It actually changes from the year to year. But yes, UNN should be better based on the money being given to it. But Academically, it's still top notch. It's just the structure that's not up to par with some universities.

So, in the past weeks, i saw a couple of threads showcasing various Nigerian universities in Pictures and i must say i was impressed by most if not all.

I personally visited the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus and i thought that i document it both in pictures and images.

Basically, i just drove around the school and i was most impressed with the vegation and environment but not so much about the structures.

But I just told you now that they are in grades. What I am telling you is that it is cheaper in Ajah and environs. With a total package of N500k you can get a 1 bedroom apartment in a gated estate. Could be a little cheaper in less urbane areas in the same location.

That is how you have them in grades on the Island. In some places, a 1 bedroom flat can cost a million bucks rent per year. The cost of a 1 bedroom apartment in Ikoyi, VI, Banana Island or Lekki Phase 1 & 2 is likely to be 2 to 5 times the cost of the same apartment in Ajah. And remember that serviced parents cost more. But the environment, the quality of the people and everything are breathtaking.

I know what the cost of houses are in Lekki Phase 1 and 2, VI, Ikoyi ad Banana Island. That's why i limited my question to places around Ajah and Ibeju Lekki.

I searched for a 3 bedroom flt in Ajah yesterday and for a very good house, i was seeing somewhere around 1.2 million which is the same price you would get a 3 bedroom flat of similar in and around Ogba/Ojodu.

Doesn't it depend on the part of mainland? I would understand places like Abule Egba and Alagbado but places around Ikeja are pricy.

Ikorodu just seems backward to me. No offence to people who live there.

If your mind is made up, then move. While Lagos is Lagos, if you want to expand your thinking, see a new world different from the Mainland, come to the Island. You will get a place in Badore, Sangotedo and others that you can afford depending on your budget. But the cost of rent for a 3 bedroom might be what you'll pay for a one-bedroom apartment. But is it worth it, you can say that again.

Do you mean that the cost of a 3 bedroom in Ajah area is the same cost you would get a bedroom on the mainland?

Btw, how does AJah compare too Ikorodu because i've been to Ikorodu and i don't really like the place.

So, basically, i have lived in Lagos Mainland most of my life and i'm more familiar with the area. But in recent times with the rise of rent in most parts of the mainland, i've been looking for a part of Lagos with relatively affordable rent. I know that some parts the mainland such as Iyana Ipaja, Abule Egba, Agbado, Alagbado and it;s environs are cheaper compared to areas in and around Ikeja. But the thing is that i really don't fancy these areas. I even know people that have moved to as far as Otta. These places do not tick my fancy.

I've heard a lot about Ajah, 3rd roundabout, Chevron Drive and i've never been to these places in my life. The farthest i've been to is probably second roundabout or the roundabut after Lekki Phase 1. I've noticed that a lot of people live in these places. How is it comparable in terms of quality of life and cost of living as compared to the mainland and how far are these places really?

I want to make a bolg move by moving to that part of Lagos if it actually presents what i want. I've been searching for houses online in places such as Badore, Sangotedo, Abraham Adesanya and the lots. How are these places really? Are they worth leaving the mainland for?

As Rivers state indigene born and bred there, though married to a south east state, I am well grounded about the total makeup of the south south state and IPOBs should learn.
1, Rivers state is not an Igbo state, it is erroneous to assert that , it is a multi ethnic state comprising of kalabaris, okrikas, ikwerres, Etches, Ogbas, Ekpeyes, Elemes, Ogonis etc
yes the ijoid sub-tribes there affirm a solidarity to Ijaw nation , likewise the ogonid sub-tribes affirm theirs to ogoni nation except for a little denial in eleme but There is NO strong or firm solidarity to the Igbo nation from any rivers tribes, the few little solidarity comes from egbemas in Onelga and we ASA/NDOKIS in Oyigbo, the reason why is because we still have our kit and kin in ukwa west, ukwa east and ohaji egbema LGAs.
The ikwerres, Ogbas,Ekpeyes,Ndonis,Etches Are recognised officially as an independent tribes in Rivers state, and since as a people, they have vehemently denied being Igbos , their decisions must be respected by IPOBs,
ikwerres are ikwerres
Ekpeyes are Ekpeyes etc case closed.

2, Port Harcourt is not an Igbo city,
you can't refer pH as an Igbo city just because of the ikwerre factor there when the ikwerres over the years have denied affinity with Igbos,
PH belongs to rivers tribes, case closed and there was no time in history it was officially registered as Igweocha, that was a nickname just like some call it Pitakwa.
3, Rivers state should be counted out of your biafran ipob map because at the mention of that name, many wounds that was sustained during the war gets opened up again,
wake up to reality and stop deceiving yourself, Rivers state government and even Rivers state council of traditional rulers have warned you IPOBs yet you irritants don't want to learn. is Alright,
4,The governor nyesom wike is not an Igbo man but Ikwerre man ,he has never claimed Igbo,
he is a bit Igbophobic, go and read about his igbophobic records as obio akpor local government chairman,
this same wike renamed a stadium after yakubu Gowon,. a man whose war actions killed many Igbos yet wike immortalised him ,yet your afara born direction keep deceiving you about wike on radio Biafra, you don't yet want to have sense.

5, The state is still Igbophpbic,case closed,

Hello guys, so yesterday the lockdown that had lasted about 4 weeks i Lagos was eased a bit for people to move about and many of us did not expect it to go out of hand.
