Business › Having Money Is One Thing, Spending Judiciously Is Another Thing by helinues(op): 6:42pm On May 14 |
The definition of being poor have been misunderstood by people generally
Being poor don't mean you don't have money at all but the money is limited for whatever you have in mind
To hustle for money is one thing, spending it judiciously/wisely is actually entire new things.
Had we been managing the small small money we have been having, may be we could have gone far in life

duro4chang: Not at all. It's ethnic politics being played in the south east. It might also happen in 2027. It's well it's still same same script in South East towards the 2027 election. They won't vote for others except their own which we have no issue with |
Politics › Re: Can North Central/south South Ticket Win Presidential Election In Nigeria by helinues(op): 8:36am On May 14 |
Linzo: I think no hope for North Central, Obi will surely win Tinubu in 2027 and in 2031 Kwankwaso will automatically take over probably with South-South or South-East VP. So it's a long one for NC.
Secondly, the NW and NE know quite well that Tinubu will never return power to them, but will rather Install a Yoruba NC, which will be of no benefit to them. So, because of this reason both regions will never vote Tinubu in 2027.
So anyone thinking that NW or NE will vote Tinubu come 2027 is leaving fouuul paradise.
As for North Central, Obi already locked Nassara, Benue, Abuja and Plateau, and will have a good outing in Kogi, but as for Kwara I don't know, it's left for them to choose between failure, adoption killings, banditry or Light How did Peter Obi take enter this discussion fcs? |

Politics › Can North Central/south South Ticket Win Presidential Election In Nigeria by helinues(op): 7:15am On May 14 |
The 2027 election discussion is over for me, my focus is on development, policies, reforms and good governance while permutating for the 2031 possible ticket
North Central presenting a presidential candidate, they should automatically have the Southern region votes plus VP from South South
NW don't have the birth right to the presidency as they have presented Yaradua and Buhari. They shouldn't be showing face in 2031 election
The North East would have been the best to produce the next president from North but due to the way the region has been handling security issue poorly for decades, the people and their politicians are seen as incompetent. If they can't fix the security issue enraging their region, how can they fix complicated Nigeria security matter
Do you think North Central presenting a credible presidential candidate with credible South South candidate as VP can win presidential election in Nigeria? |

LegendHero: God bless the South-South region.
They understand politics and they don’t play politics of bitterness. They should be staking higher in 2027 because of the possibility of VP position for the region in 2031 |

NerdCat: Actually Atiku Abubakar served as Vice President of Nigeria from 1999 to 2007, under one president, in one continuous political relationship. That is one VP tenure. He has not been VP a second time. He has run, unsuccessfully, for President six times. So it would be a second VP term, not a third. I don't need to waste my time on you |

Politics › Re: Northern Politicians Afraid Of Tinubu's Second Term Restructuring. by helinues: 4:55am On May 13 |
dreamxhaser: North east, north west, most north central and some southern politicians will go against restructuring.
I know you are a Tinubu fan boy but you hype him beyond what he is capable of.
Now assuming only the north east and north west go against it, which is not possible for only them to be against it. The bill will still not pass because there are 39 senators from those regions and for a bill to pass you need 73 senators (two-thirds majority) to support it.
This means if 39 are against the others left will be 70 making the rest 3 senators short.
Also, i am very sure some senators from the north central like Niger, FCT, etc will be against it to.
Finally what makes you think aside Lagos the south western states can survive restructuring? In an event of restructuring the south east will no longer be marginalized and most people from the south east and south-south region will focus their businesses and investments around cities like PH. This is because vital infrastructures like ports and the likes will be built in the south-south region, like do you know the amount of wealth that region will accumulate from controlling their oil? Omo the south west won’t compete even in another life time. Also, i am sure alot of northerners will focus in doing trades and importation there.
Though it might not happen instantly, but it will take a few years. Lagos will depopulate to because why would anyone from the north, south west or south east invest in Lagos when there are more booming cities like PH?
You should understand that the north and south west are the biggest beneficiaries of this pattern of government. Else the south west will be no different from Benin republic, while the north will be no different from Niger republic.
The south-south is the power of Nigeria
Edited: In fact if you come to think of it, the south west is the biggest beneficiary of one Nigeria. Even more than the north. I have said it severally that restructuring or state policing is a gimmick. Nigeria is not yet mature to practice any of the 2 at the moment. So that some northerners was against it didn't make difference as there was no intention about. How about other policies and reforms which the Northerners initially fumed about but they couldn't do anything about it. The average core NW and NE don't want the INEC chairman but we have only be seeing their renting on social media. The current reality about Nigeria politics most especially in the north, the NW in particular are realizing their numbers alone can't win presidential election, Buhari tried severally |

Parachoko: They have the numbers.
During the VAT debacle, Asiwaju proposed that the states generating the VATs should keep 60% of what they generate, the Northern Lawmakers didn't support the proposal and it has to be reduced to about 30% or 20%
And I don't think only Politicians from the North will be against a total restructuring. Even some Politicians from the South will reject it.
A lot of states will Collapse without the Oil money from ABJ The proposal didn't go through house voting if not , northerners would have lost out. Anything restructuring, southerners irrespective of regions will support it. North East and NW politicians have been the the one being disgruntled with president Tinubu. Both region don't have the numbers to overturn major decisions |
