The only thing left for him now is to truly give his life to Christ. So that even if he doesn't survive the constant bashings he's sure to receive, he'll still be safe.

Have you stayed in the north?

Read my post again this time slowly and not with the intent to criticise. I said religious and morally blessed.

HV stayed in the north and most of my friends are Hausa's Fulani etc . some of them will swindle you of your money without blinking an eye. And I said its not about tribe or religion. If you are good you are too and if you are bad you are bad. If you are conversant with nairaland or news, you will read about good Samaritans returning folks money in the airport etc does that mean all of them are Hausa's? I remember my first time going to sabo to greet a friend, I took a bus from kasua in Kaduna. It should not cost more than 70 naira but the conductor said deri de hamsin .dz 150. I stupidly paid him coz I didn't know the price. There was also a time I entered Kaduna late around 11 was coming from lag and resuming the second DAy. I was going to a course mates place in Angwan rimi from ABC bus park in Station roundabout (if you know Kaduna well, you will understand the distance) . the keke I hailed told me his collecting 5k .coz its night and I can't really get anoda keke easily. I was close to been stranded I had to beg him to 3k. A journey that should be below 300 naira.

My point is if you are good you are good forget tribe, religion and stereotype.
Funny enough Kaduna people are not real Hausa people so sorry bro you got swindled by men parading themselves as Hausa men

plus if you got a bitter experience in states like Kaduna or Kano there is no difference btwn Lagos n that side. the real Northern people / Hausa are in kebbi gombe, bauchi, Sokoto etc

OK I don't HV strength to type. But HV been in the north since 10years of age and I can tell you categorically HV been to almost all states in the north except few. I still got swindled by a bike man in bauchi last December. Went to the game reserve with some of my course mate. And when entering bauchi, we lost our way and we hailed a bike to direct us there while we drive behind. He charged us triple the price coz we were naive and even took us through a longer route.

And like I said earlier the Muslim religion and northern Culture has a lot of good effect on the northerners. That's y they rarely cheat except the bad ones Also the Christian religion and western culture talking of odu IFA has a lasting effect on the Yoruba's that's y they hardly cheat unless the bad ones.

My point is forget the fact that a tribe don't cheat. If we open a thread about Hausa's swindling people you will be shocked at testimonies of people staying in the north. Been a cheat is not about tribe its about the individual believe. I respect your school of though please respect mine.

Modified:

I once opened a thread about how some folks I tried helping Stoke and cheated from me they were all Hausa's and can't even communicate in English. I lost my wallet etc to them. But Allah ya isah
Yes you're right I should respect ur thoughts and sorry about what was stolen from you.....i just hope ur refunded double of it by God

Maybe not. an average Hausa man his a very religious man who won't cheat you. And average religious and morally blessed Yoruba or Igbo man won't cheat it as well.

Its not about the tribe its about the individual mindset. I grew up in zaria and HV met lots of bad Hausa men in PZ to Kofan-doka. Those who will take advantage of your naivety and coin you of your hard earned money. I still school in the north Kaduna and some of my course mate who are even Hausa's are just so confused and liars. My point is its not about tribe. If you are good u r good and if you are bad you are bad
Not really True but still you can't compare that of Northern people to that of Igbo people or Yoruba's plus Kano is just like Lagos the economy hub of the North so expect more cheat from some Hausa guys there not that they grew up with it but they learnt from other tribes who do same there

if you want to live free from cheat or scam and find trust worthy people visit stated like Kebbi, Gombe, Sokoto, Jigawa, Bauchi and Adamawa you'll hardly find things like this there except for those Igbo guys but the funny thing is when they try poo like cheat/scam there they either get beaten to pulp or sometimes killed. that's why other tribes behaves themselves anytime they're there

all I wanted to sit with her and to talk sense with her but she wasn’t even interested all she could do was shouting at me , accusing me of sleeping with both my nieces and the elderly house help , was so angry that I have beaten her badly
The best part of the story I ever read

Mrcashman87:
which I later regretted and apologise to her.
This was total uncalled for and the mistake you ever made in marriage was to be too weak and to gentle for ur wife. I'm not saying you should maltreat ur wife but atleast ur wife must have a reason to fear you and respect it will always help in ensuring she doesn't tresspass, despite the fact ur a good husband. you shouldn't appear to weak to a woman no matter how gently the woman might be they'll always take advantage of it...its in their blood

Mrcashman87:
Please my brothers and sisters help me with your advices
Sorry to say ur now living with somebody who's now a sub human and any other trial to keep begging her would just make ur position in the house worthless and would always insult you in front of the children. if it were me I know what I'll do but living with such a woman under ur roof not her roof is suicidal esp with the fact she's hot tempered

that all I have to say. YOLO

contumely2:
I am a man in late 20's.
I grew up in lack. I suffered so much growing up. In fact, at a point the court had to eject us and threw our properties on the streets for inability to pay rent.

School fees were paid in instalments. Not like the fees were much even. But the funds were never there.

God has blessed me reasonably in the past few years. I made a lot of sacrifices too, denying myself pleasure, delaying gratification etc.

Lately, I noticed that I have been extravagant. Some of the extravagance is masked as charity to people.

I hardly say no requests and I empathise and pity people a lot.

If I lend money to 10 persons, only 3 will pay back.

I also buy some things on impulse; without planning. I regret some of these purchases later.

HOW DO I STAY motivated so as to save more to invest because the future is uncertain. And money is not always there?

I also understand that those we help may abandon us in time of need.

I don't want to learn the hard way.

Kindly share your experiences with grace to grass; or with people you helped in times of plenty.

Or your regrets with finances especially early in life.

Thanks!
Chai man is speechless at the moment......but my prayers for you bro is that as God have brought you up and have mercy on you may evil workers never know ur limit and may their evil expectations towards you be frustrated IJN

I really understand how growing up was for you I really do....may ur coast be expanded bro. bless up

If you ban ownership of firearms guess what? Criminals don't obey laws, meaning the only people with firearms are criminals and the government. Which brings us to a situation like Nigeria where you can be robbed at your home or in your car and there's no defense. Banning firearms will never work but tougher laws and more monitoring is the key. Everyone that owns a firearm should undergo yearly renewal where there mental and physical health is tested, every firearm sold should be equipped with a remote disarm mechanism that the FBI can shut down at any time using the serial number or the chip ID. Any child that obtains a firearm left around by a parent or another adult and commits a crime with it should be jailed for 10 years and above. There are more measures that can be put in place but banning guns outright is a suicidial decision in America right now.
Lol this ur idea about chip or remote disarm mechanism should be outta possible solutions coz a criminal would not tell you he/she wants to attack a particular place plus if as an FBI ur looking to lock down a gun from shooting you'll be wasting time as many souls would be gone bfr u can even try

the best solution is nothing really can be done coz NRA wouldn't want this to end as Trump himself also values his life more than anything I'll just say RIP to the many more who would still fall
