2. Next time you go home, look for any problem in your home. It may be a broken pipe, a cracked wall or an odd behavior exhibited by a younger sibling. Then, call your Dad's or your Mom's attention to it, while offering a solution to it. You can say something like, "Dad, I noticed that the wall at the basement is cracked. I don't think it's safe. I'd like to work on it".
Once you say this, they will change the way they think about you. |

1. Don't ask your parents for money for 6 months. How can you do this? There are different ways to earn money as a student. Subscribe to one of them and use it to sustain yourself. If you don't know any, you can attend a free class I'm holding by 7pm today. You can get more details on the class here https://www.nairaland.com/6875447/wish-knew-before |

I've met some students who think that their parents are not respecting them enough. If you are such a student, hear this...
YOUR PARENTS DON'T RESPECT YOU AS YOU EXPECT BECAUSE THEY STILL SEE YOU AS A KID.
See how to change that: |

Sit at a quiet place and visualize yourself back in the dreamland where you were smoking. Once you are back there, CONSCIOUSLY say, "I AM NOT THIS PERSON. THIS MANIPULATION CAN'T WORK". You can repeat this until you are sure it has touched your heart.
Such a dream is a manipulation of your subconscious mind by some dirty spirits. So, reject it in your conscious mind and it will flee. "Resist the Devil and it will flee from you" (James 4:7). |

Everyone should help himself in Nigeria. We have zero government. docdes: NIGERIANS, USE THESE TIPS TO STAY SAFE FROM GETTING KIDNAPPED OR KILLED
An African adage has it that, "a wise person learns from what happens to others but a fool waits until trouble engulfs his head". Another one says that "when the corpse of another person's child is being carried, it looks like a bundle of firewood".
Yesterday, I was somewhere when a sound like gunshot went off and people began to run this way and that. It turned out that it was a police van having exhaust issues.
We have had too many kidnap and murder incidents all over Nigeria in recent years. So, it will be foolish for anyone not to get prepared against such an incident.
Those who are bound to say, "not my portion" should know that no one who was ever kidnapped or killed prayed for it. So, it can still happen to anyone else even if they are not praying or prepared for it.
Therefore, let's use this opportunity to share any tips we have that can help Nigerians to stay safe in any situation where Government security may fail.
I START: Below are the tips I have for everyone to stay safe. I will add more as I remember them. Now, also share the ones you know:
1. Don't post your residential address online.
2. Don't share details about your children or the members of your household online.
3. Don't go to an unfamiliar location alone. If you have a job that takes you into the hinterlands, find a different job. If you can't find another job yet, here is a thread that can help you to earn from social media without having to go out often https://www.nairaland.com/6852564/mf-bigroup-how-make-up
4. Whenever you drive, watch your back through the side mirror and if you ever notice anything that looks like someone is following you, pull up at a busy place and let the vehicle pass. Then, follow it up and watch the driver's further behavior and act accordingly.
5. Have the number of a Police team or the Police station in your area. Just ask for it with a good manner of approach, giving your reason. Use the number whenever the occasion demands it - even if you only suspected something sinister.
6. If you ever see any vehicle packed in your neighborhood without any sign that the vehicle broke down, call the attention of other people in your neighborhood to it. Or, you call a Police team. No matter what, the Police can still help.
7. Emphatically instruct the members of your household to always raise an alarm whenever anyone orders them to come to them. Tell them why they need to do this with every courage they can muster.
8. Before you attend any job interview, make sure that you have done a background check on the company.
9. If you survive by doing casual or domestic work in unspecified locations, always tell a close family member where you are working each day.
10. Avoid expressing desperation online. Some evil people can capitalize on it to lure you.
11. If you ever hear any gunshot when you are outdoors, don't panic. Instead, calm down and know the exact direction it's coming from before you try a SMART escape.

CNN vindicated at last. Where is Lie Muhammad? Nigerians, let's be prepared for self-help because we've got no Government. 10mobile: It takes greatness to appreciate greatness. If they have scammed you, tell us openly. Otherwise, be careful with your negative mindset. It is a big poverty mentality to think that anything you are not getting absolutely free is a scam.
How many people will offer you GENUINE VALUES for free? If you paid the $5 and failed to get the fulfillment of the promise, that's the only time you would have the moral right to call it a scam. Or, else, you are stopping many people from an opportunity that would change their lives for good - which is witchcraft.
Anyway, it's only fools that will read the ebook and still listen to you. The level of knowledge manifested by the writers shows that they know what they are doing. So, stop paying back evil for good lest evil lives in your house. Don't you know that poverty turns people into devils? It makes people see evil intentions in every move you make. And, there are many such devils here on this forum looking for people to destroy. This is one of the best ebooks I've ever read and yet it's free. |

Truthwords: I laugh when i see so many cocky nairalanders who support the vaccines. Surprisingly most people who support it have not taken it. And for those of you who may have had your 2 shots of death, please buy a casket, e get why. Learn from this arrogant man called Richard or end up like him. You are yet to show us a proof that the guy died and that he died due to the effects of the vaccine. Why? We don't see more people dying now than when the vaccine was yet to be released. So, while the vaccine (especially the Pfizer type) couldn't be perfect, its overall results are positive. |

Soludo will NOT be a wonderful state Governor just as he wasn't a wonderful CBN Governor. People keep saying SOLUDO SOLUTION, and I wonder any unique solution he has ever offered.
Dr. Maduka is the person who has shown a long-term PASSION to better the lots of Anambra people. But, see how he was rejected - why Nigerians deserve bad leaders everywhere. Anyway, from Maduka's experience, I have learned to never worry when I have good intentions but I am rebuffed by myopic people. Na wah! |

ForeThinker: The best candidate wins In Nigeria? No. As far as a Nigerian politician is concerned, I am permanently in the DOUBTING MODE. So, their words at the debates can't convince me. I rather think about their track records over many years. We have so many bad leaders in Nigeria because they scam us with sweet words and Greek gifts. Nigerians deserve bad leaders due to their incurable stupidity.
Look at Soludo. Just his name sold him. They say that he is SOLUDO SOLUTION. What unique solutions has Soludo given in the past?
The other time, millions of Nigerians forgot Atiku's long corruption records just because his marketers created the word 'ATIKULATE'. Buhari came shouting CHANGE and multimillion Nigerians forgot that he ruled the country 30 years earlier and his rule created high levels of austerity.
Just like the op getting convinced by a TV debate of less than 2 hrs. So, you now hand over your next 8 years to someone based on a 2-hour event only? Then, why are we complaining about politicians when our stupidity is our number 1 problem? |
