A professor of Business Education at the Ahmadu Bello
University, Zaria, Mr. Mahmood Aliyu, has declared his
intention to contest the 2015 presidential election on the
platform of the All Progressives Congress.
The don made the declaration at a press conference on
Saturday in Minna.
Aliyu said his decision to vie for the presidency was
informed by the agitation for the emergence of new crop of
leaders “to fight the malaise in the country.
He added, There has been an agitation for the emergence of
new crop of leaders by well-meaning Nigerians in order to
take this country out of problems.’’
The aspirant said APC was the only party that would tackle
the current security challenges bedevilling the country.
He said, “An APC government will tackle the security issue
with all the seriousness it requires and deserves.’’
Aliyu, however, called on the national leadership of the APC
to review the N27m fee for picking the party’s presidential
nomination form.
He said, “Our party should have a rethink about the fee for
presidential nomination forms, so that ordinary Nigerians
can afford it.
“Ordinary people, who have something to offer, get scared
by the amount; even the PDP fee is not up to that of our
party.’’
He described as embarrassing, reports that he was being
sponsored by the ruling PDP to run for president, arguing
that he had always been in the opposition since he joined
politics in 1993.

Two days ago, Household of
God Head pastor Chris Okotie,
called for the resignation of
pastor Ayo Oritsejafor as
President of the Christian
Association of Nigeria, CAN,
over his involvement in the $
9.3million arms deal scandal.

replied him and they started
with, ‘is he a Christian?’ lol.

the Director of National Issues
in CAN, Mr. Sunny Oibe said
Okotie is only looking for
popularity through
Oritsejafor. Oibe said;
“Is Chris Okotie a
Christian? How many
wives has he? He
should go and sort out
himself. Even the
government has
exonerated Pastor
Ayo of all the
allegations. So, who is
Okotie? Well, it is
laughable if Chris
Okotie should
demand that Pastor
Ayo Oritsejafor should
resign as President of
CAN.

somebody’s eyes.
Pastor Ayo had a
soaring integrity
before he was elected

will amount to making

looking for popularity
which he doesn’t have
through Pastor Ayo

get it.”

Culture, therefore influences in some unique ways and a nation’ policies, transfer of knowledge, skills, conservative capabilities of the elders and periodic orientation of the youth in preparing them for the future through education and training goes a long way in preserving a nation and making its youth vibrant. We intend to stand as a force and a voice for millions of Nigerian youth
and bridge a gap between the present leaders,  successful entrepreneurs and various individuals from every walk of life, who have done extremely well in lifting the nation higher around the world through their doggedness and determination for success. We are known as a movement that preaches peace, unity, youth enlightenment, education, and re-orientation against drug abuse, violence, working in hand with security operatives to making sure that conflict is resolved whenever there is any, and as well bringing crime to the minimal level.
