Demeanor of a narcissistic person, or demeanor people who have other personality disorders exhibit, shouldn't be mistaken for demeanor of a person with self-esteem (healthy self-esteem). Narcissism breeds illusory high self-esteem, a variant of low self-esteem, and demeanor of someone in this regard is at best self-arrogated high-esteem, it is always toxic - an uninformed/insane person can easily mistake such demeanor for that of a person with healthy self-esteem, but the difference is always clear to informed/sane people.

A self-arrogated high-esteem person usually justifies his/her illusory high self-esteem by exhibiting imperiousness, while propagating selfishness and subjugation of the opposite gender and meting out same against the ones he/she can - of course, toxicity and hypocrisy are their major hallmark.

Meanwhile, self-esteem (healthy self-esteem) as an end product of dignity is earned when dignity is maintained and protected - to maintain and protect dignity, one must conquer egoism and egotism. Conscientiousness is the hallmark of someone with a healthy self-esteem - it is never toxic.

All wannabe alpha males and wannabe feminists - proclaimed or not - possess self-arrogated high-esteem, you know them through their hypocritical and toxic demeanor.

Realistically a lady between 26 - 29 years should have a job of atleast 70 - 80k in today's Nigeria. What do you bring to the table if your earning power is just 30k ehn? WHAT?!

This got me angry. Anyway, maybe you mean 70 - 80k per week, because I do not see how someone earning between that range a month could be proud of herself, if it is all about money as you make it seem.

The earlier you accept the bitter truth that the man has never been in love with you genuinely, and that you don't have what it takes to command his soft spot, the better for you - this doesn't automatically make neither you nor him a bad person. Both of you have never been mutually in synchronization and altruism. He can do better though, since both of you are already married, regardless of the circumstances that necessitated the marriage. He lacks humaneness.

Only a man who has always been genuinely in love with you - a man who fell in love with you because of your innate quality (attribute/immaterial thing) - can move mountains for you at any point in time, regardless of your financial standing and overall condition.

You've to continue to sort yourself out.
