Ranting of a typical gooferian!

1) Is Kobo, responsible for PHCN's inability to provide even 2 minutes light in a day? even when citizens pay for electricities not supplied?

2) Is it she that will tell the POLICE not to kill innocent citizens they are paid to protect?

3) Is she part of the servants that will bring you down once you decide to be different and fight corruption in their midst?

^^^^If i were you i will try to get my govt to do the neceassry thing and stop looking for who to accuse of not  supporting "govt/country that will never do the right thing"
The pictures on your profile indicate that i'll be wasting my time responding to you in detail cos they clearly indicate who your role models are. Nuff said

@Kobojunkie
You sit in far away Columbus and criticize the country/government, what are you actually doing to change things?  You praise the western world for being better than naija, at any chance you get, and put your own country down. What are your plans to improve Nigeria? Do you even have any? If you see so much wrong with Nigeria, why not let the change start from you instead of coming here and spitting venom. If you feel so passionate at the way the country is being run then you should try and contribute to its improvement instead of just trying to look smart behind a laptop.

a) By educating the masses on the portfolios of each and every one of the leaders

b) By pushing that the public instead understand the power that is given them in our democracy

c) By using that power in the courts and at the grassroot level to ensure that no matter who makes that seat next year, the power have a last say in all matters
@kobojunkie
Remind me to ask you that same question again when the candidates are revealed, then lets see if that answer you gave me will be applicable at the time.

Mr Dis Guy,
For being able to surf the web, I believe you must have gone to a 'school' (which school, I don't know and don't care to know; whether you pass thru the school or it pass thru you I don''t know as well) BUT I strongly believe and HOPE that you TRY hard to kindly apply common sense to your postings/replies PLEASE, No hard feelings just the simple truth!
@Wesan123,
Don't you think you are at fault here? How can you just post your phone number on a web forum and order someone to call you without any indication of what you wanna discuss with the person? Then the next thing you do is respond with insults when the person turns you down? Are you kidding me? I think its your education that's in doubt here not Dis guy's.

I keep wondering the kind of response i see on the akon and 2 face thread.

Akon is not better than 2 face
2face is not better than akon

Lawd have mercy!! You shoulda stuck to expressing yourself with Google maps; it kinda made you seem smart. Now that you've attempted to express yourself with words it seems the cat has been let outta the bag. Your Yoruba brothers wont ever forgive you for associating your illiteracy with them ooo. Please go back to the maps and stay quiet.

Why people stay responding to this AMAKA child still baffles me, the girl is not older than 13 but likes to chat amongst grown folk. Just ignore her, she claims to be born in the US but can't read English. Please give her time to complete her high school education before you start knocking her. She'll soon learn.

Why must we always think the worse when faced with an uncommon situation, especially in a situation like this where we have been given minimal information

My instinct tells me that Yes the girl maybe the mans daughter and no the man may not be sleeping with his daughter.

From what I've read here it may jolly well be that the poster has misunderstood or misinterpreted things.

Folks I am not saying the poster is not telling the truth or the husband isnt indeed playing a fast one. I am just saying we should look at the wider picture and be 100% sure before writing the man off completely.

Before I go any further I want to ask the poster the following;

How old is the "daughter"

How often did "dad" see the daughter before she came over to the USA

What kind of relationship did the "father" have with his daughter and other children

Where is this girls mother? Is your husband in touch with the mother

Did you husband use to go the mosque to pray early in the morning before his "daughter" came into town

When you say she is nasty to her brother, I am assuming that this is a child that you and your husband have together?

Let be realistic;  If they were indeed having an affair, I would thought that they will do much better at hiding it away. The bathroom  shower story doesn't quite sit right with me.

If indeed this girl is his daughter, the husband no doubt made a big blunder by bringing in a teenage girl into the home without throuroughy thinking about the issues that this will bring.

Bringing in a teenage child into an already stable relationship will no doubt upset the dynamics of the home and there will almost always be resentment between the daughter and the wife until boundaries are drawn and the relationships built.

As someone suggested, you can install a camera; I sincerely pray that you dont find what you are suggesting.

sorry ive written an essay but at least this woman is accusing her husbabd of adultry and at worse incest.
@ Chaircover,
You're the only rational person that's posted on this thread so far. Everybody else seems to be facing the same direction. I still think there's more to this than meets the eye, and the poster has so far managed to tell us whats going on in her mind, i'm sure there are some other things she sees that prove her wrong, but she hasn't stated them. If she was 100% sure about this i doubt if she would be asking for advice on this forum.
Anyway, based on what she has typed so far i can understand why everyone has jumped to the same conclusion.

The pestilence of avarice still plagues our fledgling country, how eager and easily they pass power from one corrupt hands to the next while ignorant and insipid denizens look on as if paralyzed by the share audacity of such malfeasance. 99% of Yorubas in Nigeria, do not know that there is a Yoruba town call Ayekolelo in the republic of Benin.  99% of Yorubas in Nigeria do not know there is a Yoruba town call Okuta Bassa. and they do not know many yoruba town in Benin republic , Okuta osse. which is closer to Togo republic border. they kept on telling us lies. So that we  would remain in Nigeria. Google earth change all this.

How does this names of President of the Republic of Benin.  sound to you, like yoruba names.

Sourou Migan
Justin Tomêtin
  Mathieu Kérékou
Iropa  Kouandété
  Boni Yayi

Look at the name above, you can take it to any yoruba in nigeria, they would tell you this name look Yoruba. Kerekou ,made several effort to unity the twoNow really apart from kerekou ,  . kerekou also have some bariba root in him.  Kerekou in yoruba means He would not die. Kerekou cousin was Iropa  Kouandété.  Take for example Iropa. Go ask any yoruba man what Iropa means. it is a name given to a child, when all hope is lost.  Even migan nearly made the republic of Benin part of Nigeria. iropa was also president. Migan is from around the sabe area. Tometin, root is from the royal house who trace his root to either Oyo or ife. I cant remember which.
All this name above were Presdient of the republic of Benin. There are 3 abeokuta. 2 of the three abeokuta are in the Republic of Benin.
Becomricch or whatever your name is, you need to stop posting this nonsense on Nairaland. Take your fantasies somewhere else. Why are you so obsessed with breaking up the country, and who told you that the constitution states that power has to be shared on a tribe-by-tribe basis? You need to take your cooked up maps elsewhere if you dont have anything good to say. By the way what will be the lingua fraca of this "Benin republic" of yours? Ewu!!
Music/RadioRe: Why Do Nigerian Artists Have Poorly Written Songs? by hauler: 9:10pm On Jan 15, 2010
The same can be said about the music scene in the USA, all the so called artists with good lyrical content never get good sales/recognition. Instead you have artists like lil wayne and soulja boy making all the dough. So stop knocking the naija artists. As long as these guys arent out there robbing people or on the 'net pulling 419 schemes they are all right with me. They do a very good job making use of the little technology they can afford.
When was the last time beyonce said something that made sense in a song? But artists like India Arie remain in the shadows.

you are so right! people need to stop with this "4 kids crap" cause that should not be a factor in anything. either someone is more beautiful or they're not.
and people need to not forget that omo and genevieve are about the same age, only that omo had kids earlier and had them pretty much back to back.
so they're about the same age, maybe a 2 year difference.[/color]
