You obviously have never lived around White people and their extended family. One thing non African families don't do like Nigerians sadly seem to do often is seek to use, dupe and leech off each other. It is that lack of family feeling towards those abroad that makes us avoid you.

How many times has the op ever picked up the phone to call and see if this man is okay, or how things are going?

Many ONLY ever contact people abroad to ask for money most times or to prepare for coming call where they will ask for funds AGAIN. People get sick of it especially when all around them abroad they see families that function properly and not as a bowl of leeches.

It is to the point that people have stopped informing their family and friends about their trips to Nigeria.

But your wrong judging from others I knw i often call him way back then in sch not that i was asking from him at a time he put his phone on voice that's how we stopped communicating on phone.

It was chat then during my project in school there was no means with my dad having alot of things around him had to ask this my uncle for little contribution of project money till today it was only God that provided can't remember how the money came about at the dieing minute he didn't reply me still.

What am I saying i often communicate with him very well even when he hurts me, like is just something that is unbearable I had to ask why seeing this dreams fade away makes me unhapi each day.

Nigerians and entitlement mentality.

Sorry dear I didn't say am entitled to his riches but we are humans and have feelings I can't imagine an uncle my Dad helped in a little way that's made it far even with lots he've acquired wouldn't wanna help even shows them off on media.

I feel pained and sad why he doesn't want to help any1 I can't imagine how it feels like..I have a goal of which there are no jobs here to work and save for that's why i still go back to look up him since such help isn't easy getting out here.

Op my advice to you is to be prayerful your help can come from anywhere try and get your international passport ready any document that is within your reach for now going to abroad is not easy at all especially now. Just be patient am sure you will go far, God will direct someone else to help you forget about relative besides that your uncle still have younger ones that are aspiring to travel abroad too... Stop dreaming and base on reality. Note: you must have sufficient fund in your account in order to get a visa. How much can you save

Yes I do i pray about the situation I have an international passport already, The dream is real and the hustle is tight only ppl in Nigeria facing such situations can tell,I have a menial job am doing even with the little i get I still help my younger ones in sch just wondering with the high unemployment rate in Nigeria how do one achieve such dreams for people bashing at me..

well maybe because I knw were it pinches me ppl out of Nigeria wouldn't understand ppl comfortable and doing fine here won't also understand only the poor with dreams can understand how i feel.

Op your uncle owes you Nothing,

you better think of what you can do for your uncle and not what your uncle will do for

is it your father who sent him abroad that he has to pay back

self entitlement will limit your potentials

.

My dad contributed little for him before he left the country for his fares then he was doing well.

your uncle is not your father, You don't know what he is facing over there. People will always believe when once you're abroad all is well with you, my advice: Whatever thing your parents can't do for you don't think it's anybody's obligation to do it for you because they also have their own problems.

Someone that has 2 big warehouse in lagos built any other lands even what he post online doesn't seem he's not doing well in all am saying atleast little help matters hence u chat up with him he reads the message and not reply next he blocks u.meanwhile if my parents are doing fine i wouldnt even bother him i believ in self made i hustle real hard but the issue of no jobs and no help seem to make one feel sad cry

i have vision for studies seriously need help nobody to even help me to travel out to achieve this dreams even if it takes me working my ass off for 1/2yrs to send my self to sch there i dont mind, worst is here in Nigeria no work even someone determined to hustle this hard and make the money can't even see any talk of saving i have tried little saving up to 40k just wondering how long its going to take me achieve this dream i intend achieving all these before 30yrs am 26yrs meawhile i got admision at age 19yrs due to all my encounters with my pervert sch lecturer made me graudate at 24.

i cry each night seeing this dreams fade away i have dreams but i can't i don't know where help comes from i wake every night praying and crying to God sometimes i would think no hope on my side.

Edited:
For people bashing at me i accept and ingest all you throw at me you wouldn't know how it feels with the rate of unemployment over here only the poor with such dreams can testify and know how it feels like.

2.I never said money over there falls from the tree or easier thought based on the bills paid over there am all about remembering loved ones at home based on the fact life ain't easy.

3.Brothers and sisters I told u all about my dreams and visions in the research/medical industry my situation sometimes make me cry but I refuse giving up.

Am a 3rd clas graduate of Pharmacology therapeutics by circumstance but with vision and goals.

Prospective visions/goals
Pgd:Pathology /Pharmaceutical Quality assurance
Msc:Immunology & vaccines/Physician Assistant

4.Brothers and sisters talking about me going to Ecowas country am all about those programs and gaining knowledge practically also hustling /working to help my self in school.

I believe it will end in praise for those bashing at me thank you,I hope to be back on this thread in years to appreciate.

FOR 3RD CLASS holders with visions please don't give up.

[quote author=Bnimz post=55184853]You are not trying to gain admission into a university.. Therefore, your GP - first class or third class - does not concern them.... Only thing that matters is that you have a DEGREE... now, what did you study?
