LegendHero:lol, the Europeans on their arrival in igbolands hinted on their surprise at the presence of such good looking fair skinned people in the African jungle, I will attach Historical accounts ![]() |
TAO11:Other evidences I have has it that Igbos started moving out of their original homelands around the confluence of the Niger and benue in waves spanning thousands of years and across a very broad front.....most moved south towards present day Igbos homelands.......but a very early group had gone south west towards Ife more than 3000 years before the arrival of the first yoruba ancestors |
TAO11:while yorubas descended down the evolutionary ladder and started mating with apes(this is evident in the physical appearance bof most yorubas today) |
TAO11:Now the real gist is really that Yoruba people started breeding with apes on arrival at Ife cos the ancient Igbos kept kidnapping their women I wanted to leave out this part of the story but my hands were forced ![]() |
TAO11:Your replies have totally lost all substance Fortunately or unfortunately for you I still have piles of evidence, Your ooye lagboo is an utter corruption of a very common Igbo word ![]() I'm not letting you free, you must swallow the truth |
[bs TAO11:[/s] You Ife fable is now without any defense ![]() A group of Igbo people has now been proven to be your forefathers ![]() |
LegendHero:Your point being? |
TAO11:Your Egos have been bruised by your Oonis revelation I understand what you must be feeling ![]() |
LegendHero:You have nothing to say here again apart from your usual small minded trash ![]() Go and read The Moremi stories of Ife tonight, Ife is really and extension of igbo land leased to the yoruba on arrival from kogi state ![]() |
TAO11:You are now the new Babaramotu1980 Clown of thread Point me to where it was mentioned that the Igbo people or Nri are descended from the Yoruba people of Ife from whom they mastered Ifa before they then descended into the evil-forest |
LegendHero:Point me to where the Ooni said that Igbos originated in Ife? Such claims will be heretical |
LegendHero:Nowhere did the Ooni state that Igbos descended from anybody ![]() It would have been an abomination to the very throne to say that. Obatala himself who the Yoruba deified was an Igbo ruler in Ife, be calm and keep an open mind while reading the statement and watching the video, you will pick out insights ![]() I have lots of other evidence that doesn't involve the Ooni, but since you are bent on twisting facts there's no need to bring it forth. Metaphysical also knows this truth of Igbo origins of Ife but he doesn't really like discussing it much ![]() |
LegendHero:What yoruba ancestors met in Ife was really one stock of Igbos out of Five there were four others ![]() |
TAO11:Tao11 the stand-up comedian never ceases to entertain ![]() Grasping and groaning is the sign of a drowning man ![]() |
TAO11:Chai!!!, Tao11 and legendhero are battling so hard to save the soul of their ife ![]() IFE which really is the Igbo word for Daylight in contrast with the lowlight of the forest and it's thick canopy that Igbos liked better. ![]() |
LegendHero:So that's what your Bruised ego and shattered pride deduced from the whole video? ![]() Obatala whom the Yoruba regard as the master of all creation himself was clarified by The Ooni to just be an igbo king who was also a master of the spirit just like the Nri priests of more recent Igbo History |
TAO11:You are now on a quest to save face and hide your surprise at the fact that Igbos are the founders of your Ile Ife, gave you the Afa divinition, gave you Obatala whom you worship till date. There was no mention of NRI in that report and the reason is really not far fetched. It has now been proven to you that Igbos are really like a grandpa to Yoruba and all this Niger-congo group of peoples, Do you want to know why Igbos called settlements IFE? |
Tao11 Legendhero below is a video of the Ooni Emphasizing Igbos and their mastery of ancient divinity( the Afa and all its Odus). https://m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DUZ8BA4l9oK0&ved=2ahUKEwiUpvuhj6PrAhUYh1wKHcBsC6QQwqsBMAt6BAgFEAM&usg=AOvVaw2gfqF3C_KypxV2QZLp3-iU Great respect for the Ooni for having the boldness to come out publicly and state this Truth |
TAO11: Thank you for running back into the evil forest from your AwOlOwO and archaeology straw. ![]() Regarding the Ooni of Ife, you need to [b]first show me where Oba Adeyeye ever said that the people of Ife met Igbo people in Ife. However, since I know you haven’t shown that — and ou would never be able to — then I will restrict myself to what he actually said as shown in the attached below that: The Igbo people (including your Nri fore-parents) re descended from the Yoruba people of Ife. See attached for reminder.Tao has turned to a stand-up comedian ![]() Tao11 below is the link to the full report; https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2019/08/ooni-of-ife-and-the-igbo-yoruba-relationship/amp/ |
TAO11:Tao11 is now employing deflection techniques ![]() Tao11 The current topic is whether or not you agree with the Ooni as regards the ancient stock of Igbos who were the original inhabitants of Ife. I'm reving my Engine in preparation to destroy you ![]()
|
TAO11:All your arguements on this Thread Tao11 has based major on excuses: Excuses of why Ile Ife is the last and most recent out of seven Excuses of why I should discard the fact that the Awujale of Ijebu land said they don't have any Ife connection I'm waiting for you to make another excuse of why I should discard what Ooni ogunwusi said about the ancient Igbo origins of Ile Ife itself ![]() |
LegendHero:Please Elaborate more on what Buhari or Donald Trump has in common with a picture of few Nigerian traditional rulers from 1937 ![]() |
TAO11: Insecure bush-children will not kill me. LegendHero, is this what you’ve been tolerating from bush-children?? (1) One of them still insisted that Awolowo (born [b]1919) was the one responsible for the documented statements of the 1850s and 1901. Interesting. I finally brought out the Nri-ness (i.e. dumbness) in these children. ![]() (2) I also see the bush-child trying to bring in the archaeology of Ife as the reason for Ife’s primacy among the Yorubas (perhaps after realizing how his AwOlOwO straw exposes his dumbness even further). Can someone please inform the bush-child that the first archaeological excavation of Ife was in the year 1910 by Leo Frobenius, and as such post-dates the 1850s and 1901 documented states about Ife’s primacy which I shared?? ![]() (3) Push children as expected couldn’t possibly grasp the nuance of the statements from where the Johnsons tried to shift Yoruba’s capital to Oyo. He confused himself between cradle and capital. To educate the low-life bush-child as always, Oyo never at anytime claimed to be the cradle of the Yoruba people. (4)Tao11 the Fraudlent wannabe-historian I can't keep going in perpetual circles of meaningless Argument with you ![]() You are now starting to sound rather confused and Disillusioned I have categorically and satisfactorily proven that ile Ife and the Oduduwa fables was only important to very few Yoruba communities before the 20th century, hang in there I will set you free soon, just one more topic to go ![]() DO you doubt the assertion made by the Ooni that early yoruba ancestors met an ancient stock of Igbos in Ile Ife? screenshot below

LegendHero:Bros where was it stated that this picture was taken according to any rank?....Atleast you can deduce something from what the people in those videos are saying, whether true or false is a matter of opinion. You on the other hand just uploaded a picture and declared they were seated in ranks ![]() |
LegendHero:We are now relying on sitting positions of a photoshoot to tell us History? ![]() |
LegendHero:What are we supposed to learn from this picture? |
TAO11:Tao you are Disappointingly beginning to sound more incoherent and Disillusioned as this arguement wears on, No more phony oyibo fairy tales to qoute?.....we are now in the realm of currently verifiable facts and Yoruba History does not fare well here ![]() I will Reiterate a few facts for your clearity; 1- It was very convenient for Awolowo and the elite of the time which includes Yoruba traditional rulers to tell elaborate and Baseless stories linking all yoruba to ile Ife (At a point you even claimed Ile Ife was the cradle of all civilizations in the world, What a joke ) Because it already had an exalted status based solely on archeological findings of the time(early 20th century) 2-Ask yourself, If Ile-ife was really divine and sacred to all Yoruba people why did Oyo a very young yoruba kingdom founded in 1400 challenge it for the title of yoruba cradle of civilization? ![]() , isn't this because They knew the title was an elaborate Con-job and not at all based on true history history? ![]() 3-About the yoruba community in Benin Republic, A.O Adesoji clearly stated that prior to the 20th century only three communities of Òbà-Ilé near Àkúré, Òbà-Ìgbómìnà and Igbó-Ìdáìsà in modern day Benin Republic believe their founder fell from the sky(Oduduwa) , So your arguement that Awolowo couldn't have influenced the History of Yoruba in Benin Republic is corrected by the fact they were One of only three original communities That truly claim Ife Prior to the antics of Awolowo and his Band of con men ![]() By implication ife is the Cradle of only three communities in the entire yorubaland ![]() |
[s] TAO11:[/s] Tao11 what significance does the opinion of an anonymous Ijebu man from 1901 have? , Is that how low you have descrended? ![]() All evidence keep pointing to the fact that Ile Ife was not sacred to majority of yoruba groups prior to the archeological excavations of the early 20th century which suggested it may have served a ceremonial purpose till around the 15th century This Archeological findings coupled with the need to present a united yoruba front prompted a frenzy of fairy tales where all yoruba groups tried to connect to Ile-ife to foster an artificial unity ![]() According to A.O Adesoji (The myth of Oduduwa and the Farce of Yoruba unity) The impression which the Yorùbá elite wanted to create and foster in the contemporary period is that the Yorùbá nation is a united and indivisible group, notwithstanding the glaring differences between the various Yorùbá sub-groups and their perception of one another. Besides, the manner in which the elite went about it polarised Yorùbáland(he is talking about the Ooni Vs Alaafin fight ).Prior to this attempt by the Yoruba elite to form one United front, Only a few yoruba communities claimed descent from the sky(Oduduwa), According to A.O Adesoji(the myth of Oduduwa and the farce of Yoruba unity) this communities were Òbà-Ilé near Àkúré, Òbà-Ìgbómìnà and Igbó-Ìdáìsà in the present-day Republic of Benin. What Awolowo and his Egbé Omo Oduduwa group collaborated with Yoruba traditional rulers of the early 20th century to do is now quite glaring to Historians like A.O Adesoji ![]() The myth of Oduduwa and Ile-ife as being the source of the yoruba people has been Disproven time with out numbers, I can give you instances from now till 31st December ![]() Finally Tao11 are you in doubt on the fact that there where an ancient stock of Igbos(the Obatala igbos), living in and around Ile-ife before the arrival of some early yoruba ancestors from kogi state, Ooni ogunwusi expressly stated this and I have countless proof of ancient Igbo activities in the Ile-ife area to support him and prove it beyond any reasonable doubt .Honestly i like you cos you a bit teachable unlike most yoruba wannabe-story tellers that like to think they are Historians ![]() NB: Igbos might be lots of things but they are not at all insecure , infact they have a Superiority aura and overconfidence which I personally dislike. |
gwafaeziokwu:Honestly they need to pay me ![]() I have taken them back to their kogi state origins, Next is to make them understand what they call ile-ife was originally populated by an Igbo stock of people called Ndi-gboo(the old ones in Igbo language) The activities of this ancient Igbo stock was captured in the well known Moremi story of IFE .....Even the Ooni made mention of this very recently ![]() I will shatter all erroneous beliefs before this thread ends |
MinorityOpinion:MinorityOpinion stop being such an emotional kid ![]() Tao11 Don't bother bringing Awolowo-era fables and tales of how all yorubas came out of Ile-ife, it has been trashed and discarded, The more plausible view is that yoruba migrations from the confluence region was in waves and it spanned hundreds of years ![]() Up next I'm going to prove to everybody that Igbos were already inhabiting the area today known as Ile Ife(this was not it's original name) before the ancestors of yorubas started arriving, Your Ooni himself Elaborated on this, but you don't like it ![]() Truth is never measured in mass appeal
|
Sammy07:You got scared your false belief is being shattered ![]() For you information we are now discussing how Yoruba ancestors created the fake Ile-Ife you know today, The real Ife in modern day kogi near Idah spoke a proto-igbo language |
BabaRamota1980:Babaramotu this is exactly why I regard you as an illiterate ![]() |
