Hey bro, trying to get my sister through the CELPIP phase and from one of the threads, figured you've taken the exam. If you don't mind, please can you assist with the study materials? |

achmed1: Hey guys I need some advice... submitted oinp application recently...went back to check again and noticed a small mistake...
Under a section were we indicate how much is available to us as settlement funds I indicated 12900 cad instead of 12960 cad Which is ircc requirement for a single applicant.
Although my pof as per documents submitted and letter of explanation is well in excess of the required amount.
Should I be worried? or do I contact them to make the correction? Had same issue (OINP too) and I only realized weeks after submission when I was just freestyling through my downloaded application. Got worried but certificate of nomination came out the following week. I think if evidence of POF is up to required, you have no worries. |

Grreenk: HELP HELP HELP!!!!
Goodday house, please i am an accountant, i have an acca advanced diploma, but i am not fully chartered, i choose noc 1111 which is financial auditors and accountants. Even tho i get chartered here, in canada, acca is seen as bsc, to get chartered i still have to do canadian chartered exam for me to practice as an accountant in canada. According to the noc, for me to use noc 1111, i have to be chartered, which i am not, although my work experience is as an accountant. So house please should i still choose noc 1111, or should i just go with accounting technician which is noc 1311, its also an accountant but a less qualified one I am an auditor/risk consultant (and in turn an accountant) and used NOC 1111 neither I’m I chartered (yet). Ideally, your job responsibilities determine the appropriate NOC. I have former colleagues who have japa’d to Maple land and weren’t chartered. So look through the job responsibilities of both NOC to see which best suits your current job role and go with it. |

lasignor: Lol, just add excess and also, let's hope they don't devalue the Naira.
Not sure how true this is but I learnt they review rates quarterly so daily fluctuations wouldn't affect much. Thanks for the info man |

Just a random thought!
How does IRCC determine if my proof of funds is okay with fluctuating exchange rate? Do they have a standard rate they use in arriving at a decision or they just check the rate as at the day they’re reviewing?
I ask because if this fx fluctuations continue, man POF fit go reduce pass the minimum o! Post AOR, I dey calculate my POF against daily exchange rate and e just dey reduce by the day. Anyone with clear insight on how the POF decision thing works? |

Prettiepearlz: According to what I have read on a group I belong to. She can choose to write two out of the 3 foundation courses end forfeit the other exemptions to get her one year certificate. And I also recently read of someone who got exemption for the three foundation courses and Wes still evaluated it as one year equivalent. Well I got exempted on one of the foundation courses, took the remaining two and WES evaluated as three (3) years equivalent. However, my babe took all three and she got a one year equivalent. |

Hi y'all,
Please who just paid for ITA? What bank did you use?
Apparently some banks now have FX restrictions on the naira card. Tried GT, Eco, Sterling, Stanbic, and Zenith and none seem to be working.
Please what bank did you use and what was the rate.
Thanks as your responses. |

ChidiT: I understand it's annoying to get the same questions but most serious have researched and scoured the internet for information before coming here. I don't think it will be bad if after searching through the forum and not finding the required information, the person states it here and more experienced people copy and paste the link, if they know precisely where such information is. The truth is that the Nairaland search isn't very effective sometimes. Thanks for your patience. @ChidiT, please check your dms |
