The Us lawmakers have collected money from the Us companies who are into mining. That's why some of them have been insisting on christian persecution in Nigeria even though they never stepped a foot in Nigeria .

Same tactics was used in Eastern Congo. South Africa, Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda have been the one holding ground for the USA companies in Congo. The Chinese have been stylishly sacked from there

The people posting on this thread are telling us low key that they supported tinubu's anti-subsidy protest in 20-12.

The problem with Nigerians is our collective hypocrisy. Tinubu supporters who were protesting against subsidy removal now support it with their whole hearts because their man removed it. They will even hail him as a good leader...when in real life they are being hypocritical

In the same vein, GEJ supporters who supported subsidy removal in 2012 because their man wanted to remove it are now all for subsidy. The obidient branch would even pretend that Obi never supported subsidy removal in 2022.

All in all, what I see here is very sad. One group of hypocrites is calling out another group of hypocrites.

THe truth is, subsidy removal, the concept, is a weapon being used by both sides to get into power. THe cold truth is that people like Racoon and Helinues , seunmsg and DesChyko do not want subsidy to go at all. They also know that it is not possible to have a subsidy. But since they are only commited to supporting their side, they support subsidy removal when it favors them, and don't support it when it does not.


The honest truth is that subsidy has to go. And it should have gone since 1993. We kept it, and we paid the price for keeping it..our already bad economy has gotten worse, and we lost 4 refineries.

I guess that OP wants us to bring back subsidy, even if it means that we take 17 or more trillion from the budget , meaning that Nigeria would have to borrow more...just to pay for subsidy.

I just dey observe. That's why it is no use supporting or even believing in any of the main parites and their supporters in this country. So long as they stay in power, they will take populist decisions.

Infact that is effing why I even am begining to find the discussion on this site riddiculous. Back in 2012, if I was saying I supported subsidy removal on this site, people go call me gej supporter. Saying it now , means I am tinubu supporter. Saying i support neither means I am lying. Yet people can not see or even care to see what would happen if subsidy comes back, and how damaging it is, and why it should have gone years ago. Poverty is a great weapon against nigerians, but not in the way most see it.
