Borrowing na issue for nigeria, because your governors, and the president do not want to tax the majority of NIgerians who are in the informal sector to reduce borrowing, as well as the majority of the very rich who do not pay income tax to reduce borrowing.

Even the borrowing governors do is not enough to meet the actual needs of the state, also some of the borrowing is tied to some projects. It cannot be diverted to other projects.

SUbsidy removal helped states a great deal...but the time for salary increases is coming. And states have a large debt burden as does the federal government. SOmething got to give.

Borrowing is not actually the issue but what they do with the money

If they had spent the loan collected judiciously, the tax rate in the country is supposed to be getting lower

Whether borrowed loan or taxing, what they do with should be the concerns

Obi clearly borrowed and owed loans while in office, and passed them down to his Successor.

I firmly refuse to believe that Obiano kept those debts intact, and went on to pass them off to his own successor.

Maybe next time, just ask for clarification.

Then you don't know how loan works. There are short and long time loan. Some repayment can take 10-20 years.

The loan this current government have been servicing, there are some obtained as far back as when GEJ was in power

Before the last Osun Guber election, the state government dissolved the NURTW in the state as reasonable of their leaders are loyal to Apc candidate.

I still remember the event which I blamed Oyetola for providing security to the Sibi's group to take over some park.

Yesterday Sunday, Ajagungbade and his members went to Osogbo to meet with the commissioner of transportation in the state, infact the meeting was impromptu as lots of those who escorted Emir to the place was notified on that same Sunday morning.

The meeting was about why they should support Emir as the new chairman for the mini bus in his controlled area.

After the meeting, the Emir's member claimed they went to Ile Ife motor park to eat and then attacked. That story is not straight at all.

They went to the park he was attacked to take over ..

It was insensitive from the Osun state government to quickly made anyone the new chairman as the issue on ground before the election was yet to be settled.
