I beg spare us this your PhD nonsense. You can have all the education in the world and still be very stupid and have nothing on top. And please stop bringing in your Jonathan into serious matters. He is inconsequential although better than the lifeless and dullard at Aso Rock right now. Gagare1: |
If you and your Dullard Buhari supporters is alledging that something was removed from the bill sent to the executives, why is it so difficult for you people to post the version confirming the alledged provison that removed the use of card reader. If you have the correct version, why not post it here. He that alledges must provide evidence and not the other way round. If you know better than us why not educate us or its not your responsibility to help us because we are not as intelligent as you people. If you people can only alledge and cannot provide evidence, don Allah ku yi shiru. kaycodes: |
Here is link to the rubbish the propaganda your APC government released recently. - https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/09/electoral-act-amendment-bill-card-reader-tool-for-credible-polls-presidency/ I cannot see any where it was stated that the National Assembly removed the inclusion of card reader. The gentle lady you accused of posting a wrong Bill humbly asked you to provide all of us with the version that removed the card reader but instead of you doing that you keep going on and on about something else. Everything is not politics. If you know more than us, please post the correct version. We are ready to learn but if you cannot provide us with what you alledge to be the correct version, then it may be better for you to abstain from helping your APC with more lies that is easily detected. This link may also help but it may be possible for you to have the current and correct version that your dullard Buhari rejected. - http://placng.org/wp/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/FACTSHEET-ON-THE-ELECTORAL-ACT-AMENDMENT-BILL-2018-AS-PASSED-BY-THE-NATIONAL-ASSEMBLY.pdf Buterflyle0: |

Former vice president and presidential aspirant on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has listed what he considers corruption cases in President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. Abubakar, who defected from the governing All Progressives Congress, APC, to the PDP, stated this in response to a statement by the Presidency. The Presidency had in a statement on Wednesday reacted to Atiku’s claim that the President was power-drunk, saying President Buhari would remain “uncompromising”, especially in the fight against corruption. But Atiku in a statement, yesterday, insisted the president was power-drunk, listing issues that have reflected this. He said: “If the above is true, then why did the presidency do nothing as the Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, went to court to secure a kangaroo court order to stop the Senate of the National Assembly from investigating who recalled, reinstated and double promoted Abdulrasheed Maina? “If President Buhari is ‘uncompromising in cleaning the rot Nigeria was consigned into pre-2015’ then how come the latest Corruption Perception Index by Transparency International reveals that Nigeria is more corrupt today than she was in 2015, having moved 12 steps backwards in Transparency International’s Corruption Perception Index, moving from 136 in 2014 under the PDP to 148 today? “Again, we ask how uncompromising a president can be when he allows a minister accused of forgery to remain at her job?” Abubakar then alleged that Buhari is surrounded by officials who do not tell him the truth. “It appears that the president is surrounded by people who have become his echo chamber and are telling him what he wants to hear, otherwise no one in his right mind would call an administration that increased the price of petrol while at the same time paying more subsidy on the product than the previous government, which it accused of ‘subsidy scam’, uncompromising against corruption. “It is only common sense that if the price of petrol increased by 68 per cent from N87 per litre to N145, then the cost of fuel subsidy should also reduce, especially as the price of crude oil also reduced. However, by some strange mathematics, the Buhari administration pays a whopping N1.4 trillion on subsidy per annum according to the Minister of State for Petroleum.” https://www.palmtreereporters.com/you-are-power-drunk-atiku-tells-buhari-lists-scandals-of-buharis-government/ |
1) His PREVIOUS BIRTHING OF FRESH POLITICAL ELITES. There seems to exist an imaginary political setting that limit the emergence of a common man into the seat of power. This system allows the intra-shifting of powers within the sphere of folks that have been at the helms of power for way too long and have taken them selves as political godfathers thereby prioritizing their own choice of candidate (be it competent or not) leaving an average common man with little or no chances of ever being considered. Saraki birthed this new system in Kwara state and proved to sensible common men that godfatherism is nothing but an agenda designed by selfish politicians to remain relevant politically and an avenue designed by godfather to pick candidates that will open doors of financial rewards ditched out of the government's purse. Ahmed Abdulfatah, Bollaji Abdullahi and many others are parts of the fresh elites built by Saraki. Bolaji Abdullahi once gave insights into his relationship with Saraki, lauding how he took him out of poverty and made him what he is today. Abdullahi also narrated how he was once embarrassed by the head of a prominent family in Ilorin because he was from a poor family, and he stated how Saraki chose to consider his capableness in the stead of the unfair political standards set by many other politicians. A man who believes power shouldn't be limited to the prominent nor should there be continual shifting of power within the same protracted cabals is the man we deserve. 2) HIS POLITICAL IDEOLOGY. Many are quick to say Saraki betrayed his father considering the political dramas that transpired between them.. But then, the cause of the rift and fracas was hardly ever talked about. One wanted to turn power to a family affair whilst another with applaudable ideologies had his state at heart. Many would have sought a wider spread of political relevance by buying the cheap idea of replacing the then Governor of the state with his sister which would have left many wondering if Kwara state politics was some sort of monarchical practices. Bukola expressed dissatisfaction with such move stating how it lacked political rectitude, having to thrust powers between two siblings when there are hundreds of others to pick from. He secondly stated 'how Kwara central has ruled for 12 years whilst other senatorial districts haven't had a chance to. He believes in the balance of power(his core political ideology), he fought for the state's interest while pushing family ties aside. The commoners shouldn't be taken for a fool all in the name of a selfish and personal interest. Little wonder why many celebrated his choice of candidate and Kwara south took over power. A man whose ideology is an embodiment of true democratic practices and a testament to the undying government of the people by the people and for the people and not government of a family by a family and for a family. 3) FAVORABLE GEO-POLITICAL COMBINATION. What this simply means is he stands a higher chance compared to his cohorts while considering a running mate. Picking a running mate from the South East/South is all that he needs to stand out. He is a yoruba man from the North and most definitely a larger percent of the Yorubas would definitely accept him as theirs. And with a running mate from the South East/South he will definitely have very encouraging votes from the two regions and definitely his fellow middle beltans would vote him and a little more vote from the core north. Now if other aspirants are considered say Kwankwaso for instance. If he picks a Yoruba man as his running mate then the Igbos who are hitherto being marginalised would not 'feel-carried-along' and the support will definitely not be massive. If he picks an Igbo man, then the Yorubas would definitely consider being left out and Buhari /Osinbajo will be considered a better alternative and this will not pave way for any massive support. 4) HIS POLITICAL INFLUENCE. Saraki is the only senator who has been able to bring a whole state along with him while defecting. It's not just about the governor of Kwara state but also 23 members of the Kwara state house of assembly. No leader in Nigeria can boast of such influence. This same man also defected with many other senators from his state and other states. .This shows how spread his political influence is. Tambuwal for instance couldn't even deliver 60% of his state talk more of influencing the political systems of other states. 5) HIS POPULARITY. No doubt the major headline of most media outlets has been about Saraki for several months now courtsey of how he rendered the political stance of Tinubu and his cohorts useless starting from his emergence as the Senate president against all odds and to his defection which has been giving the ruling party a run for their power. Being a Senate president has made him a national figure and this has definitely set his popularity on increase more than other candidates, He was also part of the leadership council of the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves an initiative led by the United Nations. Kwankwaso is no doubt very popular up north but little is known about him here in the South. Atiku, Sule Lamido and Tambuwal are the closest while considering national and international recognition just that many other factors won't favour these other guys and most definitely Tambuwal will be better of a Senator. Lamido being a former foreign minister doesn't really mean he is capable of winning a national election. Appointment isn't same as election. 6) HIS SENATORIAL PERFORMANCE He exposed the ‘ corruption scandal’ in the petroleum sector: the fuel subsidy scandal as a member of the 7th Senate. He passed the National Oil Spill and Detection Bill, Response Agency Amendment Bill to make sure oil companies compensate their host communities who suffer the detrimental effects of oil spills. The 8th senate has passed more bills than any previous senate, it has resolved more petitions than all past senates combined, it supported and passed the Not-Too-Young-To-Run bill, opened the NASS budget for public scrutiny; it concluded the Constitution amendment, promoted buy-Nigeria-to-grow-Nigeria and many more under his leadership. 7) HIS TREMENDOUS PAST RECORDS While He was the special assistant to the president on budget and also a member of the economic policy coordination committee, he was able to bring about many economic policies for Nigeria. While he was governor he established Shonga farms programme, initiated reforms to increase agricultural yields and exportations of farm produce in large scales. He completed the first Nigeria independent power project in Kwara state, he re-energized the ganmo power and connected over 3700 communities through installation of 725 transformers and many sub stations. Kwara recorded 90% users of electricity under Saraki and power stability for 18-22 hours a day as against the nation's wrecked power supply. Saraki also achieved remarkable peaks by establishing various health programmes, re-training of medical practitioners, employment of qualified Doctors, building of hospitals and staff quarters. He built Harmony advanced diagnostic center one of the best diagnosis centres in west Africa, he built the first state owned aviation college in Nigeria also developed the Ilorin International Airport Cargo Terminal. He established Kwara state university, upgraded sporting facilities (establishing of Kwara football academy ) and construction of several other roads.. These are just few among many others. None of his cohorts has come any close. Imagine him a president!!. 8.) AGE WISE Amid other favourable factors, his Age is a whole lot to consider. We have had enough of these aged entities robbing us of power. This factor favours Tambuwal(52) and Saraki(55), we can't afford to keep splurging on life support mechanisms for our leaders as though it's their constitutional right. Secondly, considering the youthful factor of Saraki, his previous involvement of fresh elites in Kwara politics and being a huge supporter of 'Not-Too-Young-To-Run Movement' he will definitely involve vibrant and competent youths in the affairs of the nation as against the current set of aged and incompetent coterie appointed under the pretence of change delivery, a charade that has fallen apart. 9) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS We have had enough of dwindling educational system just because most of our leaders gave/give little consideration to good education. The effect of good educational background can't be side lined, it has a way of re-branding societal reformations, governmental policies, democratic dispensations, political rectitude and executorial success. This current administration is a shadow of all these, You can't give what you don't have (No pun intended) . Saraki established Kwara state university and some other educational institutions. These show how his educational background has affected academic settings of Kwara state under his watch. He built a diagnostic center in Kwara state, the best of its kind in the whole of West Africa. We all know Saraki is a Medical Doctor and this has heightened the medical dispensation of Kwara state. He attended Cheltenham College in the United Kingdom and studied at the London Hospital Medical College of the University of London where he obtained his M.B.B.S. Expect same turn around in our dear nation's medical practices. 10) TRUE NATIONALIST WITH EXAMPLARY RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE Religion is a factor that can't be overemphasized in the politics and polities of Nigeria. Only few leaders have shown remarkable religious tolerance and Saraki is one of the few. His mother Florence Saraki and his wife Toyin Saraki are Christians and this different religious affiliation hasn't come in between them. He also showed he has exemplary religious tolerance by allowing his Muslim daughter to marry a Christian husband. This goes a long way to depict the level of religious tolerance that will be enjoyed under him. Other politicians that are worth mentioning are Atiku, Tinubu and Fashola. Though Atiku has some fallouts in this regard. 11) BEING THE NIGHTMARE OF THE RULING PARTY. This is self explanatory. Ask Oshiomole why he has been having sleepless nights. The fear of Saraki is the beginning of political desperation, little wonder why his opposition has come up with different blackmails to curb is political influence. 12) THE SAINT THAT HE IS Propagandism has been the order of the moment as far as politics is concerned. All thanks to our judiciary system whose conferred authority holds the final say irrespective of the tons of propagandas being channelled out. Alhough the current government has little regards for judicial assertions and lawlessness has eaten deeply into our system, the CCT still discharged and acquitted Saraki as the evidence tabled by the federal government was unreliable and was an embodiment of falsehood. The four witnesses brought against him gave contradictory evidence. After much ado, all the 18 charges of corruption and false asset declaration brought against him were dismissed. 13) TO CHANGE THE WRONG POLITICAL PERCEPTION BELIEVED BY MANY. Middle beltans have been knocked out of the democratic settings of the nation except just been considered fit for only the Senate presidential seat and other lower seats. The seat of the president and vice president is just not meant for them as it has been normalized and has been generally accepted to be constitutional even though no part of the constitution states such. Saraki stands to change history and to redeem middle beltan's sense of belonging. They can also be president outside the military settings.. 14) Nigeria with her obstinacy needs a smart and active leader like Saraki and not sluggish and inactive leaders 15) Copyright: Oguntoye Syto Taiwo @Coward_ice |

A detained Nigerian journalist was taken to court barefooted and charged with trespass and stealing police documents, his newspaper has reported. Samuel Ogundipe pleaded not guilty when he was secretly arrainged in court, with no-one present, except the magistrate, police officers and prosecutors, Premium Times reported. “At the court, I requested to speak with my lawyer and employer but they said I should wait until after the proceedings," it quoted Mr Ogundipe as saying. The journalist briefed a colleague and the newspaper's lawyer when they were allowed to see him in a detention facility after his court appearance, the paper said. https://www.palmtreereporters.com/reporter-secretly-charged-to-court-by-nigeria-government/ M Ogundipe was arrested on Tuesday for publishing a briefing police chief Ibrahim Idris had sent to Acting President Yemi Osinbajo about the blockade at the parliamentary complex on 7 August, the Premium Times said. Masked and heavily armed officers from the spy agency prevented lawmakers from entering parliament. No official reason was given for the blockade, but the opposition described it as an attempt to intimidate its lawmakers. More than 50 lawmakers had earlier defected from the ruling party to the opposition. Mr Osinbajo condemned the blockade and sacked spy chief Lawa Daura. The newspaper said it "remained a mystery" why Mr Osinbajo had failed to intervene in Mr Ogundipe's arrest. “Premium Times has a constitutional duty to inform the Nigerian people and hold public officials to account. It will neither be intimidated nor cowed by the filthy antics of the police or the administration," it added. |
If Saraki is that powerful to the extent of making one of the security chiefs to work for him at the expense of a seating president who is supposedly his nephew then dullard Buhari deserves nothing short an impeachment. Daviddson: |
Sure Bukola is not the smartest in Nigeria but without doubt the smartest politician at the moment while the most gullible award goes to the Dullard Buhari and his dumb handlers. LIFEisSIMPLE: |
An Abuja Federal High Court on Wednesday ordered the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris to produce the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu. The Justice Stephen Pam-led court ordered the police boss to arrest Yakubu and produce him during the next adjourned date of the court. This followed the refusal of the INEC Chairman to obey the court’s earlier order. Justice Pam held that the INEC boss should appear before him to explain why he should not be punished for contempt of court. The contempt proceedings were filed by Ejike Oguebego and Chuks Okoye, Chairman and Legal Adviser of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Anambra State respectively. A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Goddy Uche SAN, had told the court that Mahmood deliberately refused to obey the order of appearing in court. During proceedings, the trial judge had sought to know from Adegboyega Awomolo SAN, counsel to INEC Chairman, why his client was not in court. Responding, Awomolo said, “My lord, I don’t know where he is; if Goddy knows, he should go and bring him”. The judge repeated his question: “Chief, where is Prof Mahmood?” Again, Awomolo said, “My lord, it is beyond my brief to produce the INEC Chairman in court. The court has issued a bench warrant against Prof Mahmood, so, let the IGP produce him in court”. Following the failure of the INEC Chairman to show up, the trial judge adjourned for continuation of the contempt proceeding and for the INEC Chairman to show cause why he should not be committed to prison for contempt. Justice Pam noted that the order of August 1st was still subsisting and has not been set aside or discharged. The court noted that counsel to the INEC boss said he did not know the whereabouts of Mahmood. Consequently, Justice Pam ordered the police to bring the INEC chairman to court on August 14. http://dailypost.ng/2018/08/08/court-insists-arrest-inec-chairman/ |

Can not belief that some people are so dumb to this extent. Saraki ordered the siege on Ekiti State House of Assembly. Saraki ordered the siege on Benue State Assembly. Saraki orderd the dawn raid on Judges residences. Saraki ordered the deployment of the army to kill innocent people in the East while failing to order the killing by the Buhari sponsored herdsmen. In fact Saraki ordered the sick holiday for the Dullard Buihari. What else did Saraki ordered? Please tell us. vedaxcool: |

. This is just the beginning of the implosion that PDP will experience till the primaries are over. The fake celebration that we saw between old and new PDP members after the defection is now over. Reality of the struggle for the party tickets has now set in and the fractured unity is exposed. More PDP members will decamp to APC in the days ahead.
