Politics › Re: 2027: Peter Obi Is Lazy — Segun Showunmi by Hedonisco: 9:11am On Feb 01 |
aswani: A post that doesn't deify Peter Obí from a Yoruba man is going to generate lots of abuse to that person.
Obidients wouldn't bother countering any of his points, they will simply focus on insulting and attacking him.
So so predictable. A yoruba man has no business criticizing Peter Obi while a monstrous being like Tinubu is the president. Make it make sense. There's enough things to criticize about Tinubu who shouldn't be near the presidency but is in power. It is despicable to leave him and focus on Peter Obi. |

We will never forget these insults, however long it takes. Everything would be amplified and then repaid by an order of magnitude. And any 'sorry' would attract 10x intensity.
And may God help whatever so-called Igbo leader then who purports to preach forgiveness or letting things go when tomorrow comes. Such a person would suffer a worse fate than those referred to as 'sabo' during the dark days of the Civil War. |

bigpicture001: It's a pity that one of his sons who studied business administration in the US and is wasteful, knowing the old man is now weak, mobilized a family pressure meeting to encourage him to hand over the riegns of diamond bank to him to manage..
He refused. but after much pressure from evryone and a seemingly first hand experience he allegedly got through his deputized Yoruba guy who leads the bank effectively on his behalf.. he believed the young man..
The young man instead went into flamboyant lifestyle , failed to constantly monitor the banks other executives and ran the bank amock..
The bank was flagged by the CBN for instability, he caution his son ND tried to bright back his fmr assistance who refused to come back.. he fought foot and nail to get the bank to be healthy again
Yes , he succeeded, but it was during Emefiele era, yes, during wigwe the connection man era.. their eyes were already on his bank to take over. Meaning, no matter what he does, he will b ordered to sell the bank .
He painfully sold the bank he created from scratch and cried in a national t. V show... Wigwe the connection man bought it over straight and expanded access..
His careless son then delved into the then emerging fin tech world and created the fintech bank "carbon" which didnt also fly..
He was paid the enourmous value of his bank.. but that is not what he wanted.. he wanted a dynasty...
It is almost certain that wigwe will die someway or the other.. he broke alot of heart with his connections..
Also his heartbreaking forceful purchase of intercontinental bank.. using emir sanusi..
Wigwe hurt alot of people and so u know his end will come sooner rather than later Wigwee yes, but especially that monstrous AIG. These guys were vipers, and the bigger viper among them is still alive. Rapacious monsters who abused Nigeria's weak institutions to deploy so-called connections to their advantage. That's why a mere shark (Access) could swallow two whales (intercontinental and Diamond). Since they ultimately became richer than all the deities in their respective villages, it is ironic that the money could not buy godlike immortality for one, and certainly subsequently for the other. |

When other countries are using high level Ai to monitor threats, build scenarios, and even execute missions - and even build 'discombobulators', you are here talking rubbish. If the military doesn't have the capacity to easily detect what is Ai and what isn't, then what the hell are they useful for? |

This is kindergarten analysis. If you understand the demography of Peter Obi's support base, you wouldn't engage in such puerile postulation.
If Peter Obi is not on the ballot, then obidients are not interested. His political currency is not transferable. |

ChiefOloye: I agree that a combination of Atiku and Obi would be a potent team. Where I disagree with you is your suggestion of a single term for Atiku followed by another single term for Obi. I laughed at your baby sense of Nigerians and Nigeria’s political patterns. In Nigeria, politics is a personal project only during campaigns; the moment you win, you become the project of your tribe, religion, and ethnic group. Even if Atiku agreed to govern for just four years, I would bet that he would renege a few months after assuming office, because his supporters and sycophants having grown accustomed to power and will not want to relinquish it after only 48 months. His ethnic base would also insist that it is their turn to enjoy a full tenure in Aso Rock.. Perhaps you think after all these years of marginalisation, disrespect and struggle for power, an Igboman will become President, only to give up after 4 years, then Igbos will thereafter wait for another 4 decades to get to Aso Rock again. So, that idea should be discarded; it simply will not work While I agree with you, Nigeria is at crossroads, and a lot of wisdom is required. Atiku is old already, and his lifelong dream has been to become president. And it is not even the turn of the North yet, so he is actually jumping the queue. He can and should be able to do one term. However during his term, he can engineer a constitutional amendment to institute a single term of 5 years for Nigerian presidents after him. So if Obi enters, by default he will serve 5 years and then back to the north. It is actually easy to arrive at straightforward, mutually acceptable, 'ojoro cancel' agreements if we can all rein in greed and unreasonableness. |

Nobody gives a shit about Tinubu and you shouting Tinubu's name morning till night (if you like you can strip naked at midnight and scream his name) won't change anything.
Nobody gives a shit about amala.
However, you are free to continue to he frustrated. Aluwe, ojabo si gutter....ewa wo, koto lo. There will always be signs, and the signs are not only visible. They stink. Politics › Re: How Atiku's Greed Is About To Hand Tinubu A Second Term by Hedonisco: 7:10pm On Jan 22 |
AMINDA: The labour party has recognised the Nenadi faction of LP and Turaki is now the recognised Chairman of the PDP. Obi is not being held down in the ADC against his will. The ADC will conduct a transparent primary to select its presidential candidate and no one will step down for anyone, except by their will. Obidients didn't even know Obi was part and parcel of the ADC until he publicly declared it in Enugu. It will be best to manage your expectations lest you get disappointed. An Atiku/Obi ticket is what will have to happen, with Iron clad agreements. Atiku will get the presidency he has craved all his life. But it will not be another Fulani mafia, 'cabal' presidency. Peter Obi as Vice President will have to be the most powerful Vice President in Nigeria's history, especially in the economic sphere, with sweeping powers to initiate and implement economic policies. These agreements will have to be worked out in black and white. All these talk about Obi or nothing is part of the much needed 'confuse them' political rhetoric. We have to beat this obnoxious Tinubu and his APC bandits at their own devious game. |

The way some people make up laws and decide to impose them on everyone else as if they are God.
So Atiku Abubakar has no right to contest?
So Rotimi Amaeachi has no right to contest?
So nobody else has any right to contest except your candidate, because you are the only one in the world and everybody must do as you say?
Does this actually make sense to you?? Your amala imput is not needed here. Go to any Tinubu thread and praise sing him there as your tribal god that he is. You people are irritating with the kobo kobo corner corner sense you think you have. |
