DeepSight:But we have cleared our current debt with IMF. So what's wrong with their policies? |
igboarenice:Bro you see, we have to be realistic with some certain things. Like who in the coalition can defeat president Tinubu? How is it going to do it without having the listed advantages above? |
snowball11:Do the bitterness and sadness alone. Allow me to express my opinion |
There are times we need to be realistic with ourselves. Those who are forming coalition, I am yet to see how they can remove/defeat president Tinubu in 2027 Is it by popularity? Even before president Tinubu won in 2023, he was more popular politically than the other candidates not to talk of now that he's the president Leadership quality: Abeg which of the people in the coalition have the leadership quality like president Tinubu, hahaha, the same people who deserted their previous political party as they lack leadership skills. Strategy - Why are the opposition unable to pull subsidy protest like during GEJ'S time even for the fact that former president Buhari paid the same fuel subsidy they campaigned against before winning in 2015? Politics with consultant - President Tinubu might be grounded politically but most of his though decisions are mostly recommended by his consultant group which always cross check every moves, every plans. The so called people in the opposition are lonely politically not to talk of making use of consultant in guiding their political journey. Those who have been reckless with their talk already indicated that they have back up advisers. Money and resources: To win a presidential election in Nigeria even with your popularity, you will still need nothing less than N50bn. There is yet to be any state governor defecting to the coalition party ADC, who will fund the party? In president Tinubu's case, the foreigners who are interested in investing in Nigeria but yet to get there way would be the one to fund president Tinubu campaign indirectly. Support base/ political structure - ADC only have 2 house of reps members who are from Bauchi state, no governor, no senator. Where would the coalition start from in building bases, political structure? It would have been easy for them to collapse their former party structure to the coalition but they have never be in charge of that. Be it Atiku/Peter Obi, Atiku/Amaechi, Obi/Elrufai or which ever combination, they can never defeat president Tinubu. You can take that to the bank for cash out. As usual, this thread is for future reference |
Of course there was a bit improvement with the electricity but we still have s long way to go |
Enjoy your trip Baami. As usual we are expecting more investment talk at the meeting |
If the coalition alternative to president Tinubu is any of the below, then get to know the winning of the 2027 election would be so easy like drinking pap Atiku Peter Obi Amaechi El Rufai |
This one is just talking recklessly lately. Those who are close to him should pay attention |
Antoeni:Abuse others well well. Isn't that the same tactics you people have been using for some time now which you never achieved anything with. Continue shogbo |
TheNiceGuy:All the best in the journey of finger biting. We would do the consolation when reality eventually get done |
press9jatv:What I am not really understanding is some people be so certain of removing president Tinubu in 2027. Like how are they making their calculation? Ordinary with the 2 years before the election, president have the opportunity of writing more good stories not necessarily for election but just to add to his achievements. When it comes to political strategy, all those forming the coalition are not even up to 1/8 of president Tinubu's capability |
TheNiceGuy:The coalition will make no head way as those who are leading the coalition are mostly disgruntled former Apc. Atiku, Amaechi, Aregbesola , Elrufai Which new story are they going to tell Nigerians in 2027? You better come down from a bus heading into a lagoon |
Who are the people who organized the event? Where are they from? |
I am just laughing at Aregbesola. He's already making aroba that might hinder his generations progress. You don't become an enemy overnight after being helped by the same person you are renegading against |
Your ideas is not different from those who are forming coalition. You only need change of power even if it's replacing a witch with a devil. If Peter Obi is claimed to be the best candidate amongnst the rest, why should he be vicing anyone? If the position of VP is not that powerful, what wonders would Peter Obi do as Atiku's VP |
Adexgentle005:Hunger no dey again since the coalition party ADC set. Those who are complaining of hunger should still be paying to join a political party That one self good |
They have not even settled down, they have been swindling themselves. All Desposed Criminals. ADC |
sreamsense:What some of them don't know is, Obi as the president of the coalition, who do you think would be controlling the government? Hahaha One chance |
Charly boy should be ready to hear all the stories that his grandpa refused to tell him today ![]() |
richidinho:Qualified with what criteria, records, achievements, legacies? |
Obidients are missing some important things. Why did Atiku leave Pdp for the coalition party? What was Amaechi saying when he said he can serve one term? There are other people who are also ambitious as Peter Obi in the coalition. Are the Obidients expecting the coalition to gift their presidential ticket to Peter Obi on a platter of gold? Considering how ambitious some of the coalition leaders are, consensus candidate should be ruled out. So if it's going to be through primary election, is there any chance for Peter Obi in such contested election? |

DMerciful:Politics don't work that way. Why did Atiku leave Pdp? What was Amaechi saying when he said he can serve one term. So you expected the coalition to give their presidential ticket to Peter Obi on a platter of gold? |
Hahaha, Peter Obi first political party was ANPP. Him moving to ADC will make it the 5th political party he has defected to. Infact he got the governorship ticket uncontested under ANPP but because of the popularity of APGA in Anambra state and Ojukwu's factor, he swapped with the person who won the APGA primary as it was conducted already. 70% of the Obidients don't have a clue about this |
Educationalserv:That's a foreign language which we don't understand here |
DMerciful:He doesn't have money to get it. Not even vice president position. Or perhaps you have forgotten about the people he is dealing with in the coalition |
Educationalserv:You ended up talking to yourself as I couldn't comprehend what you wrote. Unfortunately for you |
Educationalserv:There is no sense in this thread. If Atiku hs defected to ADC due to Wike's influence in Pdp, why should Wike also join ADC Can you see it lacks sense |
Create sensible thread not senseless thread Thank you |
SeeWahala: Atiku/Amaechi would likely have the ticket due to financial aspectI blame the mods for allowing your likes to be derailing threads at will |
SeeWahala:Stop talking nonsense and stop derailing threads. Where is your contributions to this topic? |
