budaatum: Did you just ignore the "if"?
No, I do not "mean Atiku can become a VP for the third time", since I don't know how or if the majority of Nigerians will vote for anything with his name on it as he is not loving Nigeria at all in my own opinion, but to add to your disappointment perhaps, since you think it matters, Obi - and I am Obidient, due to my anti-continuance of APC and despite my ọmọ wa ni, I can not see Obi winning the presidency against Tinubu without a hefty Northerner by his side.
And that's apart from the fact that Tinubu, despite life in Nigeria being more expensive and harder now that we can no more freely eat the subsidised fruit of every tree and now have to sweat from our own brow to feed our own bellies, has done some things that some seem to appreciate, hence their support, and some of those things will prepare us for our futures when everything will cost hundreds times what it cost today, unless you wanna argue we aren't capitalised enough for that yet or wouldn't definitely become in the future
I just wish he would stop government subsidizing wages for employers and scrap NYSC though, so employers are not incentivised to create a lack of the unskilled, but I would only mention that to disappoint you further. Your if didn't cover the poster you attached by yourself Moreover, your epistle didn't answer my simple question. Where is it in Nigeria constitution that one can be a vice president for 3 times

Car Talk › Re: Is It Wise To Buy A Manual Transmission As A First Car? by helinues: 10:19am On May 12 |
CharleyBright: Different strokes for different folks. Am more at home with Manual. I enjoy the power and confidence everytime I change gears with Manual cars. There is more conformity in driving an automatic car compared to a manual car. This is not about different folks, it's something that should be logical With automatic, you don't stress above gear movement, just control the pedals compared to manual you have to be adjusting the pedals with gear |
Car Talk › Re: Is It Wise To Buy A Manual Transmission As A First Car? by helinues: 9:55am On May 12 |
Delat521: Abeg to disagree with this assertion. It's better to start with manual driving first before automatic. You should have learn rigorous driving experience thru manual first.
I learnt thru that and I drive automatic later effortlessly without even training. So once you're perfect with manual you get get along with automatic not vice versa. Automatic driving give more confort in driving compared to manual. Put reversing gear with auto and manual as example |
Car Talk › Re: Is It Wise To Buy A Manual Transmission As A First Car? by helinues: 9:54am On May 12 |
CharleyBright: Nope, I answered him accordingly in my initial post that he should go for Manual if it is his first car because of the advantages of manual.
However, I am replied you based on your response about Manual being cumbersome and giving drivers anxiety in traffic. That is why I asked you if you know how to drive Manual? And you seem to be avoiding answering the question. Obviously, you don't know how to drive a manual car. So you are not in the position to give advise on what you don't know. Like I said earlier, if you only drive Automatic car, you only know how to "move a car" . Go and learn to drive a manual car so you can confidently tell anyone that you can "Drive a car". Knowing how to move a car is different from knowing how to drive a car. I started reversing and moving forward even before dad taught me how to drive. The place at which the car is parked is open to canal, learning with manual in such kind of place boost more than confident in driving But in generally driving, you feel relax with automatic car than manual |

Car Talk › Re: Is It Wise To Buy A Manual Transmission As A First Car? by helinues: 8:09am On May 12 |
CharleyBright: Dude, be honest and tell me, do you drive a manual? Yes or No.
I am almost sure you have never driven a Manual car and that is why you are talking about anxiety with changing gears in traffic. There is absolutely no big deal with changing gears in traffic if you learnt to drive Manual cars. Infact, you can change gears with your eyes close and unconsciously if you have been driving manual for over 3 months.
See most of you that learned to drive Automatic without learning to drive Manual first always come with these kinds of crappy talk. If you go to driving school, they will advise you to learn to drive Manual instead of automatic. E get why. They use Manual to teach you how to drive.
The reason is that when you use a Manual car, you are learning to "Drive a Car" . But when you use an Automatic car, you are learning to "Move a car".
All you people driving automatic cars, only know how to move a car . Go back and learn how to drive a car with Manual.
My neighbor had a terrible experience some years back. His wife was in labour at midnight and needed to rush to the hospital. His automatic car couldn't start. I had travelled when he called for help. I told him to go collect my car keys and drive his wife to hospital. Lo and behold, he only knew how to drive Automatic and my car then was Manual. It was then it dawn on him that he did not actually know how to drive but only knew how to move an automatic car.
Go back and learn how to drive using a Manual drive which would give you an advantage of being able to drive both automatic and manual. You are mixing things together. Learning a car is different from what the discussion is all about Is It Wise To Buy A Manual Transmission As A First Car?The op is asking about buying first car. Whether you learn manual or automatic driving, which do you think you will enjoy the driving most on your first car |

It is the responsibility of the man to make the money, the woman has no role doing so yet the scarce most lucrative jobs and opportunity keep going to the female folks. A female is more likely to get juicy white collar employment after education than an average male. The society placed the financial responsibilities on men and u just also echoed such manipulation. This is not about mentality of financial burden on men..A guy going into any relationship should be financial okay by himself. Yes ladies have privileges than men but in exchange for what? Would you prefer your girl to use her body to get opportunity or you as a guy do the responsibility part? |
Car Talk › Re: Is It Wise To Buy A Manual Transmission As A First Car? by helinues: 7:46am On May 12 |
CharleyBright: Where did you hear this kind of theory? Learn to drive Automatic first before Manual? That's awkward advise. If you learn to drive Manual, you can drive Automatic. But if you learn auto first, you will have problems with Manual while learning. I am not particularly talking about the driving part but the safety and gaining confidence on road with first car. There is anxiety sometimes when changing gear most especially in traffic, the calmness and confidence need to be mastered before enjoying manual car. |
Car Talk › Re: Is It Wise To Buy A Manual Transmission As A First Car? by helinues: 6:39am On May 12*. Modified: 10:53am On May 12 |
it's wise and advisable as a first time car owner to get automatic car
Use that to master driving and confidence on the road before going for manual
Manual car was created mostly for conformity. If you want a smooth ride with your first car, go for automatic |
Romance › Re: Every Woman Dating A Struggling Man Has A Timeframe (True Or False?) by helinues: 6:20am On May 12*. Modified: 6:44am On May 12 |
A lady which I could have married may be, she broke up with me almost because of the brokenness limit..
Not that she was aware or have a clue about my financial degrading. After she finished school, she was still around campus as I was around, too when I realized things wasn't going fine, I had this opportunity of extra change and told her to return back home ( She's from above average family). I can struggle alone as a guy
She left, 6 months later, I was almost unrecognized, I didn't let her have any clue until she said she would be coming to town, heh, before then, a friend saw me in town and asked, What happened to you, as a guy, I understand more than the question.
The lady could have actually helped, infact she could have asked money directly from her mom to assist me because I was liked and trusted by part of her family. I didn't let her know
Her coming to town, i already gave some attitude to avoid meeting by all means and I was successful, but unfortunately for me, the day she would be coming, she called, I didn't pick, she has been calling before the day, so i went to town to do something, on my way back on motor bike, I heard someone calling my name, even without looking back, the voice was her , I turned to confirm, behold it was her, at that moment, the only thing on my head was to just pretend like I didn't recognize the person or the calling.
Worsted decision ever in my life. I left, just told the bike man to continue moving. We moved a bit and the bike man asked , someone called you the other time as he slowed down when I looked back, when I told him it was my then current girlfriend, he first parked, look back and gave me this mean look, you are wicked
If she eventually broke up with me because of that particular ignoring, I deserved it. Till today, she never heard the major reason why I ignored on that day even though we met 2-3 times after..
The story is good to tell today because things changed for good , there wasn't that much regret about everything.
I made my financial burden then mostly on my elder sister, I prefer that to girlfriend |
