I bought another hot 2 for a friend yesterday, sadly it came with infinix lollipop rom instead of the Android One rom. Now I have tried everything to root it for him to no avail. KingRoot can't root it. Nothing can. He says he prefers the infinix lollipop rom sha, but I have to root it.

Have any of you guys that ported to the infinix lollipop rom been able to root it.?

It was Google chrome I used for the uptobox link. I wonder why I couldn't register on the Mega app, it's not as if my network is poor, it just keeps loading thus; “calculating encryption keys connecting to the server: creating account”

hmmmm....as for mega app....maybe u shld look for a stronger connection or u use a pc then u click download through browser.

dese steps are tool long....i was tryn to post my method earlia...lemme brief it

download dat xposedhot.rar and extract
download flashify from playstore and use it to flash TWRP which is in d extracted file
wen in TWRP mode, flash xposed.zip
restart ur fone and install xposed.apk....thats all


xposed.zip and xposed.apk are in d xposedHOT.rar

Hi guys, I must say this phone has been awesome. I've not got any problem at all with it...well except that I could not update even though the update just keep hanging in my status bar staring right back at me.

I rooted my phone, but few days later I received the alert to update, as a sharp guy na, I unrooted using Kingroot but each time I try to update the 23MB sized, it just takes me to the recovery try to download but just brings up error!

Well, have been also trying to download the stock rom from Infinix site but the only link available is through Mega, which when I try to download for some reason it just stops and there's no way I can download through IDM.

So guys, if anyone has gone through this problem and fixed it could you help a brother out or better still could anyone point me to another link other than Mega. Thanks.
