 2K or less claimed from child credit do for you? What? Nonsense!!!

Went for the interview and did as was advised. Carried the investment certificate and other statements of account. But was denied under section 214b. the person who interviewed me denied everyone she interviewed. She didn't give one single white sheet in my presence.

1. No it isn't possible for your mother and wife to apply on the same form. Each person will fill her ds 160 and pay visa fees. For detailed info, please refer to the us website.They can get the same interview time and MAY be interviewed together. Families are interviewed together.I do not know. If a MIL and daughter in law will be construed as family. Basically, all man should tidy em side in case of incasity.

2. I totally always never get this question. Yet people keep on askin it. Why? NOBODYcan tell u your chances of getting the visa except the vo standing in front of u.

3. I honestly don't understand this part but for hospitals and budget sheet? That will be on you to go thru this thread and see the one within your budget. U can check the ist page of this thread for FAQs as well as a list of hospitals in the us and their website. Google Phema budgetsheet or use the search feature on this thread. It has been posted several times. Yes u may use another hospital after u get the visa. If asked by cbp I guess u will have your reasons. That being said, if u have a relative in the us, please don't fail to indicate in the form so u don't fall into the same trap people have fallen in the past

I just got married few month back n my wife is pregnant but our plan Is for her 2 av our child in U.S so intend to apply for U.S visa for my wife & my mother soonest.
Pls I need your help on dis questions:

1) Is it possible to apply for U.S visa on same form Online with My wife & my mother together & when d interveiw comes will both of them go for interview same day to see the V.O together?

2) What are the chances of my wife & my mother getting this visa even as I meet the financial requirment but my wife have not not travel out except to Benin republic by road & my mother also have not travel out of d country also?

3) I have an aunty who is a nurse in U.S but don't want to use her yet until I get the visa so the issue now is I want 2 make contact with a doctor in U.S so as to get d correspondence With budget sheet (expenses expected for everything)., but will b on a different state in U.S & at the end if visa is granted & my wife with my mum gets to U.S is it possible they can move from the doctor state to the state where my aunty is a nurse if they can change hospital and doctor?
