THE KINGDOM OF THE LORD IS NOT THERE, IS NOT HERE, BUT IT IS WITHIN



Jesus spoke in one of the synoptic gospels, Luke 17: 20-21 that:
"The kingdom of the Lord is not there, the kingdom of the Lord is not here, the kingdom of the Lord is within."

The question now is that where exactly can the kingdom of the Lord be in you? Will it be in your liver, your kidney, your intestine? God forbid and far be it.
The ultimate place that God want to establish is kingdom in you is your HEART.
God said in the book of Joel 2 : 12
"Even now," declares the LORD,
"return to me with all your
heart, with fasting and weeping
and mourning.

He also said in the book of john 14:23 that:
"
Anyone who
loves me will obey my
teaching. My Father will love
them, and we will come to
them and make our home
with them."

It is God greatest delight to make our heart is habitation and his kingdom.
But before we can really experience this, you have to live in the realm, which is not just limited to praying, but meditating.

Too many pastors emphasises on prayer and fasting while only but a few pastors make adequate and proper reference to meditation.

Prayer may gain you a connection to heaven, but cannot guarantee you living in that realm. This is where you actually need meditation, because meditation produce revelation. This is the realm that you can actually claim that you are in the world and not of the world. Meaning, you become an heavenly host on earth.

As a christian, you have to live in the conciousness of experiencing heaven in your system, in your environment, and within you.


YOUR HEART IS HEAVEN!


At the moment that you recognize your heart to be paradise, you begin to treasure it above every other thing else.
You begin to make use of intangible resources of the heart rather than the limited resources of tangible components.
This is because God's kingdom is not up in the sky, not beneath in the ocean, but within you (in your heart).


WHAT IS MEDITATION?

There has been several misconceptions about the intangible components of man.

Philosophically, it was proclaimed that man think, reason, and meditate with his heart while it was proved wrong in the biblical context.

In the bible, thought and meditation are said to be carried on in the heart, as all inner impulse and activities does have a direct connection with the heart.
The heart is also used as a metaphor for spirit oftentimes in the bible. And that is what really qualifies the heart to be the greatest component of a man.

Basically, meditation imply the means of transforming the mind.
And in an ellaborative way, it was define by an online encyclopedia as a practice in
which an individual trains the
mind or induces a mode of
consciousness, either to realize
some benefit or for the mind
to simply acknowledge its
content without becoming
identified with that content,[1]
or as an end in itself.

However, this defination may be untrue in biblical reference. Although, it depends on what you are meditating on.

Meditation is beyon thinking. It is a realm. It is the sphere that you begin to engage your inner being (spirit and soul) to live. It is the greatest spiritual blessing that anyone can ever recieve. This is a point that you began to worship Jesus in spirit and truth, and also a stage that you will be priviledged to have a direct communication with the Holy Spirit.


HOW TO MEDITATE

There is no logical how-to-do guide provided for this but just considering it a life on its own.

Joshua 1:8 clearly gives to us the insight on what to really meditate upon. You meditate on God's word with a free spirit (peace of heart).
You pray and fast before you start meditating and not just propelling yourself into it out of carnality.
You meditate on the rema of the word and not just the logos in order to draw revelation.

But according to a popular Nigerian prophet (Prophet TB Joshua), he admonished us to use something on the outside to prevent us from distraction. You are used and familiar with your phone, your laptop and other forms of electronic devices, and not Jesus. You served those devices each day than you will ever serve God.

He also claimed the possibility of meditating in your heart and at the same time responding to your immediate environment.

He left us with some few words to meditate upon.

"Lord, give me more of you and take more of me"

This is because we are full of ourselves and not God.
Specifically, it can be uttered like this:

"Lord, give me more of your righteousness and take from me my unrighteousness."

This may also include the fruit of the spirits, using it in reverse to that of the flesh.

At this point, you can be abruptly unconcious and began to draw relvelation from the heavenly realm.
It also prevents you from being carry away as a christian, and always living under the conciousness of heaven on the heart, saints amoung sinners, sheep amoung goats, and angels in the form of a man.

With this, you execise all power and authority in the world through christ.

Absence of Evidence doesnt necessarily mean evidence of absence. Heaven definitely exists, esp to those of us that truly bliv in it. .....not up in the sky nor down in the ocean or earth but within our hearts is where we find heaven.

Thank God, you used the phrase Common Sense, now if you can use common sense for that, why cant you use common sense for the ideas of a spirit being in the sky who is like a man and breathes air in space, or a talking snake, or the sun standing still, or the virgin birth, or someone walking on water...these are things that defy logic and all that we know and funny enough, no direct evidence of these things happen, just some guy who wrote some stuffs in a parchment some 2000years ago. So i am suppose to believe all these on faith but i am not allowed to believe 5 + 4 = 12 on faith?
