Ariza: Share what? na money ni? I broke o, just in case Ok, let's flip it for clarity's sake. If I tell you that matriarchy exists, the onus is on me, the claimant, to show an observable, and verifiable evidence proving the existence of matriarchy. Now exchange matriarchy with patriarchy. You get the point. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Ariza: Equality is like a buffet to women (feminists), where they pick the nice stuff they want and leave the leftovers for men to eat With every struggle they complain about, men have their own version, and even worse. It is so common and accepted that people are even shocked when men speak up. Stoicism is expected, which is to suffer in silence and be strong still. A telling example is that hundreds of thousands of men have died in the hand of boko haram, and no one cares, but with the chibok girls, the whole world started screaming ''bring back our girls. And I asked, what about the boys? this is one example of how male problems are ignored. Though, I won't expect airhead feminists to think at this angle. 19 Likes 9 Shares |

emmaodet:E no hard at all oooooo I don't know why everyone take this life too seriously. Funny enough, Women are the most difficult gender to fight for. Most will never be straight with you, they tell you they want freedom but won't work. They want respect but most see acts of chivalry as weakness. They want equality but not responsibilities. They want to be treated like queens but most act like bi.tches on SM. Lol the most annoying ones are the abused ones, I learnt not to meddle in couples affairs the hard way years ago. Unfortunately, she's suffering a lot in her marriage now. Me I just dey look from afar. Kini temi? But still, to them Men are the evil ones. SMH. Writers and People like Op should focus more on teaching women self esteem, Value, Integrity, Dignity , self development, self realization and Independence and leave Men out of their issues. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

pansophist: Because men/Boys just like cows(Bull and calves), Broilers and Cockrels (Male version of chickens) etc are disposable. The layers chicken that lay eggs are more important to a farmer and they keep them longer than broilers and cockrels, likewise male cows been sold regularly to avoid over population than female cows, it also applies in pigs, rabbits, goats etc. I am a farmer and know this first hand. Society,Nature places more value on females be it human or animal than man but the women scream victimhood the most. 4 Likes 1 Share |

emmaodet: A friend wanted me to be a vegan and she sent me a video on youtube titled '' dominion'', to watch and I even saw that in animal farms, even female gets the good treatment than the male. Billions of goats, cows, in fact, most animals are killed annually a few hours after birth simply because they are male. They have no value whatsoever. Chicken is even worse, the male (roosters) are grinded alive a few hours after birth, and disposed of, while the females are retained. Of my head, I can list some legislations legally backed by law and transposed in almost all country's constitution that women enjoy, but I haven't seen the opposite. I can only wonder how messed up one has to be mentally to see everything from the prism of victimhood. 14 Likes 5 Shares |

pansophist:I think Men or at least Male Child should be encouraged to speak out more. That, and moderate societal expectations/demands from male children should be encouraged. More attention should be paid on Male child's emotional, physical, and mental well being. Sometimes I wonder why prisons, remand homes, police stations etc have more males than females. I wonder why Men die faster, why men get involved in crimes, rituals etc more. Then i realize, the major cause is societal pressure. While the Female is groomed to be a barbie doll with hymen, the Male is expected to be a successful Man who will provide for himself, his family, his relatives and Barbie. Heaven help him if he fails, lol even his kind will mock him. It's really not fair. @bolded, well I'm guilty of that too. I've never seen Bolo haram situation that way. Hmmmmm. You are always neutral or see things from both ways and i appreciate that and you are mostly likely not to have it easy with your gender because they may feel you are biased. Ishilove: I was going to type a long epistle before I saw this. This author is apt and 100% on point. Like I always say, the average Nigerian woman's marriage or relationship with men is what she makes of it. Women use the phrase 'na im wife dey control am' even more than men. Or the fact that the woman goes ahead to train her sons like the man she complains about? Crazy lots, the men & the women. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

doitforyou: You’re deceiving yourself. Feminism and feminists only exist on nairaland,Facebook,Twitter, whatsapp and Instagram. (Referring to Self acclaimed Nigerian feminists ) Offline, majority of Nigerian women don’t want power. They want to be below men ,socially, politically and in the family level. I’ve said it before and will keep saying it that patriarchy still exists today because women are tolerating/encouraging it knowingly and unknowingly. 6 Likes |

Ladies are at the mercy of their own self esteem and self worth,SOME ladies see and treat themselves like rag, don't comport themselves well and blame men for how they view them. Empower a lady with rights, she will not use it to improve herself, become the first female president, change history but rather use it to shake her bum bum on internet and when you don't value them you are called misogynistic. People who deserve honor, get honor, not all men and women should get honor, but the ones that deserve it. I call dead beat dads, wife beaters, men that cheat irresponsible... I will also call girls that aren't responsible irresponsible What you women want is respect and value no matter what for being a woman, but a man has to earn respect. there have always being enough narrative for responsible men,how they should act and behave but when you hold ladies to some standards you are oppressing them Live your life the way you want but don't force us to value you. As long no one harms you or rape you,no one owes you honor if you don't merit it. If I sleep with you and dump you ,I have done no wrong in the eyes of the law except the sex was not consensual. Coming online to rant and guilt trip men will change nothing. Ladies value yourselves 12 Likes 1 Share |

funmisticqueen2: By nature women have self esteem issues,It had nothing to do with society. If a lady gets a job slot, she will rather give her man than herself. Most ladies don't lie about being rich, they lie about their men being rich. They prefer him succeeding and giving her out of his money than her herself having such wealth. Ask a women to be a millionaire or have her man be a millionaire, she will rather prefer to be called "wife/girlfriend of a millionaire" than be one herself... How can you be sent to university and instead of reading you are cooking, cleaning, washing and giving a man sex ? People will claim that they both enjoyed themselves but do men clean and cook for women? Do you know the psychology of men during sex? Each time I mount on a lady in the past what runs through my mind is that "I will smash her,I will satisfy myself fully, whether she gets an orgasm is not my business" and after several sex I see her as a piece of trash,I see her as who "I conquered"... I only stopped this when I fell in love. Teach ladies to improve their self esteem! 3 Likes |
Re: The Fine Art Of Being A Baboon by Kingarthur21: 9:41am On May 01, 2020 |
funmisticqueen2:all you listed are not men fault but women self esteem at play...no one in current day has empowered men to be polygamous, it is women that take trash. Who stopped them from walking away from a cheating spouse? I will walk away if my lady cheats,if I cheat she should walk away! Rape, domestic violence et Al are applicable to both genders but more on the women,I agree. But they don't speak up,I have seen cases of men raping their wives anally and those women don't report to the police, don't blame men for Stockholm syndrome. They report decades after when there are no more proofs or stay silent about it. The law didn't permit rape, domestic violence, etc but women did by keeping quite. As for the issue of pregnancy,if women have the right to do abortion (rejecting a child) then men should have the right to choose to accept pregnancy or not. You pro-choice people keep saying a lady should do with her body what she wishes,if she has the rights to choose abortion without the man consent while should the man be involved forcefully in child support? If child support laws must be enforced then men too must be involved in the issue of abortion. By the way is it not your fellow women that sham single mothers? Did sassy.sure not hurl the blame on single mothers and claim a single dad is always good? Did Ari.za not claim they are not heroines unless they become SM due to rape or widowhood? Go around and see for yourself how married women insult and make fun of single moms because they secured a ring. Aren't your fellow ladies the ones that advice your sons not to marry a lady raised by a single mom? You ladies are the gatekeepers of patriarchy. 2 Likes |

Kingarthur21:you know abortion is illegal in Nigeria, right? As for the case of rape, they are being threatened to keep silent, let's not forget the stigma, and of course the fact that the police aids and abetts rape as far as the rapist can pay them off. This is not a first world country. The sentence for rapists is not heavy either. Nigerian laws don't support women. The law encourages paedophilia here. The same law allows an old man to marry an 11 year old. So I stand my ground. Men are allowed to get away with too much in this country, and yet, this generation of men are dissapointments. 5 Likes |

Kingarthur21:that's conditioning by African society at play. If a woman says she is rich now, and she is the one paying school fees, she will be called arrogant and the man starts acting out because he is emasculated. But I believe that ladies should improve their self esteem. So why am I one of the most hated females here, because my self esteem is above average (a lot of work to get there) and I say my truth in a way no one wants to hear. Men in Nigeria, live off putting the women below them. That's why I call it privilege. Why do you think we have redpillers here. The are the ones who cry foul because they are losing their privilege. 2 Likes |

Arsenate: A misogynist is anyone that doesn't pander to feminist delusions. The meaning is not static, but fluid and can bend to anything the accuser deem fit. Paying for dates could also be construed as misogyny, since it assumes that one consider her a child who cant cater for herself, they call it "benevolent sexism". If a man is masculine and no feminist have called him a misogynist, he is probably an idiot. 15 Likes 4 Shares |

funmisticqueen2: As for polygamy, many society practice polyadry, is it matriarchy? To your second paragraph, is the ability to receive lighter prision sentences, not been put in the frontline during war, protected by UN conventions to be rescued first alongside children during war/disaster oppression against men and matriarchy? To your last paragraph, is the ability to abort a baby even if the father wants it without consequence matriarchy? If you observe, I'm not justifying a man doing any of what you mentioned, I'm only mirroring what you said to something similar that women does. So now should I be offended about the above? 15 Likes 3 Shares |

funmisticqueen2:you were hated not just because of your truth but because of your man-hating and shaming which you have stopped. Men set their standards and how they want to live,if the women are dumb enough to accept it then it's not men putting women down but women dancing to the tune of men. I agree Africa endorsed depravity of men but will you deny things are changing?divorce rates are higher now, women are the ones with the power, pinch a lady and human rights activists will move with banners and the men persecuted. The society is making up for women. All you have to do is make a post with supporting pictures online and wait for the world to come to your rescue. I saw a post of a lady stripped for stealing, the people who stripped her have being arrested while for decades men have been lynched and burned to death for stealing yet the perpetrators go scot free. You talked of endorsing polygamy, with the rate of paternity fraud now you are yet to realise that women are now the main cheats in marriage/dating. Were you not the one that gave excuse for a lady that slept with her gym instructor? If tables were turned you will call it male depravity. The society has done more to speak for women that they have become gynocentric and no man speaks for males. What else do you want from the society? The entire nation supported bukola dakola (without concrete evidence of the rape),they are many social media handles and pages that are pro-woman,even men now speak up for women and call their fellow men pigs. So how is the society enabling subjugation of women? More awareness is created for paedophilia and rape. Was a senator not taken to court after slapping a lady? Are NGOs and celebrities not helping the girl child?how about the little girl called success that is now enjoying scholarship? Was Yerima not opposed when he married a 13 year old girl years back? So who are those that are encouraging men to misbehave? You should know when the battle is won and advice your fellow girls make wise use of the power they now have. You say the society will call a lot of women arrogant for real? Are you not following current trends? Who are the CEOs we have now? Go to Instagram and see ladies advertising their makeup and clothing brands. How about Jaaruma, the leading sex therapist in Nigeria making her own name despite having a husband? Except they are ghosts you are referring to but i don't know any male that put ladies down for being successful more than their partners, perhaps it existed in our fathers time but not now... If successful ladies hide their wealth and attribute it to their husbands its probably out if fear that YOU(FUNMI) will call them pick mesha for not marrying a man more wealthy than them . Did society tell the liar amatarasha to lie about having a husband or him taking her to Siberia? To ladies, being successful is having a man higher than them in finances, that caters for them, anything short of that is being pickmesha so the ones who aren't lucky that jam wealthy men have to lie to prevent people from calling them pickmesha. Redpillers speak their truth the way you speak yours. They have a healthy self-esteem and want the best for themselves ,if you don't know there are redpills for ladies as well on reddits. The idea of them wanting the best and seeking for men interest is what you call narcissistic and oppose but when you encourage ladies to seek out themselves and set high standards you see nothing wrong with it. The summary of my epistle is that the narrative is changed, women are getting powerful by the day, anyone lady that still gets burnt didn't play her cards well or is not wise 5 Likes 1 Share |

funmisticqueen2:so who are those buying mifepristone?who are those doing D&C? As for the case of rape, they are being threatened to keep silent, let's not forget the stigma, and of course the fact that the police aids and abetts rape as far as the rapist can pay them off. This is not a first world country. The sentence for rapists is not heavy either.I am not too current with Nigeria law. I stand to be corrected, the senators passed a bill for life imprisonment for rape. If they are actually silenced as your think who are those utilising the power of social media to share their rape experience? Who are those being arrested that makes news on social media? Police don't excuse rape they excuse crime once bribed. Its not only rape! Generally when you can bribe the police FOR ANY crime they can let you go not just rape. How about male rape, and sexual molestation of men? Who listens to us? I can't recall how many times I was abused as a kid. Or is it my female lesson teacher that sucked my penis?or ladies that have groped my organs that I dare not say a word about it else I would be written off as a joke you have no proof for the bolded. If you said the progress is slow ,I will have agreed but making it feel as though the law and society claps hands for men will be dishonest. Such changes don't happen over night. Nigerian law is not to support women but Nigerians(men and women inclusive). There is a ministry of women affairs, there are women rights activists ,what else do you people want? Should men and women attain 100% equality you will want more special treatment. Who are the people chopping off men penis or pouring acid on men for dumping them? Who are the ones pouring hot water on men just for suspecting cheating? okay ,your truth. I also believe this bunch of women of today are a disappointment and a feminine mockery of our mothers 6 Likes 1 Share |
