Na wa o. Buhari never forced anyone to attach his pictures to theirs. In fact people willingly attached Buhari’s photos to theirs so they can benefit from the love northerners had for Buhari.

It's not even a matter of forcing anyone or not. Buhari had a similar effect in the North that Peter Obi has in the South and even in the North Central. Just contesting in his party and hiding under his name was sufficient to win elections, even without spending one Naira.

If you remove him via poll/ revolution one of 2 things must happen.

1. The new president will sign new revamped agreements with the buyers of Nigeria. And the slavery continues.

2. The new president will cancel all previous agreements and make his own plans or even decide to liberate Nigeria.

If he sold Nigeria, the question is, for what? Who 'pocketed' what France and the other buyers 'paid' for Nigeria?

If a new leader takes over next year as must happen, that leader, be it Atiku or Obi, is under no compulsion to renegotiate with illegitimate buyers of something that wasn't for sale in the first place. An unpopular, divisive president removes fuel subsidy in this first term, causing fuel prices to increase by 500%.... Yet he wants to win reelection. No be juju be that?

Only very strong presidents with nationalistic bent or street credibility like Obasanjo or Buhari could have successfully removed subsidy, and even at that it would have been in their second term.

A blighted character like tinibu thinking that he can casually blurt 'subsidy is gone' on his very first day in power and get away with it is spectacularly deluded. This has nothing to do with power of incumbency or money. He is an emperor with legs in quicksand. He is not deeply rooted, as he will learn very shortly.

And that's why "neutral zones" like the South South and North Central come in handy. Because they are generally enlightened and can be deemed objective since they have no dog in the fight. Who did they vote for and who will they vote for?

The only state in this list that Tinubu can manage to win outright without INEC manipulation is Ogun State.

And I use 'INEC manipulation' intentionally rather than rigging because that is the only form of rigging that can work for the immensely hated and despised Tinubu. Vote buying, thuggery, voter intimidation and other forms of malpractice will simply not be enough to deliver victory to him.

It has to be direct manipulation of votes /writing of results right from inside INEC. So Nigerians need to know exactly where to direct their fury.

He will lose woefully. The only wave to ride for National Assembly election candidates in Abia State is Peter Obi's wave, and the beneficiaries will largely be NDC candidates.

Since the presidential election and National Assembly election will hold same time z everybody will be looking for Peter Obi's party to vote for, and they will thumbprint NPC throughout.

Only State Assembly candidates in Abia will benefit from the Alex Otti wave.
