Good, this is what I expect to see, not some bags carrying the picture of a governor.
For me, It's not attractive to see a product co-bearing the name of a state: Anambra rice, bolder than product details.
Before you know it. It will Benue rice, Jigawa rice, kebbi rice, Ekiti rice... is that meant to be some species of rice or what??

I did first harvest and the second and I'm so happy even though I was disappointed when I was swindled by market women,the first day of my sale.
I sold a bag for 2300 but I swear never to go to them again unless I can sell upscale.
I went to places, I discovered some upscale eatery buy in kg and 1 I eventually had a deal buys for 200/kg

Hello farmers in house, i am a fresh graduate who has 4 acres of land i wish to go into farming on. However i have a challenge, the farm land is always waterlogged whenever it rains. During dry season the farm land is absolutely fine.

Please i need suggestions on anything that can be planted that would be best suitable for the waterlogged farm land and also survive well during dry season.

I would sincerely appreciate all suggestions.

What is the depth of the water log and for how long does the water stay on? If it's not too deep, u can use raised beds/ridges, other wise u can use a rigged pattern that will dispose the water as quickly as then form. That way u can plant any crop of interest.

We counted them from where we bought them from and had them labelled for each pond each pond carriers approx 4,700 pieces of fish. The water is continous and keeps draining itself naturally that is why it is earthen pond. the water was not drained on purpose but it drained itself and fresh one came out after liming and manuring the pond.

it's either you are lying or something else is happening. Cos Nigeria doesn't have this type of jet in this ur picture. What else are you not telling us?

Now after all of that I have stocked the pond with 18,500 pieces of Juveniles not fingerlings. Fingerlings are too fragile for earth pond and would require heavy sorting after one month. juveniles of about 4-6 weeks old were procured at 20 naira each from Kado market in abuja from a reliable dealer. From the market to the farm the fishes were transported and are now 1 week old with a mortality of 18 so far minus cannibalism but so far so good the fishes are active and have adapted to the environment and feeding pattern all thanks to God and no problem from the community.

And, before you introduced the fish, did u drain the ponds because of the initially present water after digging?
